Bored and curious to know if one of the rings from the DC Universe/Green Lantern Canon came to Eorzea and to your character which one of the rings would your character have? For those not familiar with the Universe here is a [link] to the Emotion Spectrum so you can look up and see which one fits your character. Being a Guardian and wanting to protect. Giving hope to those that have none S'kenta, Red Lantern Romoka, Blue or Red

What I have so far is. I kind of have it that she can still locate the stars thanks to her mother's teaching, but doesn't really preform Sharlayan Astrology much due to possible threats lurking in the shadows and since she is kind of a fugitive along with her "Family" . She does have a divining deck hidden away with her star globe. She was indeed born in Sharlayan, but born among a bunch of Gypsies that had a different set of thinking then most natives

Hey! Thought I'd ask you guys thoughts on a concept of a character I have. She is a WIP so things may change after further research. Kind of want to try a Gypsy Type of Character. I may have some lore errors here and if you could point them out and help make this character more decent so she can be appropriate for Future RP? Tbe only thing I can remember from the Astrologian Job Quests is that the Sharlyan's aren't too keen on sharing their talents with Eorzeans. Haelstyrn Swyrmoenwyn Age: 20 Bio: Haelstyrn was born to a pair of Gypsies that hail from Sharlyan. The Gypsies Families consist of many races and often times live together in one big group. Sharlyan Gypsies are said to be wanted in the motherland for using Astrology to deceive and trick the gullible. Making a Mockery of their art. Her mother and father were both Fortune Tellers and lured in the gullible for gil. Haelstyrn. The Roegadyn was taught to read the stars and even hold a Star Globe herself. However, in fear of Sharlyan Spies out looking for them they cast away their globes for other weapons. In Haelstyrn’s case she took up Conjury and spends her time in Gridania. Personality: Haelstyrn is an odd woman. She speaks in a soft dreamy like tone which rarely become sharp unless you hit a topic that means something to her. She wears a mask of indifference due to her being taught to do so in the face of authority, but on occasion shows of a small smile of frown. She has little concern on what people say about her when it comes to her interests and that being her love for the strange. It also doesn’t help that she keeps to herself a lot. So yeah Constructive Criticisms would be loved

So I have a question for you RPers? How do you guys feel about creating Pre- Established Relations with other characters? What are your thought on peeps that do it? Do you think it can be helpful to new or shy rpers? Does make it worse? Do people even do it and if so is it frowned upon? I've been wondering if I should do it or not because it can be easier to to skip all that introduction and instead of thinking of a way to just have a first meeting you can just get right into without all that awkward first time talk, but just curious on your thoughts

As the title says. Curious if there is anyone in Sargatanas or in Faerie that RPs. I have two Characters in both servers and wouldn't mind making some connections if possible

I have a few issues the main ones being 1. Mostly just being afraid to approach. You are all terrifying. OH GOD DON'T TOUCH ME..lol, but yeah. The typical anxiety that some peeps have about approaching. 2. I usually like to plan out RPs before attempting because I don't do well with Random Walk ups. Most of the time I don't know where to go with it and it fizzles out into nothing. 3. Kind of feel like my characters are a bit incomplete. Like there is something more I could add to them making them more interesting I pretty much don't bother trying because of this which kind of sucks cause I see people talk about cool events that happen with their characters.

Due to him being raised by one since he was a child he tends to act as if he was one. For the most part he is a pretty friendly individual, but can get a bit competitive. He'll take any bet as long as it doesn't get him killed or in serious trouble. Meta Profile A Miqote raised by Roes instead of Hyurs. The creation of this character was kind of inspired by a topic on this forum about adopted Miqos and so this one was born. Would like to test out this character at some point and get his personality down. Unlike most people if RPing In-game I'm not much of a fan of Walk-Ups at least not for the first time. I prefer first times to be plotted out and the times after can be Walk-Ups If you ever want to just hang out with a loud mouthed Miqo. (Trying out my other character) The sound of the waves and bird squawking were common in Limsa. Along with the sounds of people wondering the area and of course the occasional drunkard stumbling out of the Drowning Wrench. Cue a Keeper Male resting near the Aetheryte crystal in broad daylight. He seemed to be laying on the side and resting peacefully. That is until a loud noise suddenly rang out. The sound woke him up and being caught off guard by it he nearly fell over the side and into the water below. He managed to cling on and return to his spot "Oi! What the bleeding hells was that noise!?" The irritated man looked for the source of that sound. It sounded like an explosion of some sort

Unfortunately Maetikoel isn't in Balmung at this moment because I'm not completely sure if I'm going to transfer him over that being said I don't mind roleplaying as him on the forums.

Tis, but one of many stories that are told in Gridania. About a Tainted Tree that captured unfortunate adventurers and travelers. Draining them of their life force and using it to gain sustenance so it could continue to collect other victims. The story is often told when the people gather to listen to stories from returning Gridanians from their travels or to just listen to a tale that brings a bit of fright. Mayhaps you wonder why this is brought up? Several Gridanidan’s have seemingly gone missing. At the moment a total of four people have gone missing. Linoux Gruidin (Age: 27 Elezen Wildwood) Riotoux Phipuveur (Age: 34 Elezen Wildwood) Mildrith Warrer (Age:24 Hyur) U'charyu (Age:25 Keeper Miqo’te) . The last they were heard was supposedly either taking a stroll in the Twelveswood or traveling to other parts of the Shroud. Ellane Lautain, a Wood Wailer and partner to Lunoux Gruidin said that during their shift that her and Lunoux heard a queer noise and went to investigate. She reported that in a blink of an eye something came out and attacked them both and dragged the poor Elezen male away. She tried to chase after him, but was unable to save him as he disappeared into the forest The Elder Seedseer has been made aware of this and has stated that something will be done about this. This has the people of Gridania very concerned for there safety and it has been ordered that adventurers should be on the look out and to those not capable of fending for themselves will be escorted to one place or another by a members of the Twin Adder. Many people believe that this is the work of some evil group using the story of the Wicked Wood to frighten the people, but some believe this tale to be true. We hope that this can be solved quickly and pray to the twelve that the missing people are found alive and well.
