Any time I speak of crafting it's to craft. I mean, it's nice for non-crafters if they know folks but it's just giving more shit to crafters who already have a ton of cash to do (and thus could reach that level a lot easier) than those who don't. It also doesn't address that specialization is a complete dud except for the 4 required for the relic. Also doesn't change that if you're not raiding at a high level/crafting at a high level, the updates aren't for you. 2 more dungeons is cool, but that's still only 6 dungeons... 2 patches in.

Also if you didn't ask for character I'd have a better answer for you.

After reading through all of that, I as someone who does a ton of crafting want to flip off the dev team for absolutely ignoring crafting in both 3.2 and what's planned for 3.3. "Oh btw we are planning on making crafting equipment strong" k that's great but some of us don't have billions of gil to spend on crafting. Oh yeah I forgot the mentality of the dev team for that - Go fuck yourselves until 3.5 MAYBE. So essentially - if you're not running savage, if you're not a rich crafter, there's nothing on the horizon for you. That is absolutely fucking amazing. I wish there was a place where I could accurately communicate the level of contempt I have for them right now. The official forums being the official forums, I don't think I'd get through the second paragraph before being banned for profanity. They also didn't address how specialization serves absolutely no purpose other than to craft Relic items (which are limited to specialized folks - which bites anyone who didn't specialize in the 4 items in the ass SEVERELY) because the skills they give you are so random that it's been determined it's better to just omnicraft to get the 50 skills and ignore specialization altogether.

So we will bust our asses to finish a 210 weapon that will be immediately outclassed by 3.2, and won't see upgrades to it until 3.3. Th-thanks...? Square's been striking out since HW released, gat damn.

The FATE grinding is the most tolerable aspect of this to me. The ability to level other classes through it and get stuff for your main is a godsend for what I need to do on Kell. Less so for people who are interested in playing one single class.

Mime as in the actual job mime or Mime as in actual street performing mime? Cause if first, then that is nifty! Actual "Replace Attack With Mimic" job. But that is still a work in progress.

I have a legitimate question here. Are you capped at 3 crystals per quest or can you keep accumulating so long as you keep FATEing?

That people look at the various things that compose the character as being far too out there or outright special snowflake to warrant ever interacting with him. I mean look at this. - Effeminate looking Midlander with pink highlights with an inclination to showing hella skin. - RP job doesn't exist in-game (Mime) - Doesn't come from Eorzea or any of the known continents - Has a part-time job as a postmoogle And that's scratching the bullshit surface. That people go out of their way to avoid my character when I can actually show up at events. That most everyone'd rather stab their eyes out with a fork than deal with me OOC to set up anything.

Hell, you can even change the meaning if you're so inclined. A Miqo tribe that has a charging animal as an letter could forehead boop as an attack or a challenge.

Only Miqo'tes deny that they are actually cats. Top academics from the entire realm have studied the link between cats and Miqo'tes and keep finding new ancestral links between cats and Miqo'tes. That being said, ancestral link does not mean "clearly a cat". * * * In so far as forehead boopage is concerned, I'd say it'd be more of a regional/tribal thing. Like a certain region with different tribes did that, or it was related to a particular tribe, one that is likely closer to cats as their letter animal. I'd say a subsection of the Coeurl tribe maybe?

HW has been pretty much "pointless end-game : the mmo" though.

I'd debate that Warrior was never angry axe guy, and that they essentially put Berserker into Warrior because otherwise the class would have no flavor.
