Dear i130 DPS in ST: Your gear looks awesome! I admire your crazy damage! I’m sure we’re all amused by how you can rip aggro straight off the i87 warrior in your group with little effort. However, if you decide to vigorously stroke your e-peen by dropping your load at the very start of fights so that you can purposefully tank bosses while the significantly less-geared tanks scramble to get control of everything - I will just stand back and LET YOU DIE EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Love Tiergan.

Like someone mentioned, I feel like races who have spent most of their life in the cities would be more likely to go for the whole cross-clan thing. After all, once you've urbanized, a lot of traditions that might have held you back before go out the window, which is how F'lhaminn might have come to be - she DEFINITELY seemed like an urban kitty.

Some more things I forgot! 1) It seems a spirit and will be wandering around Ul'dah tomorrow at 3PM EST. Perhaps you'd want to swing by and see about their Terrible Fate. :3c 2) Help Me Find You. ;A; For the past two weeks (or more in some cases!), I’ve been trying to hunt down people to friend-list them for my plot, but I just can’t manage to be online at the same time. The size of everything is also getting a little big, so if I can’t hunt these people down soon, I might just drop them from the list to make things easier on myself. A couple of folks have asked, so I thought I would clarify: The Sisters of the Red Lotus aren't super-duper secretive in the sense that you can't send them mail or ask to arrange a meeting. ;3c (You'll just uh, have to deal with me using one of my alts if you end up wanting to meet with one of them or one of the Brothers of the Red Lotus.)

Just a quick heads up! To make it easier for me to keep up with everyone, if you wrote something in the Sisters of the Red Lotus thread that requires me to give you some clues on what's going on (like your character is inquiring about the Sisters with an NPC or is experimenting on the stone) -- feel free to send me a quick PM with a link to your post so I definitely know it's there and can respond. :> I don't want to accidentally miss stuff!

The gem reacted glinted brightly at the sudden flow of aether, but instead of absorbing it, -- the stone greedily flowed about the sudden surge of energy, lapping eagerly across it in a way that didn't harm, take, or interfere with what she was doing. It was clear the stone was taking advantage of this increased well of aether -- but not to take. It was doing something else.

In interests of making sure I don't bite off WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more than I can chew (which uh, possibly already happened :V) - I'm now putting the list on lockdown. As requested: If you'd like to post excepts/scenes of what your character does with the Mysterious Gemstones™ from your Mysterious Mail and you don't mind it all being public, feel free to post it here. I will can also respond with what your character discovers in this thread as well, unless you specifically request in your post that I respond privately. ------------------------------------- Just as a reminder, if you got the Mysterious Mail™ and character can detect aether or does something other than simply keep the gemstone as a good luck charm, poke me I can tell you what happens! You can also have your character pass the gemstone to a friend to have THEM study it and direct them to me to ask me OOC what your friend would learn. If you have friends who are information brokers, spies, or otherwise extremely well connected and might know about secretive organisations, you can also point them my way to and I can tell them what they might know of the Sisters of the Red Lotus. Otherwise, you can literally have your character do whatever they would naturally do, including pawn the gemstone off or toss it off a bridge. It won't affect things either way!

Sure! That would also help me keep track of it too! I will create it in a bit.

To those sending me PMs telling me about what your characters are doing with the stone, where they're taking them, and what might happen as a result -- keep them coming! Don't be shy! I will answer every question and will describe every single aspect of the stone, the letter, etc that your character might be looking into so that you know what your character discovers.

Until I can figure out how to fix that poll, feel free to vote on anything that is not M-F, Afternoon option! O/ M-F, Evenings are okayish, but they're more like 10PM-1AM EST instead of 6PM-1AM EST, which I know is kind of a butt for anything event-ish.

I don't think there are enough words to accurately describe how bad I want lalafells to be able to ride on the shoulders of taller races. :V

This. I fully understand RPing your character arching a brow at someone riding something other than a chocobo around. Tiergan would be arching a brow too and wondering where the heck they got [x] beastie. All of my characters ride chocobos - seeing someone cruise by on a bomb chariot or a horse or a bear would make them boggle like nobody's business. That said, I personally find it a little disheartening that something like someone riding a horse (not Odin's horse, but just a regular warhorse) or a drake, or a coeurl, a lion, or magitek armor is something that people would consider immersion breaking considering what regularly goes on in the world of the FFXIV universe. To me, if everyone is riding standard yellow chocobos IC - it's boring. The variety and differences are what make RP fun. As long as people spin it in a way that doesn't break the lore, and give things some thought to really craft a great story - I feel it just spices things up and keeps things interesting.

I have started (very slowly), to roll things forward a little. I've also updated my list. The people at the very top of it should have gotten Mysterious Mail in game. If your character can detect aether, message me back in game to let me know! If your character can't detect aether, but wants to do other things/research stuff with or about the token they receive or the individuals that sent it, feel free to let me know and I can tell you what happens! Additionally, if your character has friends who are good at detecting aether/knowing about mysterious organisations, you can point them my way and I'll tell them what they might learn. All of that said, please do whatever the heck you want with the item. Your character can hold onto it, lock it up somewhere, sell it, toss it into the ocean, etc! I will roll with whatever you do. Folks in the middle list, I still have to find you and friend-list you so I can mail you stuff. :V I am extra sorry if you're in my FC and I am a huge dumbass. Herpderp, I will get you as soon as I see you in game. Folks at the bottom list - you still gotta give me yer 5 items/objects. I've listed who has what so far, so it would be best if you pick things someone doesn't have yet! o/ I forgot to add - if you want to change your representative animal/object that you wound up with, please feel free to let me know!

I FINALLY HAVE A ROOM YEAAAAH! My FC is the best and I wouldn't have such an awesome room if so many of the folks there weren't so fantastic and helped me make it less sad looking. It used to look like a dungeon. Also, if you're squinting at these screenshots going "PARTS OF THIS LOOK REALLY FAMILIAR." it's because I literally ran around taking screenshots of rooms and houses I liked to steal ideas. :V
