Arcanists/scholars (at least as portrayed through MSQ and most of the players I have met) are not really the witchy type... They are more of scientists and mathematicians, relying more on numbers and calculations over rituals and mysticism.

 

Same with alchemists.

And the type of arcanists and alchemists that would be interested in this aren't going to be a part of the guilds, or at least put much stock in them outside of the minimum that's required.

 

Also, I disagree: arcane magic + fairy or primal essences is pretty damn witchy as far as I'm concerned. Same goes for brewing up concoctions with various herbs, no matter how exact it is (think tribal Miqo'te). There's an air of mystery that suits the vision perfectly, especially when the focus isn't so much spirituality as it is educated magics safely banded together.

 

The bottom line is: I want these people here. I have no intention of barring anyone from joining the table outside of black mages for obvious reasons.

So I've finally gotten around to messaging and inviting everyone interested (Sorry for the delay, life hasn't exactly been... cooperative for RP pet projects as of late) except for Dogberry, Dasair and Scaraphae. Will try to find y'all tomorrow, but feel free to send me a /tell first if you can!

Oh, I didn't know I was being looked for. Sorry, I've only been on fairly late hours recently. (post 10pm EST into the early mornings) But I'll try to catch your character on whenever I log in. :> I'd be playing Xavarian Mystrife, if that helps.

 

... I-I also realize that the linkshell since became 'good-aligned'. Um. ... *sweats*

 

Is it still ok to join if my character is waaay more in the grey / neutral area? Like. He's not good. He's not bad. But he's.. nice. ...Usually.

I am super sorry for not seeing this post before but yes, this is something Delial Grimsong would be interested in. She used to be part of a small coven when she was young and is actually very much in the market for re-establishing those roots, as it were.

No worries! I've only had time today to really start looking. Will poke around in the evening, then.

 

And yes, neutral is totally fine! Vetiver isn't exactly a saint, herself. :3
