Looking for some people that would be interested in me.
projektai replied to Kimikimi's topic in RP Discussion
Welcome! If you ever need a RP partner, feel free to find me, or if you see me, don't be shy! I love walking into random RP. Eudalie is usually in Ul'dah or Gridania ICly. And as Lightning said, (I'm his homie), it's fun to put stuff together in character. ^ ^ -
Yes, we've RP'd before and I adored it! Rynn is a rather fun character. <3 I hope my being a greenhorn isn't too troublesome for you, but I look forward to finding you in Eorzea again.

*waves* Hello Rynn, and hello Blue. It's Eudalie here, and though she's just a fledgling conjurer, always available for pokes and such. I do hope you find more experienced conjurers though, Rynn, since your character is already very versed in it!

I tend to stay in character all of the time, and I've finally made it onto the Balmung server! (It's been closed out for awhile...) I'll be on quite often, on Eudalie N'aal, and I'm looking for RP connections too. Ihave to admit, I'm a bit disappointed that thus far, I haven't seen any open world roleplaying. I know there are linkshells floating around out there and free companies, but I can't seem to find anyone just... roleplaying. ; ;

Unfortunately, I'm agreeing with what others are saying about the female model. I think the young faces on males are enough to roleplay a young boy in terms of looks, but if you wanted the skinny/lithe look, I see where you're coming from. The only problem I see is within the animations and the voice. I like to openly roleplay, especially with others I just meet, I'm almost always in character, but if I were to see your character as the female model, I'd assume it was a she, who's boyish, or if they referred to themselves as "he" I'd assume your character was transgender. I, personally, just think the female model with its clothes and its animations, won't lend to your character coming across as a boy. I'm sorry. ;;

FRIENDS, GILGAMESHIANS, LEND ME YOUR EARS!
projektai replied to No Longer Exists's topic in Chronicled Events
That's very true. Yesterday I was openly roleplaying in Gridania, and had two other roleplayers join in, which gave me a lot of hope for the community, but I also had someone /tell me that they were surprised to see anyone openly roleplaying on the Gilgamesh server. So there seems to be a mix, but I'd like to think there are a lot of roleplayers on Gilgamesh. That being said, I'll usually be on in the afternoons, EST, and most likely late at night. I won't be on until later tonight, since I'm finishing up finals at uni today. And as an aside, I'd like to see the spread out neighborhoods, but I haven't been around, so I don't know what's been done yet. -
Thank you very much! I would've put my main on Balmung, but it was closed out for three days after I bought the game, and I really wanted to play. Gilgamesh was spotty too, but the moment Gilgamesh opened up I jumped right in. ^ ^;;

Hello everyone! It's nice to meet you all. I played during the beta, but just recently purchased the game, and I've joined the community on Gilgamesh! So far, I've heard rumor that a lot of roleplayers on Gilgamesh have been switching to Balmung, but since today was my first day in game, I met two other roleplayers who were very kind. It was nice to roleplay in the open world, and I hope I see more of you out there. I'm looking forward to having my character weave into the world, so to speak. By the way, my character is Eudalie N'aal. Uhm... I think that's everything for now, but I'm glad to be a part of the community! I may come off as a little quiet, but I really do like people. So... I hope to see you all soon! (๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪

FRIENDS, GILGAMESHIANS, LEND ME YOUR EARS!
projektai replied to No Longer Exists's topic in Chronicled Events
I think this sounds wonderful. I just joined up yesterday, but I did play in the beta, and I'm hoping to stumble across plenty of roleplay opportunities on Gilgamesh, so I love this idea. -
Welcome welcome! Who doesn't like video games and drawing and long walks on the beach? Oh, maybe I made that last one up... n wn;; Really though, everyone's pretty nice here, so make yourself at home!

Hello and welcome to the RPC! You've come to the right place to meet your fellow roleplayers, that's for sure! :moogle: If you're accustomed to forum roleplays, (me too!), I think the transition to in-game roleplaying will be pretty smooth for you. You probably already know the basics, but now it's just shorter and simpler. Instead of typing paragraphs upon paragraphs, we can break it up into a few short bursts and mostly dialogue, kinda like script writing. And don't forget those emotes! They're loads of fun! Hopefully you'll feel right at home here, but if you're still nervous about roleplaying in game, there's always the mentorship program!

Haha, that'd be cute. :moogle: It'd be interesting/funny to see horoscopes for the different people of Eorzea. Born under Menphina? Your lucky color today is...

I think this is a good point, but I'd agree with Eva's shorthand of the date. It makes sense and is easy to read without being too clustered. Now I'll admit, when I read this topic title, I immediately related it to astrology and thought we were going to iron out horoscopes for the people of Eorzea. > w<;;

I'll be playing a Keeper, and I'm not entirely sure if she'll fit into the tribe dynamic. Regardless, I'd really like to see this idea flourish. It'd be interesting to have tribes wandering out in Eorzea. It'd be more immersive for everyone, not just the specific members of the tribe. For example, there may be Elezen who believe them poachers if they're in the Black Shroud, or something of the like. Roles of families, tribes, etc. can be fun for everyone, so I hope we see a lot of players jumping in on organizing this tribe dynamic. :3 All that aside though, I would be personally interested in interacting with some of the tribes established, even if my character may not necessarily be in it.

I think this is likely. 99% of Squeenix's character models in any Final Fantasy game are youthfully perfect, with lustrous skin and silky hair. The player models and the NPCs are no exception. It's annoying, but what can one do? We hide the elderly where we used to hide the men, >_>. I just thought you should know, they're planning a revolution. They want out too. > x>

Welcome! :moogle: It's so nice to meet you! You can bet my little healer would love having you as a tank; she could use a bodyguard every now and then. And she'll keep you fed and safe too!

21 here, and entering my last year of University in September. Pretty exciting! :3 My major is English in University, and more specifically Creative Writing. I've taken a few workshops and classes in the subject, so I know the ins and outs of fiction writing, and you bet I know my grammar! (Even if I do abuse my friend, the comma...) I love writing so much, I aim to be a novelist one day. Cross your fingers and wish me luck! I've been RPing since I was 12, and began in forum roleplay, which I still participate in heavily on private forums with friends. I've roleplayed in tabletop games like D&D and World of Darkness too; they're just so much fun. Everybody here seems so nice, I'm glad we have such varied age groups too. We can learn a lot from each other, even if we're all kids at heart. :love:

Hehe, thanks everyone! I guess it's true that most of us must be shy, but you guys are better at hiding it. I'll just take notes. > w < I can't wait to meet everyone in game! It'll be loads of fun!

Okay, I feel like I have a little more insight on the refugee situation then. The suggestions and info really helped. :3 I figured Ul'dah would be the best alignment for a refugee, sort of.
-
That's a fair assumption. :3 I was just hunting for more clues about refugees because I was seriously considering RPing one, but I'll do some more digging and cross my fingers. Thanks! :moogle:
-
This might seem a tad silly, but I was wondering how much information is available on the refugees in Eorzea. Like, where were most of them from? Who got hit the hardest? I know a lot of them wound up in Ul'dah, but I think that's really all I know about them. I was hoping to learn a little bit more about them for purposes of roleplay. Anyone know a bit about them? Any info is new to me. :3

Ta-dah~! It's been a long day. :3
