Greetings Hydaelyn Roleplayers! I'm Silk and I've actually never posted here despite being a lurker so go easy on me. n___n; Like most of you I'm a huge fan of this game and my Free Company (The Lunar Crew) and I have decided to open our downstairs cafe to the public! I plan to host a PF to advertise in game but I thought it would be nice to invite the FFXIV RP community to stop by during our opening hours, which will be: Tuesdays, 9pm-11pm EST Fridays, 10pm-12am EST We'll have live entertainers (music, dancers), table and booth seating, and a bar to sit at as well. Our staff will be distinguished by the "Meld" tag so there's no confusion in case people come in using the RP tag. I hope to offer a pleasurable, relaxing, and fun experience for anyone who stops by - whether you're new to RP Cafes in game or a veteran, please - I invite you to join us tomorrow night! untilAs you know, the holidays are coming up, and what better way to celebrate it than getting together for a night of mirth and gift giving? The Wayfarer's Rest is inviting all of its members to come together and participate in a secret sender gift giving event. We are opening sign ups for our Winter Exchange event on November 17th, and they will remain open till November 30th! When signing up for this event, you are required to send @FreeJayFly a list of three to five items that you can get in-game. These items can vary in needed crafting material or Market Board price, but they must be obtainable and tradeable in some fashion. When writing up your list, we ask that you do what you can to not make all of your items unreasonably priced (i.e. putting all items on the list that cost over a million gil each). You can put one item up that is one of those "god, I would really love to have that, but it's super expensive for me to get" on there, and hope for the best, but remember that item is not guaranteed by the person that will end up being your gifter. On December 1st, all participants will be given a random person and their created wishlist to fulfil by December 31st. While not asked to get everything on the list that is given to you, you do have to get at least one of the requested items. By signing up, you agree that you will have your character participate in this event in some fashion -- the very minimum of participation being that all you do is give your recipient their gift(s) via Moogle Delivery, or trading them directly. Failure to meet the criteria by the end date will unfortunately mean denial into future events similar to this one. On December 31st, we will be having an in-character session starting at 2PM CST at the Rest where characters can exchange their gifts with one another, and comment or converse on it if you simply want to partake in it for fun, further character growth and development, and / or as a means for creating better connections. -
You are invited to the Wayfarer's Rest located in the 2nd Ward on Plot 27 of Shirogane on the 18th of the Fourth Umbral Moon to meet with the Company Leader, Officers, and other members of our humble organisation. With the nature of our Company, we would love to have an actual get together to meet all the new faces and formally introduce ourselves to everyone that has been met and accepted being brought under our banner, so to speak. While much of the event will be taking place within the Wayfarer's Rest, we also have easy access to the lovely, scenic beach of Shirogane, and will also have some events going on down that way for those of you who are interested! While we are holding this event to formally welcome our newest members, if you are not a part of the Wayfarer's Covenant and have interest in participating in our party, don't feel shy about showing up! We will be happy to welcome anyone who wants to enjoy the festivities with those of our Company! We will have refreshments within the house that everyone will be able to partake in to their heart's desire till all of it is gone! So certainly don't feel shy about eating or drinking your fill if it pleases you! That's certainly what they will be there for! Hoping to see all of our new travellers, adventurers, drifters, and wanderers there! -Primam Chorus Hello and welcome to the first event post of the FC! We're all super happy and excited to have new members with us, as growing our community means a lot to us, and we hope that we come to mean a lot to you in turn! To mark the occasion, we're having a celebration all day on August 18th for our members, new and old! If you have friends that are interested, but are part of another FC or not part of one, we'll also be happy to have them! For those of you who might not have access to Shirogane just yet, we do have a role in our FC that is temporary that we'll be happy to put you in if you are okay with that, just so you can easily travel to Shirogane and participate in events with us! We'll have celebratory gifts and shenanigans that we will hand out for everyone to join in on the fun! We also implore you not to feel bad if you cannot do an all day event -- if you can do it for just an hour or less and are interested, that is totally fine! You are, by no means, being forced to partake in this Free Company event! We simply hope that this event breaks the ice for a lot of newer members, and allows for you to make new RP partners and friends. There should be at least one of the FC Officers on to help direct the event at the house and on the beach in the ward where the Wayfarer's Rest is located! If not, we might have taken off to get a few extra things for the event, or to take a break and focus on other things! If none of us are on, we ask that you take the initiative with one another and form bonds -- either between players or characters! Either way is great!

untilC'leyla, a wandering healer had approached the Lady of the Shroudrose Teahouse requesting help in finding her staff that had been stolen within the markets of Ul'dah. The staff is white with traces of copper, decorated with colorful feathers and a blue crystal embedded within the body. After asking around for any possible witnesses, a few things have become known. One: Threats have been made and some workers refuse to venture outside the city gates for fear of getting cursed. Two: Many crystals and items with magical properties have been stolen from merchants within the city and caravans before reaching the city. Three: A male Hyur with dark hair was seen with a staff similar to the one described by the client, the crystal within a perfect match. Chances of being a duplicate: Zero. Four: The collection of this many magical items could become very dangerous in the wrong hands. It is unknown if the man in question works by himself or with a group.
