Kellach Woods Posted January 16, 2015 Share #6 Posted January 16, 2015 I like this patch overall. Link to comment
Clover Posted January 16, 2015 Share #7 Posted January 16, 2015 The excitement is real! My favourite part of the new patch notes is the adding of new hairstyles. All the male ones are too good. New armour doesn't do anything for my main character, truth be told, so I'm not crazy about them. Aaaand I'm both curious and scared about the new PVP mode, but ultimately I'm glad that PVP level didn't raise. Link to comment
TheLastCandle Posted January 16, 2015 Share #8 Posted January 16, 2015 Those new dungeon drop sets. Everybody who was hoping for the Qarn HM armor including the helmet, thou art REDEEMED Link to comment
Kage Posted January 16, 2015 Author Share #9 Posted January 16, 2015 I said that after the trailer! We'd get them~ For those who are interested in Odin. http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Primal_Fear Link to comment
Telluride Posted January 16, 2015 Share #10 Posted January 16, 2015 Those new dungeon drop sets. Everybody who was hoping for the Qarn HM armor including the helmet, thou art REDEEMED Is that the Monk and Ninja gear on the two to the far left? I call that a want. The far right, though... I have a sudden image of Roegadyn males selling scrolling ad space on what is otherwise an odd piece of chest ornamentation for them. Link to comment
Steel Wolf Posted January 16, 2015 Share #11 Posted January 16, 2015 Awe yeaaaahh...the iLevel requirement for this new tasty is actually within my reach! I need to get ST in, though. Time for the hype!! Link to comment

Everybody who was hoping for the Qarn HM armor including the helmet, thou art REDEEMED Is that the Monk and Ninja gear on the two to the far left? I call that a want. I'd wager the far left is Ninja, just next to it is Dragoon and the second from right is Monk! Using the head pieces as my guessing point. Link to comment

Looks like all 3 melee DPS are getting the same set recolored, but at least the head pieces are different. Link to comment
Sounsyy Posted January 16, 2015 Share #14 Posted January 16, 2015 Am I the only one excited one of the new Moogle Delivery Quests looks like it's going to focus on Wawalago??? THE WAWALAGO PULLERS ARE BAAAAAAAACK! =D Also, totally thought of D'ly when I saw Mist vendors are adding a Dodo Nest item. Guess what I'm not excited for. Talan has new DoH/L MH items... I just got my Ironworks Fishing Rod... I don't want to replace it already! And I have to farm Gigant Clams to get it?? Merp... Oh well... Guess I'll make that 113 Big Fish... Link to comment
Aduu Avagnar Posted January 16, 2015 Share #15 Posted January 16, 2015 Click here for the notes~ Text only version The last two quests are ??? for Spoilers. Odin is included in the "Chronicles of a New Era" header but not the chain itself? Syrcus tower starts that off "Shades of Sil'dih" and "Sibling Strife" better be more info about Telediji. The new quest for when you've collected all the ponies is here! now Ineed to try and farm all the primals in any case, we can now have our own shops at personal/FC houses!!! also, Desynth levels no longer decrease unless you are at the maximum drop rate for ponies increased!!! yaaaaaaas and my final point - It says that recipes have been added to existing Master Books, but nothing about new Master books being added.... YAY Link to comment

Also, Miqo'te looks more BRD to me. It's the hat. I think the Highlander must be... DPS caster? The garb looks like a darker version of the white gear, which is a duality that's been done before. Think Miqo'te is actually BLM/SMN, while Highlander is BRD. It would follow the SCOB caster/BRD trend + color scheme. Also, the hat the Miqo'te is wearing is actually the Maelstrom Allied Seal Mage Hat. For some reason, SE loves giving BRDs eyepatches... Link to comment

They are both recolours of the Healer one, the middle one looks more caster to me, given it has that hat! (and the other has an eyepatch) Link to comment

Oroban Posted January 16, 2015 Share #25 Posted January 16, 2015 I know they're only prelim patch notes, but the lack of exposition on the two different item lockouts in WoD has me mildly concerned. I guess we'll see come next week! Link to comment
