Unfortunately with the MMO nature of the game, we won't be getting a concrete time passage for the events of 2.0 onward. We've only been told that it was probably a sennight or a fortnight (one week or two weeks = 8 to 16 days) max for 2.55-> 3.0 Any real times are estimates within the time bubble.

And here is some other conjecture brought up about archons. That doesn't say anything about excluding them from being aspects of the Twelve, it just says they're accurate doompreppers. This is what makes it so hard to lorecheck the ambiguous stuff: even the clarifications aren't clear. It doesn't exclude them from it but you are not confined to them. Don't see the problem with pointing that out when people seem to want to make it seem that way. We forget all too well that there's a lot of faith checking done with lore in this game when you take an NPC's 'word'. They've admitted more than a few times that Word of God is really Word of God because they may want to mislead us. NPCs aren't all-knowing. Word of God is.

Except, Fernehalwes has made a statement about Archons before at the Fanfest Lore Panel explaining that the Archons aren't these mystified manifestations of beyond-man. And here is some other conjecture brought up about archons.

Basically, the only reason why we might think this has any bearing on FFXIV is because of Yoshi-P's appearance on a livestream for PSO2's announcements. All of this news is for PSO2 until we get a patch where a PSO2-related item is datamined or that it is announced (like say the next Live Letter this weekend). It's all conjecture and theorizing at the moment. Not sure I would really call this news until some type of announcement is made but considering that NA audiences never actually got to see an official PSO2 release, it feels like a slap in the face and that we may never even see the PSO2 items in a worldwide release.

As a WAR, can confirm that while initially it goes to the healer, an extra Overpower or two will just mean you have it. It might chew on the healer once or twice but that's what happens when you let HoTs generate enmity lol Mind you this works on most new adds etc but if you use a -big- one, at level in some raids your healer may die. I think I mentioned it before but last week I was clenching my buttcheeks so hard because we were at 1% with the last add when he dropped and the other tank eventually dropped and I had to pick him up. Cry of relief and also trepidation when we killed him and moved on. The rest was normal. All my abandons (2, 3 max?) were in A8 where some tanks will insist on not switching when their healers are clearly not prepared and then say "this is why we dont tank swap" or nevermind how one DPS was DC'd for the whole fight. I always check for HoT buffs, the problem is when you've just thrown a shield/axe/weDRKdoes or Voke for a controlled long range pull and you get a Regen on. An Extra Overpower takes care of that. Or I start making smaller pulls

Current meta is that since STR and VIT's contribution towards Attack power are both 0.45, you need less 'good' secondaries than before to make up for the loss in AP from your main stat loss. However it's a bit minimal. Full VIT will still be better than Full STR but if you mix in something like a CRIT/DET STR Accessory over a ACC/Parry VIT accessory you may get better results. I know some people were already getting shit for still having some STR accessories. You do however -definitely- want your 35 points in VIT. Bad players who only follow "well these people say it's better" and don't play well are the bane of all players, especially when they are a bad tank and have no idea how to hold aggro even at full VIT and never leaving tank stance. Edit: I'm more concerned if whether or not this means that when I have 28k HP that the healer will notice that I'm not able to keep my HP up as much as before with a near 20% loss in damage.

Well it's not an achievement. As you can see with the Ultima Roll, it would be listed. I'm pretty sure it would be listed if it directly dropped in a chest (as the faded copies do as well as allagan aetherstones). Also, it -should- be listed somehow if it was like Ifrit's Horn.

I uh... stopped playing over a year ago in pvp cause the queue times for me got insane. Then the one time I got a queue I got reamed on when I said I didn't know how to do one of the new types of frontlines? Several of us in one alliance said we didn't know what to do. Go where? Etc. Nothing was said except 'you dumb fuckers costing us the game. why the fuck aren't you doing this shit right.' /shrug I tried and died a bunch of times ;
