Oh yeah I did see the yellow-jackets thing. I didn't get a chance to read it just yet.. but this did remind me I should.

I normally don't have much to say that isn't already voiced better then I can ^^; As far as any enforcement groups.. I don't think I'v seen any. I was thinking about that the other day on how it would be kinda neat to get into one or help in starting one. I'd say it wouldn't be good for my character to join it given my FC's story but at the same time Limsa is sorta based around similar grounds so it might work out .. But on the note of not seeing one.. maybe we could get a small group together to try and form something? I think it'd be a neat idea personally. Maybe that's just me.. I see tons rp'ing being sultansworn or being apart of the brass blades or immortal flames. A few scattered groups for Gridian.. but I really don't recall any groups forming up for Limsa.

I have to agree with Aya in that there are quite a few spots that would be perfect for rp'ing in.. ^^; even if im a bit guilty of defaulting to the Drowning Wench myself.. but that seems to be where most frequent.

My character is far from a registered adventurer and she goes to the guilds when she has to. Granted she stays in Limsa mostly .. but I've found myself over in Ul'dah from time to time an I have seen other non adventurer types. Once in a while there is some that rp entertainment, or a tavern hand. I'd not pay them too much mind personally... I don't recall any real rule on non-adventurers not being allowed in the guilds. Maybe they wouldn't get a room for free or there wouldn't be space on some given days. I may be wrong on this but it's my thoughts..

Originally hailing from Coerthas Lorraine left the once grassy planes long before they became blanketed in snow. She is not of noble birth or some ex knight from Ishgard, no her blood-line is common and her family lived a modest life even with her father's fame at the forge and anvil. She's spent the last ten or so years in Limsa, taking up odd jobs when she could until more recently when she finally made her mind up to carry on her father's craft and the family name. Though a few wrenches seem to be in her plans after certain events have landed her with a bounty on her head for the murder of her parents. Not with word of assassins (though now taken care of) and now further issues inside of that group. When peace is allowed to her, Lorraine is more often then not found working. Being a smithy is in her blood and she is rather proud of her accomplishments over the years. Upon learning of her father's death she took up using his mark, the family's mark, as her own branding on her wears. Meta Profile Almost always up for rp'ing, shoot me a tell and 9 times out of 10 I will happily drop everything to rp. If i'm not in Limsa or in one of my standard rp get ups that hardly means I am busy. The character holds a bit of a strange accent being a mix of her Ishgard background and hints that she's been in Limsa for far too long as her words fail her at times. As a character she is not overly out going and will try to avid conflicts at all costs, that being said does not mean she can not be pushed into a corner. First off.. how in the world did I miss this thread when it was first posted?! Now more to business, the FC I am in resides in Limsa but presently they are still in the progress of forming so I don't really want to advertise the group too much.. maybe in a few weeks when things settle down in real life for the leaders. As far as my thoughts on rp locations.. I rp quite a bit on the outskirts of the city so to say (like the Anchor was mentioned). Also I try to pull some rp aspects to the Black/Armorsmith guild seeing as this is primarily where my character resides. Though maybe I have bad luck .. seems most of my contacts interested in rp'ing out trading of materials or repair work or crafting in general seem to vanish before first contact is even made. Now for the locations listed... I linger about the Drowning Wench seeing as that is where most of the rp'ing I have found in Limsa happens. I forget about the Missing member if I am honest but it seems I may have to venture over there from time to time now. I've seen a bit of rp at the two guilds as well (mar and arc) but they seem to be mainly training sessions or I suppose possible sign ups for enlisting into the enforcement groups about the area. There is my thoughts and banter on the topic.. *goes back to lurking like I normally do* >-<;

I had every intention to show up just because.. >_> though toddler kinda tossed a wrench in my plans.. xP She was protesting her adjusted bedtime... again. That and by the time I got back it was like 30 minutes or so after the meeting should have started and I didn't want to be that fashionably late ^^;

Downside of there not being an official rp server.. but besides the point. I have noticed the sudden influx of strange folk around Ul'dah.. I tend to stay away from that place myself so it's not really effecting me. Did have a table dancer in Limsa try and grief us .. all the way till my buddy started clapping and was emoting that he was tossing gil and talking about ale and entertainment. The guy didn't seem to want to stick around too long after that. On the note of the event being disrupted... maybe stick to advertising the event in the forums here or make sure that the LS is rp friendly. Past that I don't really want to suggest hiding information an requiring people to prove they are rp'er in order to get event details/locations. But it is a option i things start to spiral down that far.

Minus a few recent events I think my wiki is actually finished or rather up to date ... I do need to add a few minor things but nothing that would effect anything besides the character anyway D; well and i guess if you were that poor sod that over heard whatever conversation that went on last night in Limsa heh.

So long as there is some form of reasoning or logic behind the story of using the potion (ic personally my character would have not a clue if you told her what the potion wasnot something she'd follow or look into) then by all means go for it. There are far worse things people try to rp out or rp as that makes me cringe thinking about the proper lore behind it.

I try to update after anything important or major really.. though I don't really actively go out seeking large scale events either so ic'ly thing stay a bit quite (im ok with this because i was rushing on maxing my crafting classes anyway). Not really in any rush to update the page if something does happen though. I think I'm the main one who looks at it anyway

I used one conjoined with my back story for my character. Granted the only thing I did was change the gender with a story that she was never male in the first place and that there were reasons she was hiding who she was. Though ic or in the story in general I don't say it was a potion that was used.. more along the lines she dressed as the other gender for a while till she felt safe so to speak. I have heard some silly reasons ic as to how a potion was consumed but really its up to the one using the potion. If they want to keep the character they made and the story then I think it may be more rewarding to think of a way besides some mishap or accident. Or if you haven't rp'ed with many then you could do as my husband did and just get in touch with whoever you did rp with and see if they would be willing to write off whatever you were and just say you were what you plan to be all along.

Given that each race lore wise has some enhanced abilities.. (i'd assume Miq'ote having cat like eyes and all) It could prove interesting to combine some of the races with the ability to see in the dark or have different eyes or better hearing abilities. Though on that note i'm not sure what mix I would be personally. Though I'd have to go with the over used one of half elf.

I think I'm going to say that marauder classes are canceled as well. There was minimal interest in the first place and that dwindled to one person after. If anyone wants one on one instructions then by all means feel free to track me down.

A little late announcing this but I'll be holding another MRD class tonight around 9:30pm EST. Presently there is only one person who signed up but if others want to go then by all means. I've been trying to work out a time that would be good to hold this class every other week. Starting place is the guild like last time.

well if anything if the ones who want to carry through with training happen to miss a class they can message me. I don't mind make up classes or one on one training ^^ or if you want extra study time.. i stay logged in throughout the day, even with the afk tag up from time to time .. im the type who scrolls back through the logs to see if anyone needed something

I was debating on holding classes every week or not.. just been having a bit of rough spot with my life so I didn't want to promise people something and not follow through with it. Though if folks want the classes more often let me know. Also I do apologize for the length of the first class and that it was derailed a little. I had lost track of my days and any planning I wanted to have done for it went out the window. >_< Now besides that here is the next sign up sheet.. the times will be slightly later so maybe we won't start as late as we did. Though I was amused that everyone who signed up messaged me saying they were going to be late. Doodle

so i have to say it.. this thread is amazing in so many ways ~! <3 I don't have any real input in the topic as my character has more of a taste for dishes from Limsa having lived there so long.

that's fine, I might make a LS or at least friend the group that shows up >_<; so i can better let people know what happened to me if i poof for a moment. plus i'll be hanging around the tower for a short while to make sure everyone whos gonna show shows. If anyone misses the group at the tower then feel free to message me about where we're located.

Kellach - I remembered there were grounds under the guild today actually (well yesterday while speaking to a FC mate who will probably show up). But after checking them out today it has a awful lot of npcs and still felt a little cramped given the size of the weapons and that the Coal Tower is home to the MRD guild and the musketeer (whenever they release it but still) so there is npc's from both groups in that one little space. I was going off of the fact that there were three that signed up and then myself and another going to be in the same area, if it was just 2-3 people total the under area might work easy enough. But for 5 or more people I figured a skip through Limsa and out Zephry Gate was in order ^^; (though i could be over thinking this but yeah..) edit: if i am a few moments late i'm sorry in advanced. Dinner took longer then expected to prepare and my youngest little one is a little sick still so he's been a handful today.

I'm normally free-ish during the day, at nights i tend to shy to be more afk to spend time with the hubby when hes off work ^^; So if you see me without the afk tag up odds are i'm free. I'll try to keep a eye out for your characters in various spots though~

Seeing as I think my other post was over looked here's a reminder: Mrd training will be tomorrow night at 8 EST. Meeting up at the coral Tower (aka the Mrd guild) and we will most likely find spot outside the city after.. the guild itself in my opinion is a bit cramped.
