Ame: She would respond depending on the person, but if it was a man, or a stranger she would probably blush, panic and maybe faint. She does not do well with physical contact and can barely manage something so simple as a cheek kiss. Jellal: One would receive a 'Don't fucking touch me' glare, but that would probably be it. If his wishes were respected that would be the end of it, if the person tried again, they would end up with the barrel of a gun in their face rather quickly. Dalain: -headbutts- Irregardless of gender or reason. Angry little Xaela does not like affection. N'akani: "Just the cheek?" She would most likely flirt with the person. Tsirae: He would accept it as a form of greeting and probably remain unphased by it. That is not unusual for nobility, and would be nothing special to him. Kilanii: "You'll need to buy me a drink first." While not overly interested in contact, she would not become angry or defensive unless the person continued to be pushy beyond the cheek kiss. Then they'll get a swift hit from her axe.

If you're still looking for practice I have a couple to choose from:

Dalain is obsessed with Seashells. She loves them and uses them to craft. As a Xaela of the Ejinn tribe, she is capable of swimming deep and spending hours searching for the right shell. Once she has acquired one of interest she uses it to craft. Sometimes as jewelry or decoration for armor or spears. On rare occasions she gives the crafted item as a gift. This is incredibly significant since Dalain is not the most friendly, nor does she make bonds with others since losing her mate. If it does happen, she must have great trust and care for the person.

For me I look for little details, maybe a quote, something to catch my interest. Certain races also catch my interest more, or just a character that is kind of unique looking. I also watch other people rp to see a bit of their style. I like people who use "s when there is dialogue. I also look for people who would be an interesting fit for my own characters to meet. As far as deterrents, tags that only say 'rp' cause it gives me nothing of interest. I avoid any that have erp tags. Not my thing and I don't want to deal with it since that's usually what they seem to want, and I want character building and interesting conversation not smut. tl;dr - Have something interesting in the tag don't be an erper and I'll probably try and rp with you.

Style (pick one): [slice of Life] Spirit (pick one): [Humerus] Tone (pick one): [Light] Anything Specific you might want: Okay so, I'm very new to the game and the lore (but not to rp, I've been rping for a very long time) But this character is not entirely fleshed out, so I'm trying my basic plan first and seeing how that flows. If for some reason anything I allude to is not really lore-friendly please tell me so I can change it. There really shouldn't be an issue, but I like to be safe and warn the person in advance.

I really wish I could remember the person's name, but recently I started on an Astrologen. I have never healed in this game before as I played a black mage until I was into heavensward content. While pugging a roulette I was still trying to figure out ways to rotate through the group members for my card buffs and flip back to the tank quickly enough to heal mid fight (especially cause I sometimes lag so clicking with the mouse is delayed during some big fights when it's most important to be fast). I was struggling, and one of the dps took me aside while we had a drink break for the tank and explained to me his entire rotation on his Astro, what worked best for him and his key binding set up. It really helped, and he coached me through the rest of the instance via tells so I could focus on learning the heal and managing my keys without stressing out. It was super appreciated because I was worried I'd be yelled at by the group for being a little slower/unsure of my skills. Now I enjoy healing and I've yet to come across someone super rude.
