[Host Club trading cards!] - Retired Promotion
Jancis replied to xelliexell's topic in Chronicled Connections
Jancis would find an Eden card. ♥ Upon her regular patrols through La Noscea and the farmers at Summerford, one of the children with a broken arm gifted the conjurer with the collectible. The rascal wouldn't explain where it came from, but she accepted the gift graciously of the lovely lady. Little did she know it was getting rid of evidence that the boy's father brought back a souvenir that was gathered and, with the ex-sailor looking for it, the kid thought of no better place to get rid of the evidence that he swiped it. I mean, even if his pa saw it in the healer's hands, what was he going to say about it? -

Had a wonderful time! Thanks to Nathan for putting it together with Ciel. It was cute how the two would talk one after another. Also that duet! Wow! I got some screenshots while playing with the idle camera that I'll try to get up later. (Christmas magic making is taking up some time  so it's not up now) Thanks again for having me with! -

Randoms Fishing with friends: Aiswynd, Leanne, Barengar, Chachanji (also Aiswynd's friend but I lost the name) “Sir Mynhier gave her to me. For, ah, for eating pie.” “Or rather, the cat ate her prize. And technically has become the prize.” “Oh?” “Figure that’s about right.” “At the Festival Master Telluride called me Pie-Bane.. Kuchen here is my ah… Pie… ah… pie…” “Pie-rize?” Scene with Barengar talking about someone giving him troubles (that's not Jancis surprisingly, lalala). “Figure he’s proven well enough that he ain’t messin’ around when it comes ta his ability ta skulk unseen. Figure there ain’t anythin’ we can do ta ensure that he ain’t followin’ us. Figure best ya can do is give the pluck a suggestion and see how he responds.” “All right. Shall suggest the Wench as he is suppose to be staying near. I will do what I can if he finds me otherwise.” “If he comes up on ya unexpectedly, do whatever ya gotta ta make space between you and him. I ain’t about ta let him have any more of a jump on us than he’s already got.” Coral's Date Auction - which... was food... and turned out no one bought anything anyway.

On a cold night in Coerthas, Coatleque came upon a mysterious warrior who gave no name. Trapped and put into duress by the dark and loathsome stranger, she was given a journal from one Gharen.

Randoms Franz, Locke, and Jancis after Clio's Drinking contest - Locke won and forgot his coat. “You are still a hero, even in rest.” “I think you’re the only one to think of me that way.” Fun at the Celebration of the First Snow - gpose is awesome, particularly when Barengar hasn't done any emotes. Milly Red... it's cold. With Vaughn, Barengar, Chachanji, Leanne, and friends! (Like Ciel and Jonathan looking at each other back there) "♪Come to my arms… come… come and let me embrace the snow."

Jancis sat at Ryanti’s bedside, watching him sleep. She took a slow deep breath. What she had seen was much different and for all accounts the healer had some confidence in knowing voices. Something survived inside of him, causing the odd veins to appear on the fighter’s skin and through his eye. The feeling in her heart was right, to meet up with him while travelling for the state the half-miqo’te was poor. She didn’t know how he could manage walking on his knee for so long; the tolerance of pain extreme. Doing what she could at the time to reduce the swelling and give it a chance to start repairing the strains on it, it would still take a fortnight to properly heal, much of her concentration had to go into the odd voices that he shared with her unwillingly. What were they? Not corrupted, at least at first impression (but such things were treacherous and know for deceit) or elemental. Like another life within a host, a leech of sorts. It had heard her and stopped when she asked, more to her surprise. Heading back outside the farmers, travelling merchants, and passengers looked at her. Many saw the seen of them on the hillside sitting, her telling the man how could he not see he was in pain. Demanding for it to stop then carrying him back with an arm over the midlander’s shoulder. Word would spread of the peculiar public display. She gathered up their belongings she had left outside the hostel while getting him back to bed for rest, and took out some parchment to write. She could possibly miss meeting up the mysterious Engelbert; it was a hard choice. While Engelbert showed he could be a threat, he hadn’t caused harm to Barengar or anyone else she knew of. Ryanti was wounded and struggling to recover. Her heart ached knowing the right choice, and wrote the Ala Mhigan. Sending the letter off, she sat down once more on the corner of the man’s bed, looking over his face as the midday became evening. “Precious” she repeated quietly. “ Of all possessions a friend is the most precious.”

balmung Starlight Celebration Secret Gift Exchange!
Jancis replied to RiniKett's topic in Chronicled Events
This is a very sweet idea and also a lot of work! Another note on mailing, the inbox is limited to how many it'll have unopened and that amount is even smaller for letters that have attachments. ((I don't know the exact amount; I just remember it happening before)) Is there maybe a "drop off" availability for people to stop by and participate if they have similar game times to not clog up the works? -
More randoms Aged, but checking over shoulder recovery for Barengar. “Ya got a fair bit more on yer head than yer tie lets on.” Travelling in Coerthas to touch base after threats on a compromised linkpearl. Bacchus Shots with Lady Flower, who got drunk and needed a doctor. "I want you to keep an eye on Mister Armsbreaker. I am no longer able to do so without feeling pain in my heart..." “...He doesn’t feel strongly for me… not anymore. He doesn’t smile at me or touch me as he once did."

~*~Randoms ((Also I'll try to be cool like Roen and Osric with some quotes.~*~ Healing some of Barengar's wounds after having a friendly fistfight with Berrod. Barry vs Berry?! “Got inta a fist fight.” “Is it resolved?” “I ain’t so sure it is.” “Who is it? I will speak to them and make it so.” “Berrod Armstrong.” “That is different.” “That so, eh?” “Yes. He does not fight out of spite. Or petty things.” “He must see a lot in you.” “Well ain’t that just great.” Aged scene with Gareth Evershield and the Desert Rose with friends. Sitting with Locke and Ilwe'ran Random Jancis!

Yes? Part of shipping is the launch, watching it sail, raging as it sinks in flames. The hell? Stay away from my ship! Had to bring up Jancis you attention monger. Also I want to see this art of Franz and who has won his heart. Not the delusion of this so-called wife and so-called daughter (kidding). Actually fun fact, the other day while checking out Franz's new adult-friendly story, the two people viewing it, Edda and I, surely support that. Or Franz drowning. One of the two. Whatever enjoy your romantic breakfast. Also I know a certain Sultansworn that was given a certain journal of a certain amazing guy ///// that says a certain something about her. Send out the search ships! Bring him back alive! Also please after a near-death encounter maybe a night of crazy unabashed passion which results in let's say... Floren.

Holy Work Batman! Honestly having Judge follow the line makes such a difference in following along, but still the introductions go fast, so Warren must be going nuts at the start. I always pay attention to the linkshell if things are short-handed, like Franz said it's a lot to keep up with and I'm not as awesome to manage it each week as Jancis so well. Usually I do a run by to see how many people are on the rock. But I think I can handle overseeing and yelling as much as throwing elixirs and amazing conjury powers at people. ((Especially since last weekend I got a sneak peek on some of the tactics used to help keep track.)) There was some talk in a RP linkshell about friends staying together and (in the past) how the group was more close-knit, obviously, because it was a SIXTH to a THIRD of the size. :dazed: The areas sound like a great idea, could I ask how matches are typically set up? Guess I'm asking if there's a way to 'trick the system' to keep friends together since people will be futher apart out of necessity. -
[[Letter sent by courier to Coerthas, stopping at each town in-between Foundation.]] Dear Cici, Life feels quiet of late. I looked upon the pearls on my ear and found many of them are no longer used. I am understanding more and more the term old is used for. Dare it seems used poorly to describe things that are abandoned and not maintained, instead of what I originally thought as something that has standed by Althyk's side where others could not, and survived long to be appreciated. I feel myself seeing that as those who are old friends. While the term should be one of fondness, maybe underlying it are the failures of communication and contact I have not given it. We are not old friends, right? The subject of pearls, there is one that eludes me. Ever since that Ruby group you helped thwart, Barengar's daily musings have been gone from me, which I find to be over the moons a deafening silence. My attempts to acquire a set that would dissuade his concerns have all failed. My words on the matter I know have not been taken in vain by him, yet still I see it does not trouble him as much as it does myself. I am grateful for that; though deep in my heart I would prefer he felt more as I did. At this time he said he put it on a buying list. What a curious way to think about it. It is kind of cute; written wishes and tasks. and I am upon it. I wrote Lady Edda a fortnight ago, not that I expected a reply, to trust you. I more tell you because of Lord Taeros and this engagement. Lady Leanne is displeased by it, and I find her reasons valid. Hopefully you have found time to meet Lady Edda more in person and see what I do in her. She reminds you of myself in ways, no? I have no doubt you both must be so close even if only short in one another's company. But the concern comes from her father and whatever his intentions are in this union. I do not want you to feel as you once did; in men who fail to value and return what love you give. Cici, you must needs find what shackles they are both under. I know you can; you see them so well. There was a Celebration of the First Snow by the Fury's stone. I was hoping to find you; Master Telluride caught word of an audition I was in. The song I wrote myself, surely to the chagrin of truly talented bards present. Thaliak only knows how they weave words so beautifully. You will be around for Starlight? You must. I miss you. I eagerly await your reply. Be safe until I see you once more. Jancis
