Moodboard for Noh or Claire Hargrave. Since they didn't give me any specific color, I played around a bit in color editing, plus finding cool explosion photos was pretty fun. :3

Would you like to be a cool kid on tumblr? Let me make you a custom moodboard for free! Here's a few of my samples.

If you're not very confident in your roleplay concepts, maybe take them to Character Workshop and just ask if there's anything you can improve and they'll give you constructive criticism and feedback. We're all pretty nice here. Also... I'd just put in a short description of the characters you want to RP on. And just tell people what you're looking for really. That's it.

Hey! Welcome. I wish I could just throw you a linkshell right off the bat, but most of the linkshells I'm in are for my FC, or are for specific groups or story arcs. I would suggest checking out our LS and FC halls, that's where I looked when I just started off on this site. Also, browsing the connections board and sending a PM to your favorite thread posters might get you some replies for chances at RP. Other than that, welcome to RPC, and if you need help with anything or have any interest in RPing with me let me know. Here's my connections thread: http://ffxiv-roleplayers.com/showthread.php?tid=15748 Also! It might not be a bad idea to create your own connections thread, so you could get responses from people as well.

I will not let my legacy die with me....(background check)
SapphireSkylines replied to Yunas13's topic in Character Workshop
Hey! So small suggestion. I know you said that her being picked as princess was entirely random at a ball/celebration. Maybe you could make it less random. I know some religions pick leadership in very special ways, for example the Dalai Lama is picked right after the last Dala Lama has passed and is chosen if they live under a certain star. (I could be wrong on this) But the point is that a young boy or baby is picked because they display a certain characteristic and they are taken to the temple to be trained as the next religious leader. Maybe your character had a certain characteristic or skill that royal officials caught onto and that's how she became the princess after the last princess/queen/king either passed away or gave up their title. -
Gil and You - Your character's relationship with wealth
SapphireSkylines replied to Chompie's topic in Fun Prompts
Y'zhara Zhara had very humble beginnings. Her father was an Ul'dahn merchant, but he was a modest man who raised Zhara and her brother with a comfortable, but not lavish lifestyle. Zhara continued living out a regular, working class lifestyle much like her father did when she was a barmaid and dancer, but all of a sudden her wealth significantly changed when she became an idol and songstress. Now, she almost has an unlimited amount of gil which at first, she had no clue what to do with. It's overwhelming when you go from living from paycheck to paycheck to having a huge cushion of gil. She now donates a lot to charity, one of the many things she did was buy a large load of blankets for the refugees in Ul'dah. She also contributes to her boyfriend's smithing business. Both Zhara and her boyfriend make quite a bit of bank, but since they both have very modest values, they live in his smithy in the Ul'dah Industrial district. They want to get a house in the future, it's just a matter of finding the right place. Liara Liara's had some financial problems in her past, but for the most part she has had a steady income and would be considered middle class by most. Liara has a private medical practice, which makes her some good income but Liara's very modest and frugal and tends to save her money. She considers big investments very carefully and only spends when she believes she needs to. Over gil and anything else, Liara values her friends and family and will most likely spend gil to support them over herself. -
Are you looking for any sort of RP theme for your FC? I might have a few recommendations. Good luck FC hunting!

Just going to put this here . A thread last night reminded me of this video. -BG00B2nrI4 Also, anyone play Yandere Simulator? Love that game. Update: I just found this gem earlier. For anyone who's seen Lemme Smash: WJpKsJSC5Nw

I can pick any Scion? Papalymo! I feel like he'd be really fun to have a glass of wine with and have a sarcast-off. I'd even let him complain about Yda. I totally get it - we all have that ditzy friend that drives us crazy.

Is it considered "weird" to play a Miqo'te?
SapphireSkylines replied to Drej's topic in RP Discussion
I used to be a full time lalafell roleplayer, and then I started playing a miqo'te. I've had a blast with her! I still like playing my shorties but I would say at this point that my miqo'te is now my main, my lalafell Liara coming at a close second. Don't let people put you down, play what you want to play. Unfortunately I don't really think I can say much else without saying what other people have said. Just have fun! It's a game. -
I was running an event at a tavern I co own - the Lominsan Star. And the Sultana showed up. I thought it was fun, and she was under the guise of Lady Lilira. The disguise she has on during the Thanalan starter quests? So my character just played dumb and served her drinks. I think one guy was able to figure out who she was because he was a Sultansworn but otherwise she came in with everyone else not suspecting she was the Sultana. That was the only time I encountered a NPC roleplayer. I don't really care, I think you should RP what makes you happy and if my character gets approached by one, they'll just either play dumb or be in disbelief, depending on the situation.

A Healing Tent: Pearl Lane [Open]
SapphireSkylines replied to Esther Iteya's topic in Town Square (IC)
Liara nodded and carefully stepped to the back of the tent where Esther's supplies were. Liara didn't have much on her but she did manage to have a few potions, antidotes, and eye drops that she donated to the supply box before coming out from the tent and standing next to it. She'd scan the alley before letting out a yawn and looking over at the people in the tent. She'd look over at Kallera curiously. "Did the criminal you tried to chase after get caught?" -
I might join you guys if I want to take a break from Balmung. Sounds like fun. Awhile back I tried rebuilding my RP community on Zalera (it used to actually have a pretty active one) but that failed really bad.

A Healing Tent: Pearl Lane [Open]
SapphireSkylines replied to Esther Iteya's topic in Town Square (IC)
Liara giggled. "I used to live here, it's always hot, even in the winter." she would say to Kallera before looking to Esther. "Yeah I volunteer my time here every now and then when I'm not busy with my private practice. And we have very few healers out here working, probably because there's more risk involved than reward unfortunately so I'm glad you joined the cause. Liara attempted to look toward the back of the tent as if she was inspecting Esther's supplies. "How are you doing on equipment and supplies?" -

A Healing Tent: Pearl Lane [Open]
SapphireSkylines replied to Esther Iteya's topic in Town Square (IC)
Liara - a brunette plainsfolk lalafell with pale skin and green eyes wandered the alley of Pearl Lane doing... well, the exact same thing Esther was doing, minus the tent. Liara appeared to be a conjurer of sorts, wearing armor pieces that looked like a member of the guild would wear along with a staff that looked like a branch off of a tree in the Shroud. She would stop to tend to a little girl, who was with her mother, giving the girl a quick injection with a needle that was in her medical kit after applying an alcohol cloth to the injection site. Liara would smile and wrap a bandage around the girl's arm before nodding to the mother. "Your daughter should be all set!" The hyurian mother would try to hand Liara what little gil she had but Liara would give her a big shake of her head. "That's not needed. Stay safe!" She continued to walk down the alley way and noticed Esther's healing tent, as well as the two Elezen women. One who appeared to be resting, and the other who appeared to be a friend or acquaintance to the girl operating the tent. Liara would approach the tent, curiously looking at it. "Ooo! Are you another healer? We really need the help around here. Welcome to Ul'dah." -
Honestly, I don't really think haircolor matters, just whatever you think is cool! However, the lalafell in Thanalan tend to have darker hair, blacks, dark browns.. seems like Dunesfolk tend to be darker in skintone and hair color but that doesn't mean you have to roll that way. I know plenty of Dunesfolk who have light hair color and light skin color, and of course there's Nanamo who has pink hair, green eyes and light skin. I think it's really all up to you. Have fun at the barber's!
