Aya's a very wonderful person, extremely nice, kind, and never afraid to engage in RP or drag people into RP! Never afraid to engage in conversation, people should definitely get to know Aya, both ICly and OOCly, if they haven't already! EDIT: And because MBajihri ninja'd me, they're also a great person! Friendly and always willing to help out with content as well as pitch feedback for RP plots and character ideas, they're also a person you should get to know!

Whenever I see Steel Wolf post, it's always very happy or funny, and for that I think they must be quite an awesome person indeed!

I believe they're looking at Tuesday/Wednesday for the next one, so I hope you can attend next time and we'll be able to attend yours! Wish I saw this earlier! Wow, lots of good discussion here. It's interesting to see all the different habits people have and reasoning for their habits. Mine is a little bit tame, I always use " " in /say partly because it's habit itself from both using it in /em and simply from using it so often in writing itself. The other reason why is because I usually pair dialogue with an action in /say and having quotations helps define what's spoken and what's being done.

I. Basic Info Characters:Talan Dracht Primary character:Talan Dracht Linkshells: Heavy RP - OOC, Diabolos' Due Primary RP linkshell: Diabolos' Due II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Medium, as I have a very distinct line when I'm IC (actually being serious and setting a tone/mood for the character) and OOC (generally being an idiot about) As for post length and such: I try to mirror my partner's posts and try to refrain from either flooding or underwhelming with my own posts! Views on RP combat and injuries: RP Combat preferably freeform with OOC communication between both parties! I am willing to do dice-based rolls as long as the results of the rolls (and the fight) is discussed with by the opponent(s). Injuries will be treated realistically! This means healing a broken arm is going to take a looong time, however magic and/or medicine can help speed the process up. If wishing to injure my character(s), please always ask for permission! I'm generally acceptable with anything as long as it makes sense within the context of the RP. Views on IC romance: As long as it makes sense for the character, I'm down for it! Although, good, open communication between the partner OOC is needed, especially if it gets to a point where it may become something more than a summer's love. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): If you wish to be a part of the character's backstory, please send a tell so we can work it out! For most characters I'm willing to change and accommodate loads of retcons and such if it means an RPer wants to be attached in some way! Views on lore: Lore should be followed! I try to stay as lore-friendly as possible, only taking creative freedoms when things might be a bit vague or aren't specifically stated in lore. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): Linkshells can be used for both OOC chat and IC chat. I use a mixture of /say, /em, /yell, and /tell. Using party to separate instances (if two groups were sharing an area for two different storylines) is something I'm keen to in order to avoid confusion, and using /party or /tell in order to keep certain subjects hush-hush is utilized as well! While an optimistic, innocent acting, naive-seeming, and chocobo-enthusiast freelanfer may not seem like the ideal type to meet a fortune teller, Talan is always interested in meeting up with new and interesting folks! Plus I would love to see the interaction between the two as he attempts to understand it on his own terms, I'll have to catch you in game sometime!

I. I hate going into new RP communities, it means getting to learn hidden traditions, unspoken rules, and (eventually) finding out the bad apples of the community. II. On the flipside, I love exploring new RP communities as I get to meet tons of people I never would have had the chance of meeting! This brings along so many new opportunities to create new stories, characters, and even improve the quality of my own writing by collaborating with others! III. The few times I've RPed so far, I've been very anxious whenever anything lore-related comes up mainly because I have next-to-no clue on most of it and don't wish to convey a character that wouldn't (though that may be a possibility). IV. I seriously want to RP a Chocobo Knight, but I know that dream is probably never going to come true. I have been informed that my dream can come true and I will eventually hatch into a beautiful Chocobo Knight.

Hello everyone! My name is ChaosKillerX7 and I'm pretty much a FFXIV newbie. The only real experience I've had with the game was back when the ARR beta was ongoing! However, after following about half of my old friends from GW2 to here, I thoroughly enjoy the game so far! I'm looking forward to meeting all of you (when I get my server transfer) and creating great stories with you all!
