Alexander means Defender of Mankind... Including the bit where there are at least one or two Alexander's in general FF lore, I wanted to keep that in as a way to reflect that bit onto the character.... and because I am personally attach to that name.... Gomez, however, was more of a... personal choice out on a whim. It actually does not follow the normal naming convention for Midlander Hyurs... So whoops! ><; Wa'gozah'a Nunh is probably a mouthful to some because I wanted to somehow incorporate the hint of Gozah being a Keeper, but raised with Seeker traditions...all while trying to follow the naming conventions typical for Miqo'tes. So it should be something like, (WAH-go-zah-AH NOON) ...Gozah is actually just the name twist around to be similar to Gomez.... There was once a character named Goza, who was an Elf race in another game called Mabinogi... They're not quite related, but their similarities is that they will start out and be more focused with magic-related stuff. .....So yeah, ehehe.... Nothing special ^^;;

I'm sorry but I went and checked out the RPC wiki for C'eleni and, though I don't know nor met the character nor do I know the player, I find the profile pic of her to be so pretty! >/w/

I may have made it late to the celebration and missed out on having a party group to rp with (it was a bit lonely so I had to put more effort in mingling with people, haha X3), but it was, overall, still pretty fun! To get into the roleplaying community in Balmung, the first two things, in my opinion, that come to mind are to hang out at the certain locations such as the Quicksand in Ul'dath...and to keep an eye out for the events posted here as well. Additionally, you can, of course, send a tell or PM through here if you wish to rp with the person of your interest. It definitely helps to check out the forums here for some basic lore and, as one already suggested, to check out an LS or an FC in order to start making some connections. By the way, I noted that you don't necessarily have to wait till you're 50 to get into some RP. I had the same mindset but some occasional tries in reaching out have me actually interact with people and make some connections or two.. Either way, you'll be fine! Good luck with everything! Hello and welcome! I agree that this is quite an awesome community. Here's to more wonderful memories! People here will probably, and likely, tell you to go with whatever floats your boat, basically. In my opinion, and if I recall correctly, Balmung simply has more numbers in their ranks due to the legacy players, which makes Balmung to have such a high popularity in the RP scene... However, that makes Balmung hard to get into due to character creation locks. On the other hand, you have Gilgamesh who DOES have an establish RP community and they even have their own website (I don't recall what is the url but I'm sure someone will find it or you should be able to find it easily). It may not be as big but it certainly would not be a crime if you decide to start something up there. I suppose it provides an opportunity where you have plenty of room to start something there as oppose to Balmung, where you're likely to join one of the numerous FCs and LSs that currently exist on the server... You are welcome to make one of your own (should it interest you) of course! That is just my opinion though. I've been pretty invested in Balmung so what I say about it can come off biased X3 But also be aware, as you may already be aware of, that money may be what discourages people from making the attempt to transfer to Balmung. Otherwise, perhaps my suggestion is to try to look for openings in Balmung while you continue to play on Gilgamesh. When you manage to get your char into Balmung, you do your thing and see, from there, which server will you invest most of your time in. Whatever you do, I hope you enjoy your time here!
