An interim piece I hastily did a few minutes ago, mainly cuz I felt like crying at lack of even slight improvements to Ramomo. Makes me realize how much I need to really dig into dicking around with a tablet and SAI Now back to throwing myself at fixing Ramona, TAKE 24!

Now bear with me, this might be long winded. I'm looking for people to help Keil out on his little journey following a trail of riddles that started his journey from Ul'dah to brave Eorzea following in the footsteps of his adoptive father, an ex-ishgardian elezen ex-merc who one day simply up and vanished leaving a note, the first riddle, and a spear, since his adoptive father taught him how to use a spear, as well as a sack of gil to catch a caravan to bring him to Gridania and the Shroud where the first riddle pointed to. It's split into 4 arcs, The Shroud, Thanalan, La Noscea, and I'm already on the fourth arc which involves Coerthas and Mor Dhona. Despite the fact that I'm on the fourth arc, I can still roleplay the 2nd and 3rd arcs and simply modify them seeing as they are both isolated and it was just largely Keil on his own. In fact, I want to roleplay those two arcs, a journey across Thanalan and then another one across La Noscea. Keep in mind that this will span dungeons aside from vistas and settlements. I want to IC those runs so we can all pick the place clean looking for another slip of paper . That said I'm also looking for people to help him with the fourth arc. I can't RP the first arc since a good part of it was already solved by Miss Vynka Lanore. If it garners enough attention I might start working on more clues that allude to places in Thanalan and La Noscea. I only have one that I used for La Noscea, which pointed to Bronze Lake and it's hot springs, solved by Miss T'shina Vashka. Aside from the clues I might even put up a road map so you know OOCly what place I'm referring to. I did my best to condense the ideas and not have to tl;dr at the bottom. I want to RP his progression throughout Eorzea and maybe even his journey to level 50. I don't want to give up on that like I did with Kurt and Ramona. According to Khivva, finding an FC might help but I dunno if there are any who would even take this cat in under their wing. Meanwhile Atoline said that this recruitment thread might help my chances. EDIT: While I'm at it, anyone wanna help Keil do the Valentione Quests? Kinda wanna RP that too. EDIT EDIT: If you can help me create some clues for the other locations that'd be nice too. TL;DR Looking for people to share the adventure with and solve those riddles

Welp at least that reference is helping me. I've been trying to fix it according to your model, a hundred fifty seven thousand times before I give up on fixing her! Somehow though, whenever I compare it to the one reference you made its always wrong on some shape or level or form. Still a hundred fifty seven million times before I give up!

Keil lived in the Sagolii for 5 years so he still knows his way around that place. He could run into your guy and at least bring him to Byregot's strike if not Forgotten Springs.

Doodle in class. Tried to make a surprised Ramona sporting glasses and the lightning hair. Except halfway through I didn't want to put the lightning hair...hence the mess on her shoulder.

Aye, I guess I never thought about that at all. But well that's my method at least and I'm not too disconnected seeing as I still get salty OOCly sometimes when some other guy does shit to my own characters. Especially when they're not really on good terms, though I swallow it and still try to have an amiable conversation with the player behind the character. And I'm not saying I don't put my view point into them, a lot of their opinions stem from me and I just tweak them to fit the world. It's just the really strange parts like trying to maintain Ramona's heterosexuality that I have to be a little more disconnected with. She wants a guy after all and I'm a straight guy. And this is more to just help me keep in mind that even though they have a parts or huge chunks of me in them, they're still their own characters and they don't know what the other knows. While keeping me aware that I'm not Kurt, not Keil, not Ramona, I'm all three of them but not at the same time. I should probably get some breakfast.... I'm sure I didn't make any sense. EDIT Very bottomline: I use the fact that I have alts as an anchor in the clouds to stop me from falling in too deep. Otherwise I'd very irritated, annoyed and pissed with a few other members here. It helps me compartmentalize the emotions I feel when interacting with certain characters. Otherwise I basically am Keil, Kurt or Ramona when I use them. I wont lie it bleeds out into OOC and then I just remind myself I have other characters. When the bleed gets too bad I just shut up OOCly...which, now I realize is probably something I shouldnt do.

Ohai! Yup, we'll sully the innocence of prepubescents once more~. (Not like that.) Show them things that shouldn't be shown yet...or you know, just mess around with em and outright teach train them as a joke. It will be glorious!

And here I am with alts to necessitate a clear boundary between IC and OOC. I dunno if it works for everyone but when you know character A isn't supposed to know what character B knows, you already try to keep some sort of detachment whenever you interact with others. Less of you being in your characters shoes and more of it feeling like you're watching a TV show or something that involves em. After all, you aren't your character, they are their own people probably with just snippets of you in them. And like any good TV show, even if you aren't them, you could still feel for them or something. And yes when I say they are there own characters I minimize the impact of my viewpoints, orientation and all that. If Ramona so much as gets a boyfriend (COME AT HER BRAH!), I will simply internalize the mantra of "I'mco-authoringaromancenovel"and let the relationship blossom or wither accordingly. That in itself already puts some distance between OOC and IC, helps keep the bleed away when they're(your characters) doing something that might be interesting but wouldn't exactly be right up your alley personally.

I guess you're right. I actually realized that he looks like some guy from a comic strip on newspaper a little after...even the way I didn't completely coat his hair in black. In any case this'll be the first step on the road to creating the nugger style art. That faes will have more detail soon. The jaw probably needs work and the chin could stand to be less likely to be used as a makeshift lancer weapon

I can't get enough of the musical score of the trailer. It reminds me of some of the jazzier tracks from the reincarnation tracks of the P4 and 3 OSTs, I always love the Jazzy and/or Lounge sounding tracks of Meguro really...so that might just be a personal thing.

I aint gonna lie that trailer made me throw money at the screen. Wonder where the social links went though, didnt see the option at like the party menu thingy.
