Arcian will definitely be in attendance. Because reasons. Reasons that may or may not involve copious amounts of alcohol.

That's pretty much my stance on it. I'm competent at what I do as a DPS, so I see no reason to offer a disclaimer when I go to punch the hell out of things. My adventures in tanking are another story; since I'm still new to it (half a level to go to PLD), I'll just offer a quick, "Hey all, just letting you know I haven't tanked this before. Please bear with me," and thank them for doing so at the end of the instance if they stick around. New tanks can cause some (or a lot of) frustration, so I figure it's only polite. What Warren said also rings true, though. Being a liability to your party makes things harder for everyone.

Definitely tossing Arcian's name in there for monk shenanigans, and an LS sounds like a great idea.

Planswise, I've dinner with my father on Saturday, then I'm probably taking my first tentative steps into Crystal Tower on Sunday. As for RP, I'll take whatever pops up.

I'm not currently in an FC myself, but the Tavern linkshell has been pretty good for making connections! (Send Aireiel Shipkeeper a tell if you're interested.) In addition, I'm also more than willing to offer an affable Highlander monk for traveling companionship, trampling through dungeons, and general shenanigans.

While not of Ishgard, Arcian is pretty affable and easygoing as Highlanders go, and would likely be more than willing to serve as a traveling companion or the like. Which is to say that I'm totally down for RP and stuff if you're interested.

I started in my friends' D&D 3.0 campaign when I was twelve, and moved to WoW the next year. I've gotten quite a lot of mileage out of Blizzard's jackassery, RP-wise (to the tune of almost a decade). As for the rest, I still RP in WoW and SWTOR, and am sticking my toes into GW2 for the sake of my friends. I've also done a lot of forum/Tumblr/DW/IM RP, so I like to think of myself as pretty versatile.
