So I''ve been slowly chipping at my wiki for Zachary 'Zetsu' Volfire with what little I know about Lore. Merchant Of Despair So far I'm basing it on some actual game play I experienced. Scenes, Instances, and Arcs acted out with friends and role playing compatriots. I realized as I'm typing however I might be doing a shoddy job of it. So I wanted to see what might i change or edit to be more accurate or at least easy to roleplay with? I don't want to make any sort of Mary Sue character so any advice, criticism, or even opinions about my character are greatly appreciated. Pros: Has practiced and has weapon skills in Guns, Knives, 2hand swords, Axes, and books. Magical Skill is linked to Arcanist, Summoning, Alchemy, Dark Thuarmaturgy Magic Fairly Rich thanks to smart investments and sales. Has an above average intelligence. Has average physical prowess. Works as a financial contributor to the Scions of Seventh Dawn. Has fought 5 primals. 3 fights he won. 2 he settled diplomatically. A true warrior of light works under him in his guild. He owns a Shop which doubles as a Lab for him in the mist. His Guildhall functions as Hostel and bar for members in Lavender Beds. Really great at sewing dresses and suits. Has great experience in most crafting classes thanks to sea life. Can perform healing magic with the Mognificent Mogtome Bible. Willing to sell to all races and people as long as they are using what's bought for the good of the realm. Gets along with 4 beast tribes Sahagin, Kobold, Amaljaa, Moogles. Has an elemental affinity for Water and Fire. Is apart of a trading network. Cons: Has experienced near death thanks to the battle of Certeneau. Due to his dying state when he was teleported by Master Louisoix he relived the last painful moments over and over again til meeting the dark crystal Zodiark. A very perverted individual. His cooking could slay behemoth if eaten. Can gain slightly above average strength in a crisis at the cost of a bit of sanity. Can be manipulated easily if angered. His limit break although powerful uses the powers of chaos. Hates the cold due to his trauma. An unhealthy addiction to green tea needs a cup every two days or withdrawal symptoms show up. Obsessed with studying aspects of raising and controlling the dead. Easily stressed with work. Quick to misjudge a situation. Acts prideful when insulted. To easily trusting. His limit break ability uses his despair to cause an explosion around him. That's what i have plan or acted out so far. The initial concept i was going with was a fusion of Jecht (FFX) and Miroku (Inuyasha). And after orleplaying it out just sort of came here.

For Zach's two melee classes no he's not as nimble with flips and stuff for his rouge skills but he has the muscle of his Warroir trainign to do heavy cuts with knives. As for his spells as long as his equatiosn are right so will his casting work.

for my two alt ocs i played with RNGoddess. But for any character i base on me. First I think about my life up til now then think about choices. Hobbies, crafts i partake in, places i been , i explored and my best achievements in fields. Then ii investigate lore see what would be possible for one person to do. Finnaly i settle it all down with a simple Skill sheet. List of powers: Magic Might Brain Flexibility Social etc. etc. then give my self a limited number of points to work with that way either to be great at one thing and weak in another or just perfectly average. It allows allot of various stories to be made too based on said skills. I like playing the commander or big boss like character. I help out alot and show up to give guidance or egg people on ,but i love pulling people up and throwing them into the spot light what happens when they would be place here? This is a perfect time to reviel your key to victory! etc. etc.

Phyiscally he's above average since he keeps in shape with adventuring and his work as a shipwright but he likes using his brains over brawn. Plus thanks to merchant skills plus adventuring he tidied up a nice sum to back him up.*less risk of dying that way.*

One of my characters Actually was in the calamity. right before the time warp however he was dying and in the thralls of despair as Bahamut scorn was spread. So he has been reliving that moment over and over til the mother crystal called out ot him. That darkness in his heart had to go somewhere. So when he heard he can learn ot manipulate dark energy and channel it like so? He hoped on that bandwagon immideatly. Usually I try to keep to lore as accurately as possible but i also allow freedom of evolution so to speak? My usaul argument for lore breakers depend on what they do. If its: I don't like this part of lore cause its stupid or wont fit my character. - then I'm sorry but youll either need to make your character fit or try to find another bit of lore that can. If its: I based "this part" on the lore but also thought if I did this it fit/ -oh ! tha'ts a great idea!! also what if this this this could happen based on that fact? * goes and invites other's to discuss* We're all human so if we try alittle bit we can probably get alogn and work out differences and what not. Summary on Roleplaying with lore In our real world we are filled with infinite possibilities. If a Blind man can climb Mt. Everest. A small village turn into a metropolis. Etc. Etc. If a character challenges or messes with the lore abit who are we to straight up say "That's not right." Its their character for a reason. Now if they god mod or become nigh indestructible correct them tell them why they're too 'op' or bending the rules only in their favor. Myself as an example. When experience a new universe in a game. I always put my self in it first. It's egotistical but i want to imagine what kind of life I lived if i was in this world. Would i have the same hobbies. Would I have the same interest? Would I pursue a easy life or go through strife i have known before.If someone tells me No you can't do that that's impossible? How would my race, skin color, ideals, height, weight ,and even mroe factors play with the lore standpoints and work i need. I'd ask why ot better understand what i may be doing wrong and better my self.? we as humans(and other*) Are sentient and can learn can change and evolve. Whoever harassed you had no right too.
