If I could I'd like to sign up Y'hime Ashake, Y'amra Tia, and Rez Aria for the Hunter's cup, we're getting a team together most likely but if not we'd be more than happy to grab Duty Finder people! I have this marked down on my must try list, I was only recently introduced to it so I know very little but everything looks great. I like the sound of the story and the classes are definitely intriguing!

Siha's chocobo Qhota has been with her since he was a gangly little fledgling, her clan acquired him in trade with a group of bo's that they intended to trade. The little guy was a bit more clumsy than his partners and seemed to fail in training so he was labeled food, needless to say Siha's bleeding heart snatched him up and refused to give him back. Her mother relented after much whining and gave her daughter the chick, so she spent her teens growing up with him. He loves her dearly and she him. As far as personality goes he's more like a puppy than anything, friendly to just about anyone, cheerful and curious. He also has it in his head that he's a charmer when it comes to lady 'bo but that's usually not the case... The only other character I have with an IC chocobo is Ahdra and her scarlet bird she named Wasp due to his habit of pinching her as a child with his beak. He's on the larger side, intended to be a war bird, and was given to her as a gift. She rejected him at first and they had a rocky relationship but after the bird defended her at a key point in her young life she decided maybe he was alright to keep around. Now he spends his time traveling with Ahdra, harassing her unfortunate twin brother, hunting and fighting alongside his mistress.

- Did you have any of these "roleplayer crushes"? y/n, is it just me, being a creepy nugget? I most definitely have had roleplayer crushes, actually I have tons of them, but I die a little inside when I get close to talking with any of them. I'll stare awkwardly, shuffle in their direction, lift a finger to poke them AND THEN SEE THEM TALKING TO SOMEONE AND BOLT. I'm awful at actually initiating contact and I know it. - How do you handle these? Do you just send an aggressive PM/tell with things like "you, me, RP, 8PM EST"? Personally I don't, it's more 'oh well maybe we should RP sometime if I'm not being a bother' but honestly I think the aggressive approach works so much better. I am notorious (I'm sure) for being hard to get a hold of it our meeting is nebulous in nature, it works so much better when you just sit me down and tell me when we're RPing. THEN. I will listen and show up! \o/ - Stories to share? Bonus points for embarrassing things. Ahahaha, I couldn't even! - Did senpai notice you, when you started emoting at them very very loudly? I...I think so? ;A; - Just how excited do you get when plotting with these new people, and realize they love your ideas and bring even more material on the table? Extremely excited, I feel like I hyperventilate whenever I find out someone enjoys my RP and I'm over the moon when theirs brings so much to the table. Who isn't though? It's always nice to know you have something in common with the person you're RPing with or that the person you're plotting with has some amazing ideas. This has been the case every time I've plucked up the courage, we have some amazing story crafters in our community! - Did like, once, this person was actually pretty awful and you regretted everything? Happened to me more than I'd like to admit, BUT, I still keep on pushing. I wouldn't say awful but maybe once or twice. .___.

I'm not completely sure if they're still open but there's one up the way from my FC's house called the Lion's Rest Inn I believe and they definitely have inn rooms finished and such. Seemed like friendly folks when I talked to them and they're a RP bunch! Ward 4 is where they're located, in the Subdivision, if you go to the Northeast aetheryte and then up the stairs they're the second house there!

As as warning, I didn't read the whole thread, I'm terrible but I just wanted to chime in really quick! I don't tend to correct the grammar of people I RP with, I don't know if I'd say it's rude if you do though. It's all about tone and intention! If someone WERE to correct my grammar I think I'd be ok with it so long as they phrased it in a way that wasn't mean, just a, 'hey you should have ordered it like this, or, that word should actually be' whatever. If you're nice, I think it's ok. But like some have said, it would be best done to people that you know. I personally don't do it but that's because I know that sometimes my grammar is terrible despite my best efforts and even taking courses on it. For some reason I will sometimes arrange my words in an order that doesn't make sense, and I know it as soon as I do it. More often than not though I comment on it myself so I do their job before they do. As an aside, going back to words people use wrong, it ABSOLUTELY drives me INSANE when people use weary and they mean wary. I see it all the time. I don't even point it out but it makes me grit my teeth and flinch like someone smacked me. I don't know why.

I'm echoing this right here because these are seriously my hardest obstacles when it comes to RPing with others. I just don't feel like I'm interesting enough with my characters. The only other thing I can think of isssss... I psych myself out hardcore when it comes to anyone that I've heard a lot about, or even seen them post a lot on the forums, no matter who it is. I once randomly ran into someone in a dungeon from here, that I knew tanked but who was DPSing at the time while I tanked, and nearly had a breakdown because I was so frightened that they weren't going to like me (they were nice the whole time, even though I never said who I was. ). It happens the same way in RP. And 10/10 times you all are wonderful and really nice, I know this, but still doesn't stop me from skittering the hell away. I wish I didn't do that.

I did not read everything, though I tried! And I'm not sure if this is super helpful BUT...also I'm spoilering because I'm not sure what is considered spoilers technically, it comes from the AST quests. Edit: I found the actual game text and SS'd it for everyone! Just so you know I'm not pulling it out of nowhere.

I can say that the Collector's stuff does not give XP bonuses, nor does it even have stats on it. It's just for glamour at the moment. Sorry Chacha. D:

Personally I don't, I'm really looking for some combat which a lot might be with the whole theme of Ishgard right now! BUT that being said, there has to be non combatants and definitely will be I'm sure, everyone has families and they can't all be fighters! Well...not yet. Who knows, maybe that's a requirement due to how strenuous the war is. (That's mostly a joke. I'm not good at lore. Don't bite me. D:) Plus there are a lot of wonderful people on this forum that really like to explore the more 'mundane' rolls, which aren't really mundane at all in most cases, and they make them great. So if people intend to, I can't wait to see what they do with it. It's a good question though! I look forward to reading responses!
