  1. Titor has the frontlines Flames horse IC. I say it was given to him as a gift for outstanding service to the Flames.
  2. Relic Weapons are not needed to clear any endgame raid content, if that has any weight to you. The whole grind is not worth it to me to get an extra stat point over the best non-relic weapon. It is a stupidly long grind.
  3. Titor had been listening intently for any information that he might have been given about his surroundings or captors, but they had made it quite the point to keep it quiet. He had gotten nothing. When the men arrived, Titor kept his calm demeanor. While he may have been afraid, yes, he had been trained for such things. His connection to the Flames went much deeper than the Red Wings even knew about. "Greetings, Sir Alec." Titor said, sitting up the best that he could. He forced a bit of a smile back before shaking his head slightly. "I wish to make the right choice of deciding whom is in the right for Ul'dah." he said, refusing the wine. "I am not the best at holding alcohol, unfortunately, and not in any of the ways that would be helpful for either you or I. In fact, it is quite the opposite." He tried to chuckle slightly, before trying to turn the situation around to the point that he were asking the man questions. "Of course, first off I would like to know the full list of charges of which I and the Red Wings are accused of." He said calmly. While he pretty much knew the answer, he wanted to know exactly, down to the last detail, what the accusations were. Perhaps some information would be revealed through such means.
  4. Titor would have quickly been taken out by the blow to the head. Once he awoke, he looked around, trying to take in his surroundings. He subconsciously put his hand over his leg, only to be a bit surprised to see it healed. His head was pounding a good one though from the blow. He definitely did not have the thickest skull of the Red Wings. It took a bit for him to regain his full mental state, the shot, the head blow, and the suddenness of the situation had caused quite a bit of disorientation. He knew he was captured though, that much was clear. And then it all started to come back to him. Just how time-sensitive was this operation? Either way, he needed to find out who was in the right and fast, before any serious damage could be done to Ul'dah. A part of him told him to call out to see if anyone was there. His body told him not to, because anyone who would come in sight probably was not going to have the best ideas of what to do with him next. He suppressed a groan, rubbing the back of his head with as little movement and noise he could make.
  5. Titor was captured without any resistance as to the soldiers shackling him. When he was brought to his feet, his gaze flickered from the people moving around him, to his bleeding leg. His leg was bleeding fairly good, a bit more than would be normal for a hyur due to his anemia. Nevertheless, he was not too set on healing it at the moment. Titor's mismatched eyes met the mismatched eyes of A'trus. They looked around occasionally in thought as he was taking in the information that was being given to him. Titor had followed Erik, quite blindly actually. He never did a full background check, nor even tried to pry into his items. Maybe the Red Wings were really in the wrong here. His loyalty was to the Flames. To Ul'dah. To the people. He wanted to do what was right. If Erik had mislead the other Red Wings and was knowingly doing illicit activities and trying to harm others, Titor would tell them everything he knew. However, if these Black Chains were the ones doing illicit activities, he would tell them nothing. Nothing at all. For now, he was not sure who was the right, and who was the wrong. "My Loyalty is to the Immortal Flames, to Ul'dah and Her people." He said in an unwavering tone. "I shall find out whether it is you or my Unit whose intentions are pure. Any interrogation that happens will be just as much for you than it is for me, even if you do not think it will be." With that he averted his gaze to the ground, remaining silent after that.
  6. Titor glanced up at the soldier above him from behind his cowl. He heard more soldiers approaching. If this man were lying, and they were not actually from the Flames, he had no chance at resistance anyway. If they were from the Flames, his loyalty lie with them, and he would willingly follow them. Either way, this was a heavily one-sided fight, and he was not entirely sure if his assailant's motives were pure and lawful, in the end, they could be enemy double-agents with the nerve to try to take out the elite spy force of the Flames. Titor would comply for now, but not speak more or reveal any further information until he knew exactly whether these soldiers were in the wrong, or if it were indeed the Red Wings. Titor rolled over in the sand, dissipating his geometry without ever fully constructing the barrier. He was careful to try to not get sand in his wound, but in the middle of the desert and on the ground that was futile. Sand was everywhere at this point from wallowing around on the ground. In his eyes, in his mouth, nose, in his wound. He placed his hands on the ground and remains silent.
  7. The shot would have hit its mark with near-preceicion. Embedding itself just above the knee, not hitting the joint directly on, the wound was enough to temporarily cripple him. Titor dropped his satchel with a muffled yelp. He had no time to scan the area or get a glimpse of his attackers, but went to dodge for cover, dragging himself along the ground and digging into the dirt with his one good leg. His teeth were clenched as red began to stain the grey clothing. There was not enough time to treat the wound, he had to find shelter. His crawling would have not been fast enough to take full shelter, or any if that. The Bazaar was not heavily guarded, and no one dared come to his rescue. His breathing quickened as he started to sketch a geometry as a barrier. The pain in his leg was distracting, but not enough to prevent him from executing the geometry. Unless he was shot again or intercepted fast, he would have a temporary, weak bunker behind the wall of aether.
  8. Awesome! Well he is a mad scientist, so anything looking mad-sciency would be good. Other than that I have no specifics
  9. Titor was keeping a look out and trying the best to conceal his identity, however, he was a master at science, not espionage, so his cover was not the best. Nevertheless he hurridly checked over the goods, confirming that everything that he had paid for, and making sure that everything was in good condition. With a nod, he picked up the bag of goods and held them under his cloak, heading towards the exit of the Bazaar.
  10. May I get a half body of my OC, Titor? Links to his ref are in my signature, the text under the image.
  11. Titor was heading to the Silver Bazaar to pick up a shipment of some rare alchemic ingredients which he theorized could be combined to make something on the scale of mass cloaking, which could be useful for the situation at hand. Of course, it was extremely theoretical, and even if it had worked might have been a bit too unstable to actually use on a living creature. Nonetheless, at this point, it seemed like something that might be able to help. He was in disguise, wearing a dark grey cloak with red trimmings around the fringes. The hood was up, leaving only his face visible to close observers. He approached the merchant whom he was supposed to meet, extending out a rather hefty bag of gil over to the merchant after inspecting some of the goods.
  12. I really really really like them. I am strongly considering having Titor accidentally transform into one (He is an alchemist and works with such things) but I will have to see if I really do like the race, and if it would make sense for my character at the time. I am pretty attached to his hyur model, but I really really liked the horned dragon/lizard/scalekin kind of races. So I will have to wait it out and see, but accidentally transforming him is in the realm of possibilities for me.
  13. Well the 200k deduction would be failing to be able to select a FC name, which for roleplayers is usually quite important, selecting your own name and theme. Buying a premade FC would be only for convenience. Doing it yourself with the GC turn in method (And being the only one online) gives you lots of seals which you can in turn mats for and sell, recovering a large portion of the investment. You also get the FC points while doing the turn-in method.
  14. I would like to participate in the giveaway ^^
  15. I transferred during what was primetime and, while I did not explicitly check, would have thought that Balmung would have been locked during this time. My friend also transferred during this time too. I have not really heard of SE holding anyone on a server who paid, I think they get priority to transfer on.
  16. Oh man, if you come to Balmung I think that Titor and Fina will get along really well. Titor is also an alchemist/scientist but more of the eccentric billionaire kind. If you are willing to pay money, you can do a server transfer, which IIRC ignores the login restrictions and will just let you transfer your character. But we neeeedddd more sciency characters about! FOR SCIENCE!
  17. You can level a FC up with your own name for around 500k using grand company turn ins of crafted items (and you get seals!) 3 mil is way too much for a FC with no house... I think 300k would be more reasonable...
  18. Very nice! Are you going to open slots again soon? I still want one
  19. I love robots/androids/high tech and would love to RP with this character sometime if you want. I do not mind bending lore a bit either to make it plausible if need be
  20. After the meeting, Titor and Mikh'a had returned to medbay/lab. Titor sat down at his desk and began to try to mathematically and logically calculate his way through what had just occurred, hopefully trying to be able to come up with anything that might help point them in the direction to go. Dealing with the matters and intensions of mankind had always been something Titor was not that good at. Numbers, math, formulas, geometries, he excelled at that. Psychology, social engineering, cognitive science? Nope. This was not something that he was going to have to rely on his Captain to make the decision for. He would follow whatever orders he were given, even unto death. He would sacrifice his life for his unit and his country should the time come. He sighed, and sat back in his chair a bit, looking over his notes upon which he had reached no conclusion, before turning to Mikh'a. "What do you think of all this?" he asked, placing the papers down on the table and rubbing his head. "A part of me thinks this will just be no big deal, just another mission. Everyone seemed so on-edge about it though. It is just delivering a few goods, right? It is not like events like this /never/ happen. It is unusual, yes, and potentially dangerous if things go wrong and these items get in the wrong hands. But I am sure they have been riskier tasks given to this unit, or even the Flames in general..."
  21. Ffff, this ice is slippery (also glaives) What evs I can take it come at me bro ...I forgot how to book.
  22. I would like one when you open again please
  23. Titor's room is a long-term medbay and laboratory. I really like how rooms work in our FC. We use them more as house extensions than 'personal' rooms and it is neat.
