Don't do it.(or do, it'll give my character a reason to hunt your ass down and become famous for proving vampires exist. Though the more likely outcome is that she becomes the laughingstock of hunter-scholars for bringing in a mentally ill freak and claiming they were a mythical creature.)

Side note, I love how the mods haven't done a thing about the OP making personal attacks on people who disagree. Way to uphold the rules

EDIT: oh wow, "low-effort" shitposting is also rampant and a mod is participating in it. Well done.

"Don't do it" isn't much advice either, if I may point that out.

Technically, as it has been pointed out, you "can" do it - you're technically free to try RPing anything you want - but depending on how far it deviates from the lore will result in how open other people will be to it. Plenty of more "lore-abiding" methods have already been touched on, including references to vampires already mentioned in lore, that might be better than the option originally presented.

And, on the mod side, we've seen notifications regarding the OP's comments and are already discussing the matter. "Calling us out" for not getting to it at the speed you feel is required is not appreciated.

Also we got to talk about pooping in hot tubs.

Which is hilarious.

Don't do it.

I mean I'm not going to do it.

(In /my/ hot tub at least )

Well, sir, I'll have you know that if I see you at Bronze Lake, I'll certainly go elsewhere for my spa needs.

Ugh, can't a man share a bath with other men without talk of shit?

Yes, but.

They mention something about being "no lesser" a couple for their racial difference, so it most likely alludes to that, but they could have also easily been run out for their homosexuality (or perhaps both)

Homosexual relations are not demonstrably looked down upon in lore. All signs point to the opposite, in fact.

Mixed race couples, however, are freaks civilized society does not tolerate.

And where is your proof to back up the latter?

You're using Ishgardians as proof? The xenophobes of XIV? Hahaha.

At the very least, put on the mod hat and remind people to keep their asses in line while you work your behind-the-scenes magic, instead of contributing to off-topic shitposting.

You mean other than the numerous statements by devs of interracial hatreds and how those affect every Eorzean society to a deep and meaningful degree, the quest outlined above which explicitly shows two people cast out of their societies for their interracial relationship, and the treatment of Hilda as (for lack of a better word) sub-human because she is the product of an interracial coupling?

Now, with that all said, I think it's perfectly reasonable for exceptions to arise and strike out against the grain. If it's your belief that I think otherwise, I believe you may be confusing me for another "Val" on this forum.
