    It's not wise to get into real world viability of weaponry when swords, bows, and spears are going toe to toe with guns and winning. The Garleans would have crushed Eorzea ages ago if not for aether allowing people to break the rules. Guns > everything.

    Yes, because the prevailing opinion here was that the Tumblr feminist was wrong, as she just plain wasn't. As a fellow feminist I feel it's not only wrong, but also diverting attention from the real problems in the same way that making an issue out of "Average Joe", "Plain Jane", "Even Steven", etc, would be in a poor effort to be "first to market" in the outrage race.

    I used to cosplay tons. Not so much in recent years. Here's a few I've done.

    Don't wait for or hang around with people who aren't really interested in roleplaying. It's alright for interest to wane now and then, after all no one activity can keep you entertained all the time, so it's ok for RP interest to wax and wane in cycles. But if your circle loses all interest and it starts to rub off on you, move on.

    You're confusing empathy with irrationality. They're separate things. You can be highly empathetic and rational at the same time. EDIT: Also, a ton of "flaws" in this thread arn't flaws at all. They're personality traits. EDIT EDIT: Also that first edit isn't a dig at you Maia. Being unable to make rational decisions because of your feelings is definitely a flaw.

    Having trouble with the end, is it "life you were bestown/bestowed?" or "life you will bestow?" The former makes more sense, but I swear I hear "will"
