I'm going to be the one who plays devil's advocate here. Just because you're very popular in one game doesn't necessarily translate to any other games. I was popular among an RP guild back on WoW, too - people often wanted to RP with me and my alts. It was nice. Eventually drama split everyone up, but that's beside the point. I came to FFXIV and I was a nobody. Admittedly, I had a foot in the door because I'm good friends with GhostlyMaiden IRL and I knew what I needed to do to find RP and everything. But it wasn't a matter of that alone. Simply and bluntly put, if people don't like your character, they're not going to RP with you. (I mean that in general, by the way. Not necessarily calling you/your character out. CLARIFICATION. Words are hard on this here internet.) I'm not saying that's the cause - don't get me wrong. It might be because you're a Lalafell and people don't take that seriously. It might be because your character doesn't fit into their story. All my connections have come from meeting and interacting with people at the right time in the right place. It's really pure luck. My first character here, Rihxo, was made to be easy to find connections with. If you dive in with a dark and gritty character (for example) as your first one, you're going to have a lot tougher of a time. That's my two cents on it, anyway. I had alts on WoW people loved and some hated. They were scrapped in favor of finding formulas that work. People sometimes hate the new stuff you have to bring to the table, and it's not even necessarily your fault. TL;DR: It may be you or it may be other people. You have to find a happy medium because sometimes your character just won't mesh well with others in that world. This got really long and I'm so sorry

Rihxo would watch all the romantic films and just sob over them with a tub of ice cream. Probably a lot of Titanic and The Notebook. Adelaide would project herself into all of the film noir as the femme fatale character. She'd love to be that girl. Except for the part where they might die. Chinatown, definitely. Arata would watch both romantic films (since she's learning the art of romance, in a way) and also just tons of documentaries.

I think it's fine. This was an idea I had with Rihxo, but I realized she has no idea about magic-y stuff, so I just made it be a special coating on the arrows. It'd basically just be an enchantment on the arrows, IMO.

We only ever talked IC once when you walked in on Rihxo and Ben getting wasted in the Wayfarer's that one night and you were really nice IC! I've wanted to RP again but I've been too nervous to ask.

The blonde scoffed and rolled glowing eyes as she stared down the older-looking Miqo'te. "A bit much? That's most of a bottle of scotch. I mean, really? In public?" A sigh of disdain escaped her lips as her arms crossed under her bust. "You say that like I should know. I just saw them falling, not what caused the fall." Ever perceptive, her gaze shifted to see a familiar red-haired woman trying to make a hasty escape. The Knight smirked, though soon after called out, "Kaaaanakoooo~"

I was under the assumption it's just what they use to toss their turrets and grenades out of. I think they are just guys with a gun but better. They're like um.... batman with a gun. I think I recall their little opening unlock blurb (somewhere early on) that their aether pack allows them to empower their stuff, yeah. I'd look it up but I'm at work, so it'll have to wait.
