  1. Gah your stuff is so pretty, they all look amazing!
  2. I missed the stream, but ack that one turned out just as wonderful as the rest!
  3. Awwww but the glitter bomb was going to be the BEST. I suppose I can promise not to assault you with glitter... I'd like to just go ahead and sign up with Siha if that's quite alright with you. She has a little calico haired reason to be involved now after all. >.>
  4. The pair flanking Kiht had listened to everything with calm expressions, though amusement flitted across the Roe's face now and again, he could appreciate the Captain's 'show' as he thought of it. The man was quirky, but that kept things interesting didn't it? He could tell his Duskwight companion wasn't quite as impressed but then, he didn't really like anyone who could flaunt better than he could, this Grymn was aware of. His companion draped a leg over the other, watching intently but the motion wasn't all benign as one would think, it kept him even closer to another blade. Grymn himself had little more than the toothpick of a sword at his side, his fingers flexed on his knees in want of his axe in his hands, he wasn't good at this show business part of things. Or waiting. ------ Waiting was exactly what was happening in the kitchen, her keen ears had heard the call out on herself in the forward room, and it had briefly made her slick her ears back in chargrin. Of course they had somehow known everything, Captain Distractin' was ever becoming more and more a nuisance as time went by. She'd dropped the dishes on the counter but the ruse was pointless and she gave a narrowed look in the direction of the 'barmaid' that had called out to her in the first place. A pink streak briefly circled her head on it's way out and she took that for something significant, making her move from her spot in the kitchen, carefully and with chin up to stand as near to the front room as she could get. The fact that they had to -pay- these people. She fumed inside but on the outside her only sign of displeasure was a slicked down set of ears and tail, "If you don't want to accept her money at least consider this...how long do you think you'll last? Not against us but against those that wished to eliminate us. How long before they decide to clean -you- up along with us? If they were willing to destroy something that had immense value to them, how much regard do you think they'll have for a band of pirates they find completely disposable?" all of her words were delivered calmly, but with a grim undertone to them. She didn't say this for just their benefit, she believed it, how long would it take for them to hunt down these pirates just for the sake of being clean? She tucked her hands at her waist and watched the masked Lalafell with grim violet eyes, she would have begged him to let her put her family back together but it would have done no good. She doubted that he had a glimmer of decency for things that didn't benefit him and she wouldn't dare show an ounce of weakness if she could avoid it. It was why she'd come out on her own, despite them knowing she was there she refused to let them be the ones to drag her from the kitchen. "Disagreements from before aside, we could very well have the same enemy...and you have proved that you're more than capable of putting on a stellar performance" the wording was coincidental of course.
  5. So late here but I'd love to see these streamed! And I'm so grateful that I got in! 8D Thank you to Zaheela for doing this wonderful project!
  6. Listen, I never said I didn't like them, but-- ... ...... ............Well, while I'm at it, then. T-That is n-not me!!! Don't tell Papa Erik...
  7. Their preparation had finished rather quickly, her father having sent along 10 men including the two that would posing as Kiht's subordinates. Both of the latter were swathed in the uniform of lowly soldiers and had been kind enough to bring along an Officer's uniform for Kiht, Siha hadn't asked where they'd got it and hoped that it wouldn't fit too ill on the other Moon sister. She herself had braided her hair until it appeared as short as possible before she wrapped a simple turban around it and donned the uniform of one of the bar maids, they had seen her face yes but she didn't plan on actually being in the serving area, instead she was tucked back in the kitchen with her back to the whole thing. She'd regrettably had to have one of her fathers men, Ricard a Highlander gentlemen, knock the proper cook unconscious and hide him away before she showed up and assured the owner that she was his replacement for the night after he took ill. A few gil in his hand had stifled arguments on the matter and she'd gone about actually working while she waited for the others despite the squirming nerves in her stomach. Only the heavy bundles in her belt kept her somewhat calm, Yuzu'ya had delivered, the smokebombs were only three in number but they'd come in handy if things got out of hand. With what little she knew of this bandit and his troupe she was extremely sure something was going to get out of hand, especially if they caught wind that something was wrong. A barking voice yelled at her to speed herself up, more orders had come in, and a quick glance was tossed over her shoulder. Perhaps they had finally arrived. With that she ducked her head and turned an ear, a silent prayer going out to the gods. Please let this work. --------- A trio would have been nearing the bar at this point, a Roegadyn the color of sea foam with black hair and stormy grey eyes, a tall Duskwight with equally dark hair but shocking fuschia eyes accented by a curling white mark, and a Moon Keeper. The two much taller men flanked the woman, walking only steps behind her, and conversed in soft tones before speaking just a little louder so the Roe, Grymdorn, could reassure the Moon Keeper woman. "Don' werry abou' a thing Lieutenant, we won' let anythin' happen to ye" he couldn't suppress the thick accent but that wouldn't be a problem if he kept his mouth shut. Which he planned on, let Ciceroix and the pretty Moon Keeper do the talking, he was much more accustomed to the breaking part of most jobs. He knew the Captain's girl hoped it wouldn't come to that but if it was up to him it would, he'd be more than happy to twist the head off the little bugger that had caused her trouble and he knew most of the others had felt the same when she'd come to them for help. Ciceroix gave the woman a reassuring smile of his own, his much more charming than the sloppy grin of his companion and his fuchsia eyes danced with delight that he was going to be in the thick of things. "What he means is, we won't let anything happen in the first place" he said silkily and would have normally patted the woman but he had more manners than that. When they'd gotten close enough both straightened their postures and looked grim, it wasn't their job to smile, it was their job to look uncomfortable at the fact that they were doing business with pirates. The Elezen almost chuckled but kept the noise to himself instead. His eyes were on the move as soon as they walked in the door, noting each patron to size them up, at the very least he was glad soldiers were armed, it was a good reason to have a sword at his hip...nevermind the knives hidden under his clothes and the axe he knew had been tucked away in the back for Grymn. Now where were their hosts~
  8. Siha watched the pair warily for a moment and then cleared her throat, turning her attention back to gathering up the clothes strewn about from the bag and shoving them back in. She'd gotten what she wanted and she held it up before wincing, it wasn't bad, it would be easy to move in and that's what mattered. Clio's question made her ear twist back towards them and Kiht's humor tinted words eased some of the tension squeezing her stomach, "As soon as we need them they'll come, they're waiting now actually, it will only take a call. They...already had their hands on some Flames uniforms..." in fact they'd had a lot of things she didn't want to know about, for one reason or another. "Two of their best will be accompanying Kiht, both hard to recognize, they try to stay low key" she explained and ducked her head, her father certainly didn't stay low key but she had faith in the two that he was sending to be the public faces. She snorted once, the two men were certainly intimidating, a Sea Wolf and Duskwight, both practiced at what they did and confident they could keep Kiht safe. She hoped their confidence wasn't misplaced, as much as Kiht jested, she really hoped any hurt could be avoided. She didn't bother to answer about the juice, she had no idea where that was or if there was any but if there wasn't...and Kiht pulled this off...she'd buy her the biggest bottle of Pineapple Juice anyone had ever seen. "I'll call them now and tell them to be ready, just give me a location to send them to" she straightened and pressed her fingers to her pearl, watching Clio expectantly. The cliffs overlooking Candlekeep would be best but she wasn't sure if the woman trusted her enough to put that much control into her hands. She knew La Noscea sure, it was her home turf...but they had no reason to trust her on that alone, clearing her throat she let a light smile grace her face. "If I could suggest perhaps a few ilms from the Cliffs overlooking the meeting place. They have a good view once we get to them, a few ilms away will let us know if they're expecting us as that would be the best place for them to set up shop if they were."
  9. Do not go AFK in Ul'dah...we will find you... :tonberry:
  10. It makes me giggle in a good way that we all want to help so much it might as well be. OH OH PICK ME PICK ME!!! :bouncy:
  11. I also would help if it's needed! 8D I have heals WHM 116, or SMN for dps at 101. ^^ I'm not as awesome as these folks but I enjoy helping too. EDIT: WE WILL GET ALL THE RPC-ERS READY.
  12. Nice Dragoon armor...I'm gonna cry...I think...
  13. Siha swept into the house, already pulling her mask from her face and dropping the sack as well as the pole she'd grabbed in a corner. She'd heard on her way up and a smile lit her face, so they were going to meet with them, it was better than no bite at all. Perhaps the Flames had paid them so well they were ready for more...but...she frowned for a moment, clearing her throat, and fixing a light smile back to her face. No, she would make sure they were cautious, they wouldn't get too comfortable and fail. Not this time. This pirate crew owed them more than one life back at this point, they owed them all of their lives back and she planned to collect she simply had to stay confident that they could. The house seemed already abuzz with activity and judging by the shouts she'd caught outside she surmised that they had already heard. "You've heard then? I caught wind myself when I took a detour..." she turned violet eyes to Kiht and gave her a reassuring look before she disappeared into the back room and went to root around in a bag she'd snapped up this morning. In it were extra sets of clothes and plenty of them, she took some time to sift through them while she let silence linger. She wasn't sure exactly what she should contribute but when nothing more was said she twisted to glance over her shoulder. "I don't think Kiht should go alone, even if Youkio doesn't go down with her someone should...if I need to get a couple of contacts to pose as footsoldiers to her I will. They wouldn't mind. As for those left over they've agreed to set up around the place and keep an eye on our...adversaries."
  14. Flirting technique...ah...just...a-ah, why are you looking at me like that? I-Is there something on my f-face? Aka, Siha's flirting technique is to not flirt at all usually? She just generally stammers and casts around for any topic of conversation that isn't flirtatious or herself!.....Or she throws boxes of cake at people, that seems to have worked once. >.>
  15. Just wanted to say that I'm definitely wanting one of those open slots. Even though we spoke in PM thought I should post here.
  16. Siha

    Kudos!

I just wanted to post a big old Kudos to Chachanji for playing one of the villains in the plot for us Red Wings, but more specifically for playing a villain that I absolutely love. I've found myself always hoping for another Captain Distract'n post or run in far more than I should! Way to go with making him very interesting and very fun!
  17. ~~~Next Day~~~ Siha had been confident enough that she could go into the city for now, she'd taken extra steps to actually cover herself this time. She'd tucked her hair under her turban securely and made sure the dark leather of the mask reached the tip of her nose, her dock working clothes getting yet another use. It was even more appropriate considering where she had gone and where she was now coming from, her first and priority visit had been her father, he could help them with whatever they'd need and she'd told Clio as much the night before. Before they rested, though it was a mostly restless night for the Keeper herself, sleep hadn't been easy to capture while she lay there and went over their plans. Yuzu'ya had been more than happy to help them, guaranteeing that he'd be able to get his hands on fireworks, smokebombs, and even some weapons though she'd fought about the latter with him briefly. He'd still insisted and so they'd have their selection of actual explosives and other more practical weapons should they need or want them. After that he'd dispersed the masses with instructions (all 11 of them), find the Jolly Rogers and indirectly let them overhear that the Flames were hunting them down for more work and with the comfort that he'd be watching for Kiht and keeping her safe. Just in case things went bad. Her own part was small for now technically, until they started moving and she moved along the docks discreetly, shouldering a fishing pole and sack as she passed the Fisher's guild. It would be a good reason to head to where they were hiding without suspicion and she made sure to tip her pole at the guards as she passed. She'd had to leave Kiht in Clio's capable hands for the meeting with her father but she was sure the Keeper woman could handle it, no matter how she felt about the plans themselves. She'd been rather mum about it all last night.
  18. Oh my goodness, your art is awesome, and that commission...I was awed by the badassery in it! *Continues staring*
  19. This idea is so awesome!!! Name: Siha Xinkei World: Balmung Character main class/job/role (Optional): White Mage (because of the edit by Zaheela I'd like to mention that I played Sage. It also fits the character. ) Cards (recommended): The Magician is perfect. Reason for Card choice (recommended): Upon reading the meaning behind the card I can't help but think it's perfect for Siha. Her life is all about making positive use of all of her power, and proving that she can make a difference if she tries. Tumblr name (optional): Right now it's Miqotemenagerie but I don't use it often! D: Screenshots!:
  20. As much as she wanted to be amused by Clio and Piper she just couldn't find the will to do it, instead her mind focused half on the conversation while the rest turned over her plans in her head. "Remember what the bandits used on us? Smoke bombs and grenades...explosions" she waved a hand, "What if we used a harmless version, smoke bombs and fireworks, it will make the Flames think someone is setting off bombs in the city but it will be safe. No one gets hurt and we get a window. I think bombs and the mention that it might be us would be enough to draw most if not all of the soldiers on duty" she explained. She winced at the end but only because it sounded much less grand now that she'd laid it out, "I'm fast enough, and I'm elusive enough I don't think they'd catch me...t-trust me" she wasn't going to let anyone else possibly get caught if it was her idea. She was much swifter and slippery than most of the Wings knew, but it wasn't their fault, those traits had been gained from her upbringing and she didn't mention it often. There was no need, and only Erik and Titor knew much about it, the former because she'd felt it was only fair once she knew his past and the latter because he had seen it. Her brow furrowed as she thought of the pair of them, wondering where they were and if they were ok, it made her teeth sink into her lip and she closed her eyes for a moment to clear the worry. A deep breath later and another determined gleam in her eye had her looking back to Clio, "I think it would work. As for the pirates here...well if Youkio knows them he can set up a meeting if not...I'm sure we can draw them out. If they're professionals they can be hired, and if they can be hired they can be found one way or another." She turned that over in her head as well, if the Flames were the ones that had hired the pirates in the first place it was possible they could use that. "It was two Lalafell and a Miqo'te actually. If Youkio can't set up the meeting, maybe we can find them another way, pass on our Flames Uniforms to Kiht and Youkio...hiding his face of course and send word through my contact here that the Flames are looking to hire their crew again since they're so satisfied with their work this time around...maybe..." she tapped her lip thoughtfully after finishing that one. It hinged on her contact actually knowing where they were which was dicey but if they frequented the decks of the city so casually they couldn't be too hard to find. Another nagging thought stuck in the back of her mind as well...what if they didn't attack them? "Or...what if we make them come to us. It's dangerous because we'd have to hint that we were here but what if we spread the rumor that the Flames aren't satisfied...that they want their money back and that they're coming after that little- ahem, after the Captain and his crew. Maybe they'd actually be willing to give up their information if they thought they were being double crossed. Pirates are fickle that way...most pirates anyways..." she lifted her head again, surprised that she could think of more than one way to deal with them. "If we could get them on our side and find out what we need to know it would be more beneficial than simply knowing and we wouldn't have another enemy breathing down our neck, no extra, needless loss of life..."
