1. If this is still up and running, I'd like to get an invite, too. I'm not a big fan of linkshells, but this looks like a good way to make connections for future plots. My in-game name is Tierney Weaver
2. Welcome. I'm looking forward to catch you in game!
3. Yeah, I actually hang out in Mor Dhona when RPing my two Au Ra refugees, and had expected it to become a hub for Au Ra RPers. Was kinda surprised to find no one else there >.< .... A group of auri sometimes roleplay at the refugee camp just outside of Ul'dah, in Central Thanalan, you can try that place. I've been trying to lure people into that spot, but they don't seem interested
4. Feel free to hit me up in game with a /tell. I get on around 1PM EST. Tierney's a jackass, but I think they'll get along just fine.
5. I don't tell people they can't do thought emotes, but I do tell them not to get mad because I don't RP my character as privy to them. No one's doing that. It's just frowned upon and it spams other peoples' chats. It's about being understanding to other people. Or you could just say that you don't give a shit about them, yes, ofcourse.
6. As said, it can lend context, imply what a facial expression would be like etc. Adding depth to actions isn't a problem, I just get mad when people flood their /emotes with thoughts.
7. Including thought in /emotes. That command is there for you to portray your actions and FFXIV is not a forum-based roleplaying platform. If other people can't see/hear/feel your actions, you might aswell put it in the trashcan, or take it to /party. I'm not totally against it, but it just makes me mad when I'm roleplaying in a public roleplay hub. It ends up leading to metagaming. And the sad thing is, some people do this just to make their /emotes look long.
8. Hop on the bandwagon, we will welcome you with open arms. Ishgard LS
9. All Ishgardians are called out to arms by inquisitors and they have to serve their homeland. Otherwise, their families will be held accountable. ... that's Larille's excuse.
10. It isn't crazy, almost everything works in ARR as long as you can sell it to other people. You could tattoo it on a private part of your body, like your hips, your spine, your wrist, your neck(if you're willing to cover it with a scarf) etc. although, it'll most likely cause a certain level of pain/ burning sensation, since the aether is transformed without any filter
11. I'm attending to this one. It'll be fun!
12. Sounds good! I'll try to get in touch with you this evening, EST. All up for it! I'll contact you for more information in game. Thank you alot!
13. I'll try to get in touch with you guys this evening!
14. Hello! Larille is a thirty two years old Elezen man, who masters the arts of lance. His father once served the great House Friont, bannermen of House Fortemps. At a young age, his father injured and rendered himself useless, having to leave Ishgard with a promise. Before he was born, Voilinaut was burdened with his father's task; serving for House Friont on behalf of him. He has been training in Gridania for twelve years, waiting for his days to come. Now that the military campaign is coming closer, Larille has little to no time left. He has to make his way up Coerthas, to do what must be done. Voilinaut is simple and earnest. He is a laid back, forgiving person, who would do anything for the ones that he cares about. He needs a companion to help him overcome the piercing chill of winter on his way to Coerthas. Just a brief preview of Voilinaut! I've ditched the unnecessary information to prevent people from metagaming. If you think that you can get along with Larille/ come up with a possible plot, feel free to leave a message here or add me in game! My timezone is flexible for both EST and GMT.
