So this is my 1st time even spectating here and I just have one question. With an event this big, how the hell do you guys keep up with what's going on here?

Make sense I guess, by buying the wedding rings, which require real cash, they still profit off of it. Where-as selling art for gil, there is no profit in that for them.

Oh yes of course! I don't know if even I'd ever do that but interesting to know. I seem to be richer irl than I am in the game, so good to know lol

Is that allowed, selling them for gil?

Am I able to just buy these things and hand them other to a friend so he can marry his wife, or are they untradeable? And what I mean by that is, I know I can trade the first one out to him, but then can he trade it to his wife and I give him the second one so they could be bonded? Or because I was the one that bought them, does it restrict the use to me and him? Hope this makes sense.

I must say, I have to give a shout out to the OP. There was some pretty stiff resistance going on there for awhile. It's refreshing to see someone handle severe criticism and take it well enough. Hats off to you good sir/madame!

Welcome to the RPC! Don't seem like my character would have anything in common from what I've read of your characters, but none-the-less the wiki for him is down below if you want to RP sometime or at-least arrange a brief "hello" kinda thing.

I say Manasas is a villain because, well, he is. He is a pirate, pirates are villainous. He is not a prostitute, nor a whor....okay he might be that, but I RP a pirate because a pirate's life for me (see what I did there) However if you Reed (see what I did there again) the wiki for him, it even states he will not rape a woman, that being said, he is a pirate. If I, being IC, ran into a pirate wench or a whore-ish character at some point, sure, ERP would be a possibility. But I don't go looking out for it, nor has he been created with that purpose in mind.

Early Tonight: Finishing up here at work. From there taking the ole 4x4 and the .243 Winchester out to some private property and shootin some hogs, maybe a few coons or opossums, coyotes, whatever the landowner don't want around Late Tonight: Sit in the Quicksand watching everybody else RP with their friends while I sit in my corner emoting ole pirate songs while being #foreveralone Tomorrow: Finish getting my boat all set up for some serious fishing this spring/summer as well as upgrading a few toys to go along with it New GPS, fish-finder, mounting some more pole holders to the console, new life jackets, & I think I need that new Shimano combo as well. Really need to wash the Bimini Top as well.... Tomorrow Night: Saying as the previous night (lol) Sunday/Sunday Night. A combination of the previous nights, and just playing videogames in general!

Since I'm decently new to RP and FFXIV in general, along with not really having any friends on this forum yet, I wont to give some unbiased advice on this. So bear with me if you will It is 100% okay if you want to re-write the lore for your character. If you want your character to be the love child between Hercules and Obama, it's certainly your right to do so. You paid your money for the game, same as any of us. That gives you the right to do what you want. However...... As you well have noticed, people here do not support that style of RP. Yes, you can RP that if you want regardless. But it will be a lonely road you'll walk yourself./ By having your character be this lore bending fallen goddess type person, you completely shatter the lore and immersion for everyone else around you. Therefore, nobody will really want to associate with your character. So for your own sake and not because "oh hey this is our game you go away" it really isn't what you are looking for. I hope there's no hard feelings, just don't want you to invest time into something and not be happy with it.

Oh man, I know how "0 replies 76 views" feel, so I'm just going to post a little about my characters, so see if there is anything that you could use! Manasa: Being a Pirate type character, I'm not sure if adventuring companion would be the word for it, but being a pirate, he may of had dealings or had seen your mother about doing what she does, maybe thru some less than savory dealings between criminal activity in Limsa, and your mothers in Gridania. He is only 27, so it's not likely he'd know your mother very well. Maybe he accompanied your mother back to the shop, along with his Captain or something similar at same point. Being only a few years older than you, I'm sure he would of at the least said Hi to you. T'avh T'avh is just a stumbling, bumbling, orphaned, currently homeless, kinda creepy 17yr old Miqo'te lad, who also has a MAJOR lying problem when trying to impress those around him. This character is just a funny alt I play on a fair amount. Seeing as how he is in Uldah, I'm sure there could be some kinda super awkward friendship between the two. If anything sound sof interest, or you have some ideas, feel free to pm me here or send tell to either character in-game.

Sounds good! Just shoot me a tell and we'll get something setup. Also, if anyone does wish to add me, I usually log in-game in the evenings, around 10pm or so. However I can hope on earlier and at least grab a FR so we can meet up easier.

Manasas is the same age as her, and although a pirate, (check my wiki) he'd respect her diligence and admire her for not letting her disability getting in the way. He frequents Ul'dah quite often so I'm sure we could atleast manage a brief bump in to each other.

Don't know her in-game, nor hardly here on the forums, but seems to be a nice helpful person.

Thanks! I just completed it yesterday. It was the first time I've done anything with wiki, along with the most elaborate thing I've done Rp wise. So to here its well done is appreciated! And yes I'd like to spend majority of the time in Limsa, but Rp has been hard to find there so I keep coming up with reasons for him to be around Ul'dah quite often
