  3. One of the Donation prizes for the FFVI block is a delivery moogle plush (i think it's just the plush no minion code)
  4. Essentia. I did not want you to sing Undertale. T_T
  5. Die Hard FF was the best thing I'd ever seen that one year. (Slight exaggeration) It's so fun to learn things that you can do without frame perfect inputs and such. Things that will just optimize how much fun you can have. Also, I only just now realized wtf was up with BUTTS BUTTS BUTTS BUTTS BUTTS
  6. Speedruns are so fucking entertaining. It's not just about completely breaking the game. ... Always.
  7. JEFF JEFF JEFF JEFF JEFF JEFF JEFF Um. I need to not make this a low quality post Somehow. Jeff poisoned and everyone dead sounds very promising. Edit: HOLY FUCKING SHIT
  8. IT IS EARTHBOUND TIME!!!!!! -screeches-
  9. Something to note is that in the Live Letters they haven't mentioned "Ishgard Wards" since about the November Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XXIV if we look purely at the digests. Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XXIII Q: I really love the scenery in the new areas. Do you have plans to introduce a housing ward in Ishgard? A: We’ll first implement a feature to automatically relinquish unused houses in order to increase the availability of land. In parallel, we’re also working on quality of life improvements for the extended wards. Once these are complete, we’re move onto optimizing the servers so we can increase the amount of furnishings that can be placed in houses. Without taking care of these first, players won’t be able to transfer their houses without relinquishing their existing house first, and this also creates a situation where it leaves an unused house. We'll be progressing with this one step at a time, and will be gradually applying changes from Patch 3.1 onwards. The Dragonsong War hasn't ended yet, so it’ll take some time before we can add a housing ward in Ishgard. Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XXIV Q: Are you planning to expand housing in the future? I’d really like to enjoy the content geared towards players with houses such as company crafting and expeditionary voyages. A: I mentioned this before, but we’d first like to get rid of the houses that are no longer being used by players and we’re currently working towards freeing up land in this way. We’re planning to add this feature in Patch 3.1, so we’d like players to build their houses on the newly freed up land. As a next step, we’ll be making a feature that allows you to move locations, and we’re looking into either increasing the amount of land or creating a housing area in Ishgard around the same time this feature is ready. Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XXVI Q: Auto-reclamation for housing starts this month, but can you tell us if there will be any future additions of plots?. A: We'll be increasing the number of plots for existing housing areas in Patch 3.3. After we expand those areas, we'll add apartment-style housing in Ishgard areas afterwards, starting with one apartment-style building which will hold about 512 residences. We’re also planning to make chocobo stables available for use to residents of apartment-style housing. Gardening patches are still proving somewhat difficult, but we’re currently developing new ā€œplanter potsā€ that will allow gardening. As per demand, we are also looking into the prospect of increasing the number of indoor furnishings which can be placed in residences. Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XXVIII Q: The number of members in my free company have increased, so I've been thinking about buying a new L-size house, but I'm wondering if I should wait for the moving system. Could you tell us about this feature and when we will see it in game? A:Just as I mentioned on a previous occasion, we'll be adding land in Patch 3.3, and we're aiming to have apartment-style housing in Patch 3.4. The moving feature will come after that. As part of our future plans, we'll be making enhancements to our current server structure to support things like housing and expansions to the Armoury Chest. It's possible they don't have plans for Ishgard Wards or... backburner.... or whatever. It hasn't been mentioned in the Live Letter Digests since November 2015.
  10. Something like that. I have somewhere between just less than half or more than half of what's needed so I can try to upgrade my FC's plot but I don't have all of it quite yet and I dunno if we'd come up with all of them plus being able to let the plot we currently have go to get it. blerghhhh FC leader telling me not to worry and just think about it later but I fucking love my FC and want to get them a nicer plot but berhhghgj
  11. They're actually -lowering- the prices. That's all my brain will engage with atm
  12. This year's marathon reminded me of one of the reasons why I watch. Not just the gamers and their families who support them and the causes but also the enthusiasm for some of the games they play. I was watching the Youkai Watch stream and it thoroughly woke me up when I was getting bored of FFXIV. I'd known about the series a bit (hard not to when you've watched a few of the series and seen some of the games by Level-5) but I was watching the battles which seem... fairly fast-paced? Like, that's a shitton of inputs to have to deal with, too much for me to handle anyway. Their seemingly seamless transitions from main attackers to back-row youkai were just beautiful to watch. And having to do mini-game type of shit while battling? What the fuck?! And having all that fucking adrenaline while also GOTTA GO FAST (ER) shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. So impressed by Youkai watch the game and its runners. Also, SEIKEN DENSETSU 3 WHY YOU GOTTA END WHILE I'M AT WORK?
  13. So I totally lost track of the Sun and Moon thread. but uh. I want that sunlion looking legendary. And I want both the tree owl and the fire cat
  14. I can't watch so much good shit while at work
  15. Don't get me wrong, Anime Expo is really fun but the energy is too much for me. It exhausts me pretty fast and so I think I exhausted myself of it when I actually decided to go for more than one day ; By the way, Nickel Diner is amaze. http://www.yelp.com/biz/nickel-diner-los-angeles-2
  16. Time for regular purchasing of t-shirts from The Yetee.
  17. 1:00 AM Seiken Densetsu 3 FUCKING WHY 3:00 PM EarthBound Awesome 3:40 PM Final Fantasy VI 06:00:00 Glitchless Any% puwexil, Essentia YESSSSSSSS PUWEXIL AND ESSENTIA!!! 9:40 PM Chrono Cross 07:40:00 Any% Good Ending I know what i'm doing friday night to saturday morning. NOT SLEEPING
  18. Well... we skipped a year. Or two. Or then we got a day pass or exhibit hall pass. I almost sorta regret not going to last year's because Uchikoshi showed up and announced Zero Time Dilemma (Zero Escape 3). Instead I just hyped it up by refreshing neogaf and the subreddit in Little Tokyo. I mean I may go if I find out friends from out of state go but I generally skip out on Anime Expo itself now. I don't spend much time going around the hall or to panels, when I go to Exhibit Hall I check out my friends' booths in artist alley or check if there's some odd manga I haven't been able to purchase online. But almost all the time I find a hallway with an outlet, hook up the Karma or Wifi hotspot of choice and play FFXIV. Then find food. AX is "Find friends. Say hi. Check out Exhibit Hall. Sit in hallways. Eat with friends. Sit in hallways. Eat FUCKING BOMB AYCE KOREAN BBQ WITH FRIENDS. Go home."
  19. My heart is breaking...! Unless we were Double Dragon MNKing it up and I was handling it, ID call that dude out. Then again, I've had runs where I/an FC mate has been kicked for stuff as innocent as asking the other DPS to use more AoEs, and it's infuriating. Pugs are simply not trustworthy enough to be worth the effort. When I MNK for things, especially duty roulettes, it makes me cry inside when other Melee absolutely refuse to AOE T_T
  20. I noticed there is a slight graphics bugs? I only see my thread buttttt it might display someone else's icon in Last Post. For example, my test thread has you as the last post but it's not your icon.
  21. I'm not surprised. President Hino, CEO and President of Level-5 (Developer and Publisher of Youkai Watch) has been to FATEs and has joined in gameplay before. (if i remember correctly he plays a lalafell with all classes/jobs max one of the times he appeared). Hell one of the fates had him bring artwork of the Youkai Watch characters in Ironworks gear with a Lion+* mount. Actually, if I remember correctly some of the minions were datamined awhile ago.

  23. Wow, I didn't know that, thanks for the heads up! It's more than just USB headset. FFXIV does not handle audio devices being changed at all. So if you normally switch between saw, speakers, HDMI, a headset, or anything else, you'd need to use a virtual audio adapter to pipe the sound to the right device because switching it in Windows won't work if the game's running. If you plan on using the headset as your -only- source for audio, then you'll have no issues. I mean, my audio jack on the top of the tower I use may be wired oddly but for awhile I had a headset that was able to just be plug and play without anything. So I'm pretty sure there's more to it but my brain is fried.
  24. Yeah I found that out when I got a Logitech G930 after having had one that was wired with a 3.5mm jack. It was a real pain until I was referred to Voicemeter and got that working. Though, I think Virella's suggestion about a SteelSeries headset isn't bad. I've seen a few gamers on Twitch like the Siberia line. I'd consider one of those if I wasn't still using my Logitech headset.
  25. If you end up getting a usb headset, just know that FFXIV doesn't let your arbitrarily plug in your headset. If you don't use an audio program like voicemeter, FFXIV will require you to relogin. If you start without headphones, start the game, plug in your headphones, the sound will still be from speakers and not in your headphones. If you start with headphones and end up taking out during play you will need to relogin for the sound to switch over.
