  1. I can finally stalk everyone, mwahahaha!
  2. Great post. I'm introverted and have to push myself to RP with people not known to me. It can get rather nerve wracking at times (even on my super outgoing alt because I'm totally 'faking it' with her) and this was the nudge I needed to dive in again. Thank you!
  3. Yay, lalas! Welcome to the RPC and Balmung! ^^
  4. You'd already had some fantastic responses but I just wanted to say that I've been in the same position as you, and it ended up pushing me away from leading a guild. Same problems as you, too stressful and made the game more like a job than something I do for fun. I'd say do what makes you happy. If that means a small and focused guild, so be it, and haters be damned.
  5. Oh god. I can't unsee it. Welp, time to find some new RP clothes!
  6. I'm glad for this thread because I was wondering the same. If you strip off the T from my alt, T'yareth, I don't think it sounds nice at all. A lot of her non-Seeker friends have also nicknamed her "T'ya", which she doesn't mind, and (to me) sounds much better than "Yareth". She'd probably not correct someone if they called her the latter but yeah, I prefer to keep the prefix.
  7. Rinh will eat just about anything so long as it's expertly prepared with fine ingredients. However, having spent so much time on the coast, blackened sea bass has become one of her favourites. She's been known to go without eating if the only option is cheap or tasteless. Of course, her appreciation for a fine red wine is well known amongst her friends. T'yareth, on the other hand, is just happy to have a full tummy but she does prefer meat, especially fatty dodo. Sweet treats and fruits are foods she would tend to avoid but, if that's all on offer, she isn't going to turn it down. As for beverages, simple ale suits her down to the ground.
  8. Welcome to the RPC and Balmung!
  9. Welcome and good to see another NWNer about!
  10. Regarding my weaving class, I'm very busy with work at the mo so I'm not sure I'll be able to set one up for awhile. If somebody else is interested in holding a weaving class, by all means, go for it!
  11. Welcome to the RPC! For server choice, I believe Gilgamesh has the smaller community but I don't know from personal experience. You could always roll a character on each and see how it goes?
  12. Pretty sky and orange glowing stuff during TCRP's trip around La Noscea.
  13. Whilst I'm intensely mildly disturbed by your love of spiders, welcome to the RPC and Balmung! Just don't send your tarantulas after me please.
  14. Another oldie like me haha, I'm 33 this year and grew up on the same games. Welcome to Balmung and the RPC!
  15. Welcome aboard, hope you're having fun!
  16. Haha I'll be there, would love to see if anyone can actually make Rinh laugh.
  17. Apparently I have no choice in learning from the great master Avalt, unless I want to be hexed, so sign Rinh up!
  18. Every time I hear that I just think of all the other women I've met in Neverwinter Nights persistent worlds, WoW, GW and FFXIV, to name a few. My old WoW guild was even ~75% female at one point, with all the leaders being women. I also remember there was once someone in trade chat who claimed girls don't play or, if they do, they play badly and a bunch of women piled onto him. Shut him up pretty fast haha.
  19. In that case, I'd definitely like to do Weaving once a month, perhaps the last Saturday of the month, at maybe 9 pm GMT (4 pm EST). I'm not sure if that's an inconvenient time for NA players but, if it is, someone else could always run another class at a different time?
