What shows are you watching?

Inspired by "what are you listening to?" thread. What tv shows have you recently come back to, are approaching as a new viewer, or are just keeping up with? Have you been trending towards certain genres lately? Or are you watching different things left and right in no particular order? Feel free to post video clips of favourite, or just plain good moments, spoiler tagging if you think it's needed.

 

goes without saying, but this is a judgement free zone, no making fun of people for watching "dumb" shows. Also, anime included because it's also aired on tv generally speaking.

 

I'm keeping up with Steven Universe and Gravity falls, and I've been watching a bit of Corner Gas since someone put the entire show up on youtube. Since it's probably the least recognizable of the three I've mentioned, I submit here two short clips.

I recently finished watching the Anime Shiki and I loved it.

I fell in love with the character Junior Doctor Ozaki as my character is a mad scientist/engineer.

A recommended anime for those who enjoyed the anime Another

For those who like Vampire anime. And those who like a morally grey anime where

neither the protagonist or antagonist is strictly defined and everyone has a bit of evil in them.

stuff i've been trying to stay on top of:

adventure time

gravity falls

star vs the forces of evil (showing a lot of promise so far)

once upon a time (new season about to start >u<)

a haunting (because it's funny)

and erik's got me mildly interested in house of cards but shuusss! don't tell him cause it's all political and stuff and i find that kinda boring generally >.>;

Game Center CX (you're welcome) and Nichijou mostly. I have been trash about keeping up with most of the shows I like. Parks and Recreation is still taunting me from my Netflix queue, as is Arrested Development. Over the Garden Wall and Gravity Falls are on my "need to finish watching" list, as is Legend of Korra.

I used to keep with pretty much every anime every season, but now that I have FFXIV this is difficult to manage. Right now I am catching up with some shows I missed the first time around. I am currently watching GARO anime, since I am fond of Tokusatsu and superhero type shows. :>

and on a side note i was kinda happy/sad when bbc bedlem got canned. it was a good show but the 2nd season was just WEIRD compared to the first one so i was glad it got cut before it got weirder. kinda wish the 2nd season had more of the character's from the first one...mostly jed...he made that show imo .----.

Banshee is about an ex convict who ends up in the Amish inhabited settlement of Banshee, Pennsylvania and ends up posing as the sheriff due to some...interesting circumstances. The show is on Cinemax; it's SO GOOD, but contains graphic violence and quite a bit of sexual content. 

 

The characters are amazing and well rounded, and it's one of those shows that makes you root for the badguy sometimes. Well. They're all badguys...it's just a matter of who comes out on top.

In the anime department I haven't really recovered properly from watching the ouram high school anime. Wish there was more of it ; ; I got through a bunch of episodes of Fairytail when I last was out travelling. But right now I'm not watching anything, mostly waiting for season 2 of sword art online to be dubbed - I prefer to be able to listen whilst doing other things and am not so fond of the original voices, so I'm doomed to waiting. 

 

Outside of that, I don't follow any shows other than when there's a new documentary show surfacing on YT or similar. I may or may not have a /perfectly/ healthy relationship to the documentary addict website
