Main Character's Name: Sahi Jinjahl, and alternatively, Subaru Mikami. Brief description: Sahi is a male Keeper, jack-of-all-trades for hire and occasional cross-dresser. While he may seem vain and superficial on the surface, he simply keeps his personal issues close. Subaru is a Xaela, formerly of the Hotgo tribe, who participated in the Doman rebellion against the Garlean Empire. She is wandering Eorzea to find her fellow rebels in order to someday reclaim Doma. Usually online: Anytime between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. GMT+1 on weekdays and most of the day on weekends, though I'm most likely asleep between 1. a.m. and 7 a.m. Intensity: Medium, mostly, though I can adjust to either side depending on the RP. I have done forum roleplays for almost 8 years, but I'm still fairly new to RP'ing in MMOs.

I would love to join this LS with Subaru Mikami. She's all in for uniting the Othard people, although she's seeking it in order to reclaim Doma from the Garleans.

Definitely interested! Both Sahi and Subaru are adventuring types - Sahi being a healer who takes on any kind of job where a healer might be needed and Subaru being taking any kind of job where her combat or music skills may come in handy. This sounds like a great idea.

Welcome to Balmung! Sahi is a male Keeper, who grew sick and tired of his clan's way of life and is currently working as a freelance healer. He's a quiet one, but he can be flamboyant is his choice of clothing. While he's of the belief that all sentient beings are equal, he does not approve of the Keeper way of life and he is not very trusting of female Keepers. But he's a nice guy overall. I'm still a newbie to the RP side of FFXIV, but I've been playing for a few years. If you ever need a hand, I'd be happy to help and I would love to RP with you if you're interested. :moogle:

There's not a super active RP community on Phoenix as far as I'm concerned, but I'd be happy to keep you company now and then on Phoenix. I have an alt there I use fairly often. I'm active on Balmung too, in case you should eventually transfer.

Just a little personal vent. Directed at myself. Dear Sahi. For the love of the Twelve, how can you NOT have Swiftcast when you play as a WHM?! It is only now, at level 51, I realize that I'm lacking a vital spell in my arsenal on this character and I'm just left asking myself how in the WORLD I have managed to get to that level without needing Swiftcast! :frustrated: I am utterly baffled and more than a little disappointed in myself. And my fellow healers will probably either laugh at or weep for my failure. My poor excuse is not having played this character since around patch 2.2-2.4, judging by the few pieces of old iLevel 90 gear I have. I picked up a new character around the time Heavensward came out and only returned to my poor Miqo'te boy a short while back. I have grown and I have learned. I promise. And I will be off to level my thaumaturge class to level 26 as to no longer be a disgrace to the WHM class. :cactuar:

I. Basic Info Characters: Sahi Jinjahl, Subaru Mikami, Mikage Tamaori (Phoenix) Primary character: Sahi Jinjahl Linkshells: None Primary RP linkshell: None II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Mostly medium/heavy, but I open for most and I don't mind OOC conversations now and then. I love character and story development, especially when the characters themselves move the story forward. I can always be approached in-game and I'm hardly ever busy with something else. I'm new to RP in MMOs, but not to roleplaying in general. The important thing in RP to me is to cooperate with others to create a story. I do plan on writing a cohesive story about my characters eventually, but I would also like to get involved in an RP storyline. Views on RP combat and injuries: I'm fine with both combat and injuries, severe ones as well, as long as there is no permanent character death. Whether it's something we work out in the roleplay or roll at random, injuries are always fine. In direct combat, Sahi is anything but strong, so he'll be prone to injuries unless he has a piece of armor between himself and the enemy. Subaru, on the other hand, in quite skilled in combat and is far from a pushover. Views on IC romance: Romance is always welcome. It can bring out other sides in a character and I love that, as long as the RP isn't 100% focused on romance. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): I'm always open to giving a character new ties with others, whether it's friends or family. For Sahi, it might be hard to make someone a family member, but he might have some distant relatives roaming Eorzea. For Subaru, it could be a surviving clan member or someone she knew in Doma, perhaps from the rebel group she was part of. Views on lore: While I've been delving into the lore a lot, I'm not incredibly well-versed in it. If I make obvious or game-breaking mistakes in the lore, feel free to correct me. I like to stay as true to established lore as possible, but I'm open to different interpretations as well as building onto lore that is still very scarce. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I use the chat function for both communicating through speech and emotes. I can always be approached and talked to, since I'm rarely busy in the game. Greetings everyone! I'm a mostly casual roleplayer with previous RP experiences from mostly textbased MMORPGs, although. I've been playing FFXIV a bit on-off since patch 2.1 or 2.2 if memory serves me right, but for the past year, I've been playing more frequently, mainly due to the great community. However, since I have a passion for roleplaying, I recently decided to transfer one of my former 'main' characters to Balmung, since I intended for him to be a roleplay character from the beginning. His name is Sahi Jinjahl and he'd love to meet a bunch of fellow Eorzeans, I'm sure. He's already a seasoned character and well on his way towards new adventures in Ishgard. In regards to other characters, I keep my other 'main' character, Mikage, on the Phoenix server. I might bring her into roleplaying eventually, once I've established more of her character. Just in case I'm lucky enough to find a few fellow roleplayers from Phoenix. Behind Sahi, well... there's an easily distracted and at times pretty absent-minded person. At the moment, there's some personal health issues (and an education) that's keeping me a bit short on time for playing FFXIV, buuuuut keeping contact by other means are always possible. I'm an avid cosplayer (though I have yet to do anything FF-related, whoops) and I LOVE sewing, I write in my spare time and I'm a big fan of the older FF-games. Particularly IX. I can talk about pretty much anything and you MIGHT have to ask me to shut up now and then.
