After reading the personality on the wiki alone... I think Lyta and Asmo would make quick friends. He would enjoy her bluntness which feel like a breath of fresh air after spending two months up in Ishgard, and dealing with all the backhanded compliments he has dealt with as of late. Also it's a miqo'te that odds are she wouldn't try to hit on him at first sight. That is always a plus.

Asmodean would think Jerciex is a fairly upstanding man. The two both aid other when possible and try to do what's right.... Asmo would just tell him to try to loosen up a bit. Sometimes you have to lay back and relax.

A fun event to watch while messing with the setting for my labtop. Was annoyed IRL making attempts at rp impossible, so sadly couldn't enjoy it to the fullest. At the very least got to feel like I saw an 80s era Man-O-War concert thanks to Nathan. At least I can throw something on the bulletin broad when I'm not getting bother every other minute.

Well uh.... I know have ff14 on PC so yaeh. back faster then I thought. But getting use to keyboard and mouse is going to be annoying due to being so used to playing with a controller.

Nick is a skilled writer and make some great looking logos. I envy the skills.

Currently my ps3 is done for and money problems have led to not be able to return for at least about a month or two. Til then have fun the rest of you. I'll still be about on the forums at least.

Melodia always have something interesting going for her character from what I've seen about the forums. Makes me wish I was able have our characters meet up. The rest do it for me >.>;;;

Asmo would be a fate based NPC like the lighting fates wore. Main difference being would be able to see Asmodean fighting with different weapons for each fate. Think of it as way to show off the different weapon skills of the DoW class. Maybe have a little story to go along with the different fates from area to area as well. Maybe even have him as part of the postmoogle quests.

This is the same for me. I mistype all the time and have horrible spelling. I have been cheating as of late by using a speak to search option om my tablet but when I haven't you can tell. I think faster then I type so I have often missed entire words making post both in game and here very odd to read. T.T As long as you are trying to help by pointing it our via tell then I'm fine with being corrected. Just try to avoid making it look like your calling the person out in the middle of group of others and you should be fine.

Well at the very least I'll get to be there for most of the event. Maybe I'll just have to be to work a bit late so I can see everything. Looking forward to it.

I'd be cool with this. Asmo on the other hand... Asmodean : "WHY IS IT ALWAYS MIQO'TE!?!?" They would get along at least... until the whole sleeping together part. Needs more whiskey.... a lot more. Edit: Then ninja by Aya. Same as about for the most part. Just drop the whole shouting about miqo'te thing.

Following the meta was always the boring part of any TCG in my mind. I at least would make odd tech choice no one else used if I every used something that happened to be meta at the moment. You might want to try Magic Duels as it seems to be doing well. It's on Steam or from the Wizard of the Coast web site. I hope aside new cards are set come out I hope to see the other play formats like Archenemy or Planeschase. For others, Feel free to throw out questions. I'm sure if I can't get them to quickly myself a few others here might answer. MtG has a rich lore and a lot story. Been a lot of fun reading over what I missed for the years I didn't play. So yeah have and questions, just ask. I'd love to answer any I can and maybe get a few new players into trying MtG.

Hmmm... likes Chocolates and dislikes strong booze (whiskey in this case) and quite people. Lets just act like none of this marriage nonsense every happened. We seem just too different. Asmo would start to wonder why people thinking marrying him off as he is clearly trash out of his mind at the moment is a good idea.

I remember the pre-release for Unglued/Unhinged, came in two hours later then normal. Everyone playing was spaced far apart and even seeing a few people get up from game and start to wander around. I was use to se a small group for like five different games going on side by side and see this was just odd. Then I saw Ass Whuppin'. Didn't even have to ask, because the lot of us would just walk over and mess someones entire plan up just because we can thanks to that card. Good times... I really miss playing face to face but it's nice to not have to play another net deck with Duels.

Being a fan of MTG myself and knowing a few others here are as well, I thought a topic like this might be a good idea. First off Magic Duels, the new free to play MTG game is good. I would say if you want to try getting into the game, you should give this game a try. It currently only has about 80% of the most recent set released, Origins, making it easy to get into due to not having to read over tens of thousands of cards from across the many years. At most I think that makes it about 300 or so give or take. As more set are released as real world cards they will add more to the game, making it grow much like the real card game. It brings in two ways of deck building, full free form and game assisted. This game is much like Hearthstone, with daily quests and a max amount of gold you can earn per day from just playing. However, unlike hearthstone there is no card crafting, also well as no trading. While that sounds bad if you have tried HS, once you have the max amount of a card you can not get another copy of it. Rarity is the way you will know the max amount of a card you can have. 4 for common, 3 for uncommon, 2 fro rare and 1 mythic. While I can say I dislike the limit on mythics, I enjoy the fact it means throwing money at the game doesn't reward you anything more then getting to the card you want faster. Over all, I feel like somethings should change, like at least 2 mythics but I do enjoy the game as it is and look forward to seeing how everything plays out. I would again suggest if you want try out MTG, give Magic Duels a try. it have a single player set up with a campaign focused around the five main planewalks the current set is about and a random AI match mode for fun even if you don't want to play against others online. Oh yeah another reason I wanted to make this was due to looking over the favor text of a card I have on hand from the Gatecrash set. I feels like something I would expect Gegenji's Judge to say. "It is forbidden. Asking why is irrelevant." Still my favorite thing about the real cards. Just got to love the favor text.

NO matter who it is Asmo would wonder how much damn whiskey he drank for him to end up married. Asmo would slam his head in for a while thinking himself having a bad dream or something. After a few bells of nothing change he would just sigh. He'd see very quickly how fake his "wife" was. Then he would avoid ever letting her see the aytheic scars that cover the better half of his chest.

This would be Asmo as well. He avoids mounts IC but will use them if he needs to get somewhere fast. Give him something large and heavy and he will run everything over if need be. not his fault if you can get out of the straight line he'll be driving in.

Asmodean would refuse any food. The fact he is alive would annoy him as it would be mean his was captured by the Garlean Empire or some Monetaris bastard. Asmodean would mount the gallows, give a jest to the crowd, a coin the hangman, and make the drop with a smile on your lips. If only to piss whoever it was that wanted him dead, angry with him go out like that at least.

Its hard to really come across a truly underpowered character mainly due to the fact not everyone plays a fighter or magic user. Just because someone plays soloy as crafter something like that, doesn't mean they are underpowered, just different. Not everyone in the world is the same and so RP character shouldn't either. So long as you are enjoying your character, whether or not they are UP, is all that should really matter. ....And reading hammer post makes me a bit worried about my own characters weakness... >.> <.< >.>;;; I really hope it doesn't come off as wanting attention.

The more I read... the more I wonder how the lot of us ended up here. So many people have the same confession, here and there. Now I'm look forward to rp again once I upgrade from ps3 so thanks for the confidence boost all. Also I'll add this from my earlier post. 3. It have for me to make a character that don't have something in common with myself. Be it music taste, way of thinking or just some skill they have, there is at least one thing that links me to them. Lucky for me Asmo seems to the one of the few to only have a single link, that being are love of music.... even if its for different instruments.

As I see now a drinking contest will be part of the event... one small thought comes to mind. How silly would to be the joust winner to be clearly drunk with bits of pie still on his armor from the pie contest? Cause I can not help by laugh at the thought.

Save for one person, I've never really had any one ask out rp out right, but I would blame myself more then anyone else. Had a number of small maybe half hour to hour encounters that has been it. Until I upgrade can't really handle anything longer really. Hope to fix that in a few weeks. I can say I would have a few problems for Asmo once I'm in a better place rp wise due to Asmo refusing to ride mounts unless greatly wounded. Also I avoid teleports for him as well with feeds into his backstory a bit along with where I plan to push him once I get a greater number of contacts. Now as a few other have said... context is important so much as where a meeting might take place. IF I have Asmo IC doing a long term job at _____ city then it would have to be at least somewhere around said city. After all wandering off somewhere with no word to higher up isn't going to make a good name for yourself with those you are working for. Aside from that if you see Asmo feel free to poke him. I have starting to do patrols in the Western Highlands as part of being IC to stay in line with the journal he's been writing. It's been fun just helping a few solo players with fates as I patrol.

Asmodean would enjoy classic rock way too much. Stuff like Iron Maiden and Man O War would just call out to him. In world music however, Asmo has a soft spot of anything done on a piano. He used to play one and hasn't had a chance to see if he can still play or not. He'll also respect a skilled piano player.

Well... looks like I'm taking a day off in Oct. if this is during the afternoon. Seeing as Ul'dah is Asmodean's birthplace, this would be perfect for him. Helping the poor and less fortunate is something he'll always agree with.

This is the best way to go about things. IF you still can't get past that wall take a break of a week or so and if that doesn't help then do it. RP is meant to be fun and taxing.
