Shoshopu Posted February 20, 2015 Share #76 Posted February 20, 2015 Shoshopu's definitely had a hand in killing a Garlean or several (I'm trying to remember if she's personally solo'd one or had the killing blow and I'm drawing blanks). She tries not to think about the implications of it, though. I think, in her opinion, the worst thing she's ever done is lie to the Captain of her Free Company. It was a white lie to protect a friend, but a lie nonetheless. edit: Some other things she's done (but doesn't personally consider as bad as lying) are help her older brothers steal food occasionally and gamble, during the first few years after the Calamity when her family had to live on the streets of Ul'dah. The youngest of her four older brothers became a pugilist and would enter fighting competitions and they'd all place bets on him. Link to comment
Gaspard Posted February 20, 2015 Share #77 Posted February 20, 2015 Ho boy. The list would be massive, Considering Constantine was at odds with 'societal' norms from the get go. In his earlier ages he had ammassed a big streak of 'sins' so to speak. Lust; Thorough. In his early ages he's had his hand in a brothel or two, doing his bit to promote prostitution and the likes. Privately he's not much better. Very 'corrupted', so to speak. And therein enjoys corrupting others aswell. Nowadays though he tends rather to 'lure' people into such things. A very convincing, suggestive devil rather, until you suddenly find yourself in so deep you find little ways to get back out. Greed; Not in the financial sense, but certainly in a more philosophical 'concept of power' aspect. For a long time he's had a very steadfast desire to control everyone and everything in his life/proximity, which led to more then just one issue down the road, and one person..well, suffering under it. Wrath; Another of those 'Been there, done it bits'. Again, ties into his sadism. Envy; Also ironically a big one for him. While he 'felt' very in tune with himself, and has by now fully accepted himself for what he is and what he does, there was a time where he dreamt of those easy 'farm lifes' people dreamed upon, to settle with family, loving friends and simply living life in an easy, honest way. Coercion / Psychological Corruption; Perhaps the biggest one in this list. While not truly a Sin in itself, it's the one thing he does predominantly now. While, back in the day he would do alot of the 'dirty / wet work' himself, He's now become more of an alluring figure, Able to make you understand just why you should shank this specific competitor of yours, why it's your right to do so, why you would enjoy it and how it's just the natural course of things. That would cover the sins, if we'd go into established crimes ; Murder (Bountiful), Psychological torment/torture (Because an easy death can be a reward, and he makes sure it never is once he settles on actually killing someone personally. Which is very rare nowadays) Theft. Bribing officials. Extortion. ..So yeah, that's a handful. Makes him seem a bit of a one-trick pony with the whole darker themes going on. But alas, the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was making people believe he didn't exist, and that's pretty much part of him. To the general public, he makes sure that he appears like a simple, deep pocketed merchant or business figure. Link to comment
SessionZero Posted February 20, 2015 Share #78 Posted February 20, 2015 The closest Reilan has ever come to killing someone who didn't deserve it is the few times he's hunted and killed heretics. His real "bad" sins are flirting with women in taverns just to lead them on, because he thinks it's amusing, and then just up and leaving when their interest is piqued, and being kind of a subtly racist prick to other races because he's Elezen and Ishgardian and therefore one of the "holy people". He sees Ul'dahn Lalafell merchants as petulant children playing politics in their sandbox, Miqo'te have little more use than entertainment, Hyur are impudent upstarts that have encroached on land ordained by the Twelve to be ruled by the Elezen, and Roegadyn are good meat shields and little else. Now, he won't straight up say that to your face, but he's thinking it. Heeeee's thinking it. Link to comment
Cliodhna Eoghan Posted February 20, 2015 Share #79 Posted February 20, 2015 New Character Goal: Sounsyy takes Chacha out for heavy drinking. Forget about liberating Ala Mhigo, Chacha needs corrupting! >=U i can help with that.... Link to comment
DreamedReality Posted February 20, 2015 Share #80 Posted February 20, 2015 Hm. I'm going to go on what Jaques considers his sins to be. The things that keep him up at night. Hypocrisy. He hates that laws are manipulated, ignored and/or flat out broken for personal benefit and profit. Especially around Ul'dah. But he himself did this very thing to take over the Rose. He justifies it by saying that he didn't keep the wealth and invested it for those that should have had the wealth to begin with. But it still bothers him. Murder. Of the deaths caused by his own hand (nearly all were in self-defense or the defense of another) there is only one that still eats at him as it was more of an assassination than anything. He wonders if he was too hasty. If he was too focused on ending the problem instead of fixing the problem. If she was as much a victim as they were to her. Alcoholism. There were maaaaany fights in the Shroud he picked while drunk. There are consecutive days he flat out doesn't remember as he kept himself that piss-drunk. Neglect. This is the biggest one for him. He didn't act at a time he should have and the guilt eats at him constantly. Link to comment

EDIT: warren, i'd only be around for the fun part, the tears and vomit after he's hit his limit and wound up passed out on possibly a specific free paladin's doorstep will be dealt with by that specific free paladin (that will remain nameless) i'm sure.... c; Link to comment

Warren Castille Posted February 20, 2015 Share #87 Posted February 20, 2015 I'm going to refer to mass alcohol consumption in the future with "helmet" as a unit of measure. Ooft! Gotta be..murder and torture. She is FAR from proud of it though. Welp, my actual contribution to the thread was already done. Warren's not proud of it either, and it still coming to terms with the situation. In his defense, that person in question kiiiinda had it coming. Link to comment

Eses Fafa Posted February 20, 2015 Share #89 Posted February 20, 2015 If we're going to get precise about the Seven Deadly Sins.. Lust - Premarital "relations" with her significant other Gluttony - Eating the house's food stocks on several occasions Greed - Hogging all of the moustache tonic Sloth - 80% of all of Eses' time Wrath - Torture and murder of over 10 separate people, some being members of the authorities Envy - She hates all that have larger chests than her (which is anyone not a lalafell, male or female) Pride - HAVE YOU SEEN THIS MOUSTACHE?! PandaSong Posted February 22, 2015 Share #90 Posted February 22, 2015 Senah's worst (so far) has just been manipulation. She can and has manipulated people into doing what she wants quite often without lying. Twisted logic gets people every time. Link to comment
Darien Cadell Posted February 23, 2015 Share #91 Posted February 23, 2015 Theft has pretty much always been par for the course, but she's ticked off a few memorable options in the Wrath and Pride categories of the violent and hateful varieties. Not much affected by the other categories. If she were Greek, the Furies would be very upset with her. Link to comment
Mitzer The Mighty Posted February 23, 2015 Share #92 Posted February 23, 2015 Gluttony, she doesn't see it as a problem. Justifying overeating for a semi-hyper Keeper of the Moon child is as easy as a lalafel climbing a two foot ladder. Link to comment
Rabbit Posted February 26, 2015 Share #93 Posted February 26, 2015 Disobeying the matriarchs, runnin' away. Sleeping her way into good teachings and riches. Hawu's greedy/money-hungry and she loves it, an avid hedonist. She did beat a seeker to death with her grimoire when he attacked her, so there's that...but then again that isn't telling a giant roegadyn to go kill someone because she didn't care for the way they handled their business with her. She's also guilty of corrupting innocent folks and apathy to problems that should be of grave concerns. Link to comment
