I'm going to try and make a rough skeleton tonight with general structure. I'll post it so people can tell me they would like to add/subtract, etc. I might ask for a bit of help if I have any trouble with the shortcut/hyperlink redirect thingy.

^This! There are people we hear in RL that we think are crazy, might as well have some we think are crazy IC. Some people just don't know the lore as well as others, me!, but I always try the polite route if it's pressuring me to react based off of thus false lore. If they refuse reason then the opinion of my IC is that they are ICly off their rocker. Still, in essence, all RP is Art, as it is a form of writing, and everyone has different tastes. I think Nebbs actually posted a link to something a while back who posted how people should start in RP. Not everyone will like you, not everyone will agree, but, luckily, that's what makes social interaction great. When people agree too much we become complacent, bored, and tend to find something to disagree on. And in such, we all deal with it differently.

I'm on EST time zone. i tend to be nocturnal but i just off of my work week, so i haven't adjusted. I'm on anywhere from 6pm-12 am, but sometimes later. it depends on how the day goes!

I'll probably start working on a draft for this and make it an ongoing project before pushing it fully. Most of the genres will be determined by what people post. I may not have a listing for those who are Conjuring Trainers, but once someone describes it it will be listed as a choice under the trainers section, again just an example. What will take time getting use to is what I can use in a forum post as far as links go. I used an Add-on for WoW when I first made this called Gryphon Heart Items. It allowed you to make in game items, such as books, that can be used and opened. I would publish a new book each month with updated content. While using the forum I will be able to constantly update, but it may not be as flashy at first. Thanks for the input! I'm welcome to more suggestions!

Thanks for the replies! It's hard to describe what I am meaning so here is a short example. Random Title Taverns Merchants Mercenaries Protection Assassins [*]Domestic Hires [*]Criminal [*]Etc Etc This is poorly descriptive but shows the structure I am referring to. Each word is a link to a part of this page ,or just a reference if the links aren't possible, and at that point it would something like... Taverns: Wayfarer' Rest- Ward 5: Plot?? A great place to forget your night! Tookie Tookie Resort- Ward 6: plot?? Insert random description! 7th Heaven- Ward 22: Plot 2 Our waitresses wear bunny suits. Etc etc. It would list the name, a small description, and then the name would be a link to the actual FC's page on the site for further, deeper, information. These of course are very crudely written examples, the full version would much cleaner with better detail. I wouldn't mind doing this, love creating stuff and being helpful, but I want to make sure I'm not just redoing what someone else might have already done on the site already. Thanks! EDIT: I want to clarify that this not a tool for FC recruitment, but for hiring or services. I realize there is a thread from the summit being made now for recruitment and interest and such. I have no intention of being redundant and copying this. This is more of an easy to find guide for a new Role Player to find a contact they need and make a connection. It is not purely for FCs either since individuals can be mercenaries and maids, etc etc. In essence, it is more or less to be a highway for the information that is already listed on the site.

Rini is always up for new friends! Her brother and herself are actually starting a small company through a Linkshell that is a common communication for recruiting these individuals for RP work. It's still in the early process, but it would be done in a DnD style setting with a story framed out and the reaction and choices of the characters leading the story. Either way, always up for making new friends. Welcome back to Balmung!

Ello Hydaelyns! So I'm looking to do something constructive, and I had an idea to do something that I created for my WoW server a few years back buuuuut someone might have already done it on here and I just haven't found it. So, that being said, is there a directory that acts as a list that separates and groups the different FCs and IC businesses? For example, a list of every tavern that is ran by players out of their FC houses, a list of merc FCs, advertisement for detective FCs, etc etc. In short it is like a yellow pages. I have seen them grouped by race and such, and almost all the information -is- here on the forums in one spot or another, but I'm just checking if anyone has hashed this into an easy "my crew wants to hang out in a player ran bar, what are my options?" and all seven, just an example, are listed with descriptions in one easy to navigate thread. Sorry for rambling, work is a drag. Thanks!

Not sure. If you read the script, Cornelia gets kidnapped by Blank so she doesn't see Marcus. If you wanna be Cornelia, you could be an understudy for Rhela. Although I suggest you go for one of the non-actor roles so you could be an active part of the staff. Oh, lol, I was referring more to the part where a random black mage runs onto the stage and catches the "dead" princess's cloak on fire before lifting off and escaping in an explosive exit..... Just curious, and I've wondered for years, how did you manage to put together the full script? Is it an actual play or did you piece it together from what was shown in the game?
