Look for Cy'xanne Tora, he's my co-main/alt. If I'm on him (usually mornings- mid afternoon) I'm open. He regularly employs people as he's a Doctor/Historian and when my FC opens when Stormblood arrives, I'm certainly open to having an accountant. Sometimes he may be out with his new girlfriend but definitely hit me up so I can at least get you on his friends list.

Anything that has Ivalice in it tastes better. I'd kill the world for an Ivalice/FFT based FF mmo.

I remember it, I thought about resurrecting it but didn't want to in case many of those names aren't playing anymore. I'll add my info there too, though shouldn't it be pruned first before resurrecting it? We wouldn't want anyone to contact anyone who isn't playing anymore right? I've always played characters that people -have- to rp with one way or another. Meaning they are either tavern owners, bartenders, servers, etc. Other great things include bodyguards, bouncers and others like crafters. Most rpers are shy wallflowers, when you put yourself into situations where you have to talk to people icly it helps you break past your shyness and build up friends. Many roleplayers for example tend to look down upon tavern rp. I think tavern rp is the greatest thing since sliced bread because it allows you to be able to put yourself into social situations. Open world rp will -always- trump isolated house only roleplay because who wants to just hang out with the same people everyday? BORING!!! It also does what tavern rp is supposed to do - which is make in character friends and help to provide roleplay that leads -outside- of the tavern eventually. Playing something as simple a cheerful maid taking orders around the Quicksand does the trick. Just stay positive, don't worry about being ignored and let the rp do the rest. After a while your confidence will build and people will grow to know your character - and remember you don't have to -just- be a maid/server/bartender icly. My character Gideon is a Monster Hunter and Chef! I added the Chef part to force myself to interact with others through his cooking. You can be whatever you want from spying assassin, to cash strapped student or warrior who is working for Momodi part time to buy new books, new armor, paying off a gambling debt at the Gold Saucer or to the Syndicate, whatever you want! The limits are endless. Our lovely Aya right here on these boards is one of the most memorable characters on Balmung there is - and all because she was playing the cheerful barmaid. Its great playing the character that brings even ooc smiles to others faces by their presence and I can say Aya did this for me when she was active in the Quicksand simply just taking orders! Don't look down upon simple rp to open up your possibilities! You are also providing a great rp service to others by playing a role that adds to the immersion of a venue - this is just one way to go, if you can think of others go for it! And this goes for any new roleplayer! Never ever look down on tavern rp, use it to your advantage and to break your shyness and allow yourself to be more confident. Yes, sometimes people will ignore you, but not everyone - just like in real life. Practice makes perfect and you won't learn how to swim by staying on the beach you just have to say screw it and jump right into the water! If you want good rp and want lots of it put yourself in a place where it's going to come to you!

My character Gideon Aryeh is looking to have more Monster Hunters on his contact list to hang out with. At one time there were lots of monster hunting Free Companies that actively roleplayed and it would be kind of cool to have more monster hunting themed rp. So I'm making this post as a way to hook up with fellow Monster Hunters for those who are interested. If I get enough interest I'm even willing to eventually create an actual RP-Hunt Linkshell (that works like an actual Hunt LS) as well as have rp events, drinking nights, organized hunts, etc to go along with this. I'd also love to get my hands on any monster hunting lore from the lore book or anything that anyone can muster up for this thread including lore on the hunt scholars and the like. Anything Monster Hunting related drop it here and hello to my fellow Monster Hunters! This includes any lore on the bulletin board hunts in Ishgard! It would be very cool to be able to have an entire sub culture based on living the life of a Monster Hunter! I'm also looking to join any pre existing monster hunter based rp linkshells!
