So! This thought occurred to me.. How would you think your precious little babies would react to suddenly being thrown into our world? Of course your character would still be, them. Like.. a Miqo'te in-game would be a Miqo'te IRL, etc. but they are real, like you and (hopefully) me, in the United States of World. For my Main, Rhyllona. I feel like she wouldn't change to much, she tends to keep to herself and just moves around a lot. Though her height and pale colored themes, would probably stand out and raise eyebrows amongst others. In which case she would most likely scoff at whoever questioned it and just get on with her life. and for my alt, V'arimbeh, She would be even more Personal Space invading then she already is. Prodding every single person she ran into until she got extremely bored. Oh and she would probably freak out because she wouldn't be able to understand anyone, but try to like.. Learn human tongue. Even though I highly doubt theres an Eorzean to English dictionary. OH! Oh! Bonus Question. How would you react if you woke up in Eorzea? I'd be pretty freaked out and would probably be dead within the week. Hahaha

Figure I'll reiterate that I'm certainly not upset when it does happen, however it is much appreciated when people take the time to spoiler current tier story content. Main Scenario and Binding Coil are the two big ones that people get upset at with spoilers, and we're simply here to avoid people from accidentally spoiling story elements when browsing the thread. I know I've seen people in the past upset when coil bosses were revealed before they were able to see them on their own, or cutscenes from the main scenario. Want to hear something really depressing and annoying? Try having being in a "Relationship" with a guy that ends up abusing you, and you have no way to talk to any of your friends because the FC youre in, has extremely toxic members always flooding the Voice Chat in which wards you away from the Voice Chat.. for Two Whole Months before working up the courage to leave said FC, then having the Guild Leaders get mad at you for leaving because they keep toxic members. /cries There's more and more to this story, but I'm not gonna get to into it. Just.. ugh. my terrible tale. =w=;

Welcome to FFXIV, The RPC and to Roleplaying! As for your questions, I have some answers! #1. Apart from OC moments, is everything you do IC, such as the quests etc? The only things I ever do ICly is when I'm roleplaying. I have a very awkward sense when it comes to RPing and I have to put my mind into it and basically absorb my character or I can't concentrate and end up losing interest in Roleplay. #2. Do you pre-plan what your character is going to do and their story or do you just load up the game and away you go? Very rarely do I pre-plan. I tend to just let the Twelve take the Wheel and just watch, and possibly add my own Destructive sense to things. ;D #3. How do you role-play doing the same content (dungeons) over and over? I've never Roleplayed in Dungeons before, I plan to sometime in the future, as for just the same content. You kinda just hope either you or your partner can keep things interesting. #4. Is there any websites etc that I can look at to increase my knowledge of the games lore as to role-play better? I'm not the best person to ask regarding this. I use the FFXIV Official Forums, Google Occasionally and primarily the RPC. :> #5. Where is the best place to meet others that role-play? The single most common spot of RP is in Ul'dah, The Quicksand Inn. Though if you're like me and don't care for overly crowded areas, then you just try and make connections on here in the "Making Connections" Sub-Forum.
