Game isn't worth the initial 59.99, Walmart has it on their site for 45.53 for PC, see if your local story will honor this, if not wait for the game to diminish in value. Good game, not great, will never be on Dragon Age Origins level (significantly better than DA2) and is worth a purchase. Below are my thoughts: Fuck crafting: tedious-ad nausea-bullshit that makes you go out an fetch materials to build stuff. This is a console game not some MMORPG, and really detracts from the game play and dumbs the experience down to senseless time sinks. The environments are beautiful, massive (some not so much) and really immerses you into the game. The abilities are fun and flashy, but some are horribly bugged and don't work. Companions aren't as integral in Inquisition as they were in Dragon Age Origins or Awakening, and have very little depth to build upon unless you romance one. A player will get cheeky, quirky, and funny small talk and banter in the world of Thedas, but beyond that they are just resources for combat or the mini-game that is the war table. Too many goddamn side quests, a player will sink more time in side quests than actual the story's plot. Combat on PC is shit, use a controller. Combat can be thoroughly enjoyable, but crank up the difficult to hard or better if you want a challenge. The story is adequate, but not anything resembling Origins or Awakening, but once again better than DA2. Over all 3/5 or 7/10 for me.

You have to be married to acquire the embrace emote? That is sad. The DRG buffs are cool and deserved. NIN nerfs are nonsensical. Glad to see MNK is still top single target DPS (sarcasm at its finest). Whatever, NIN is fine and the only things that were nerfed is Ninjitsu, and hitting the tp floor sooner. Anyone want to Marry Artigan? He isn't mister right, but he is mister right now.

Why is there constantly stigma with Dragoon?
Artigan replied to mantraofyosuga's topic in RP Discussion
Being the Azure Dragoon is one thing, RPing a Job is another, and faulting players for RPing things that are in the universe they are role playing in is just god damn silly. Being a Sue is silly, being a Job is not. If you want to role play an asthmatic individual, bound to a wheel chair, and wielding a rusty sewing pen more power to you. Don't fault others for not playing an r-tard with all the grace of derp da herp, and talent of a floundering fish on some beach. Being powerful is not being a sue, having a unique flair is not being a sue, having all the powers and being infallible is. -

Anyone can learn to become a Shinobi, much like a Paladin, and harnass the powers of Ninjutsu, so long as those with the power and knowledge are willing to teach the individual in question. Doma is no where as near as xenophobic as Ishgardians, and spoilers aside, the lore lends itself to allow for anyone to become a Ninja if they so choose. Obviously, to state the obvious, a good (poor if you are feeling lazy) story is needed to explain how a character is able to manipulate their chi (aether) to perform Ninjutsu and "release" the powers of man, heaven, and earth. Also, nothing is saying a player's echo power can't be completely fluff. Golden Rule: do what is fun. If you don't accept another players concept, fair enough, but players should play whatever best suits their time and gives them the greatest happiness. -

This is a fair point. Frankly, I don't see why people can't just play badass lancers but I guess they really like to jump or something. Kind of sucks that so many players don't give due reverence to the lore in this regard. Miqo'te are NOT the "acute hearing" race. They have a stronger sense of smell but it's the Elezen you go to for sensitive ears. Would be funny if someone roleplayed a Miqo'te smelling you through smoke, but then again, doesn't that smoke clog up the nostrils as well? Heh. Not that I'd know. I don't have a cat's or dog's nose, either! Miqotes also have very powerful legs. Makes them actually ideal Monks, Ninjas, and Dragoons. -

Artigan would be interested in being apart of the clientele. Even for a Rogue he loves fine shirts and "fancy" bandanas that give him a unique flair. We can work out a preexisting relationship, if you like, that the majority of his shirts, pants, and bandanas are made by your character. Quick run down on Artigan Schezar: Sunseeker Miqote formerly of Drake. He has spent the majority of his life in Limsa. Artigan speaks with a heavy Liminsian accent (what would vaguely be considered Irish IRL) The Miqote is publicly known to be apart of the Sisters, but lime-lights as a "Treasure Hunter." He is a proverbial wayfarer or sea gypsy. Artigan almost always has a tale on his lips from his many "adventures." The scars on his cheeks are from a Couerl bite. Those vaguely close to him know Arigan Schezar is not his birth name (U’awhri Tia) Character Page: https://wiki.ffxiv-roleplayers.com/pages/Artigan_Schezar -

Bruh, why are you trying to explain the "Force" in some pseudo scientific fashion? Star Wars never did that, wait, fuck. :throws up hands and walks out: http://www.nooooooooooooooo.com/

Update: I'm still seeking a guild but I have a few stipulations that I need to add on as well. I'm looking for a mature guild: Leaders who do not succumb to appeals to popularity. Leaders who do not generalize, us fallacious reasoning, or irrelevances, and "feel" there way through conversations, and accuse members of being "defensive" for merely countering logical inconsistencies. Individuals who don't make wild accusations based on satire and police speech to suit their moralities, or label individuals with stigmas. A guild who does not constantly need to attack the character of a stranger they know nothing of, and allows their emotions to guide them to "conclusions," or poor reasoning that suits biases. A guild who does not make knee jerk reactions. I'm looking for a mature guild full of adults and not hipsters throwing around biases. Thank you Sincerely, Artigan.

I am currently seeking an active, and by active I mean just that, who are interested in RP, Progression, PVP, Raids, and helping one another out to obtain items when needed. I have a 50 Monk and Dragoon. I plan to main Ninja and I’m currently leveling it. I also plan on maxing my gathering professions and Alchemy. Please contact me here or in game at: Artigan Schezar

That is some incredibly fast leveling. Fates + exp company boosts?

I appreciate that Xenedra (I got the name on Gilgamesh) and no I am not trying to keep the name but change my current one, as I'm going to transfer my main, as I'm quiet done with Couerl. I'm a returning player and only went to Couerl because of friends whom I had a falling out with. So throwing away old identities for new ones, and trying out a new home.
