Chiané: (Balamug) Well she traveled a bit after Bahamut destroyed everything, though primarily kept to the Shroud/Xephatol/Twelveswood area- though in 5 years, I'd not be surprised to learn she headed south too- if there was good reason. I'd say any DW could have run into her at some point. She's not reclusive, but she's quiet and keeps to herself. Recently... Those with the interest, might have seen her skill in woodworking or visiting the Carpentry guild. She is resuming her training as a Pugilist... so might notice her 'round there. She also plans on working archery and lances. T'kyiah: (Gigglemesh) So.. Kya's just come out of her tribe in the Sagolii due to the leading of a dream telling her to head to Gridania. Naturally... she'd have to go overland to Ul'dah, spend a bit of time making gil to hire a guide to take her into the Shroud... She's a Goldsmith, Alchemist and Lancer- could likely find her those places. Not big on the Dancing Miqo crowd (she's pretty proud of her roots and tribe and doesn't understand why City Miqo would give that sense of family up.. and sell themselves to the highest bidder). You could also have seen her running amok in those places getting into messes she -might- not be able to get out of....

Yanno.. One thing I noticed tonight as I was messing with the CC Benchmark... If you tab out and come back, your score leaps up. A -lot-. I was derping with stuff (mainly b/c I'm ticked I can't get to BIOS to clean install windows and so am trying to tweak stuff)... and started the Benchmark, was at.. erm 500+ (beginning), tabbed out to look at my Task Manager to see how my memory, CPU usage all that is working... Came back and was over 12k... and the BM was still going. If I didn't tab out, I pulled around 3k. On Standard. (which is why I really need to clean install my rig... my components aren't crap) ... won't derail further with my annoyance at my rig... Just wanted to mention the bug... or whatever it is.

well... you can just let folks know about the eye rings for RP purposes, so people can handwave and 'see/notice' it. Earrings autoslot to the ears, rings to the fingers, necklace to the neck. Sorry... cheek/brow/tongue/nose/nipple/multiple ear/belly etc... not 'visually' possible

My SS Miqo'te female: T'kyiah Soren My DW female: Chiané Naevioux (of the N'Ardenté Clan) Notes: * pronounced: she-an-AY Nah-voh (nard-Doh) * Chiané, I admit, was inspired by Chani from Dune *shrugs* * Naevioux is a play off of Nouveau, meaning new... which is a surname she gave herself to protect her clan * N'Ardenté is a smoosh of Nuée Ardente- which is a geological phenomenon. Literally means 'glowing cloud' but is specific to the destructive cloud of superheated ash, debris and so on produced by a volcano

Name: Chiane N'Ardenté Race/Clan: Duskwright, Clan N'Ardenté Age: 23 Professions: Archmage (with preference to Black), Monk Hair: Dusky blue-green with red-purple highlights, long reaching to her mid back. Long, thick bangs kept neatly trimmed around her eyebrow level. Eyes: mid-light green Skin: Creamy Bluish-grey, bears an angular scar on her chin, and a smattering of fine linear scars along her forearm, knuckles, shins: faded with age to almost indiscernible. Height: 72.2" Figure: Shapely, toned, athletic Clothing: Well-cut, stylish soft leathers and robes. Colors are often darker shades, so as to compliment her skin- and to help her blend in. Her personal code is: Honor before Self; Clan/Family before Self; Blood before Self. * Has been known to raid Garlean encampments for 'source material' and magitek bits. * Often travels alone, but might also be seen with a few Duskwrights of ...questionable... behaviour. Admit... a bit annoyed and frustrated. Ok. Pissed is more like it. Built my rig a year ago now and purposefully told the guy helping me get my components that I wanted the best possible to prevent me from having to upgrade anytime soon... My Benchmark numbers don't come close to 9k. Not even on Standard. Sure, it runs fine. Had no issues on High in Beta 3... but Come On! Would a new Vid card do it? or do I need to invest in more RAM sticks? AND... (while on the subject..) What is better? Two of the same Vid cards bridged (decent/good ones) OR! One awesome vid card?

I've been working the past three days, but have been working on Chiané's story. I've not worked out all the kinks yet, but she will have been a member of the N'Ardanté Clan. So far, two member player characters. Will work on the wiki when I get home.
