No. Chiyo is generally caring and sympathetic towards other especially her love ones, even going as far as risking herself for helping some people she doesn't know, but she finds the title in itself overrated. In fact, to her, the word "hero" is more insulting than the word, "bitch." She hates it. She thinks it is a dumb title that belongs in stories. Even going as far as to call it a joke. If Chiyo herself is called one, she'll deny it. Chiyo does have people she looks up to, but she doesn't consider them "heroes" either. She especially looks down upon others who would do things just to say they are or be called one. Chiyo does what she feels is right, not to be a hero. She's no "girl scout." Btw, if she ever meets someone like Chachan, she'll make fun of them to no end.

She doesn't regret it entirely but she has mixed feelings on her joining of the Bastion free company. The as much as Chiyo wanted to help her, the FC leader (ICly) is a huge jerk and every time she tries to help her, she ends up getting the cold shoulder. In general, also every time she tries to help in any way, she either gets it trouble or feels she is under appreciated. Chiyo sometimes question her involvement of the company. She has her own reasons of not leaving though.

Sight seeing.

Usually, from early access up until this point, I had the easiest time logging it during mornings and around 11 PM EST. Those are the times the severs are likely less busy. Either that or I was damn lucky. >.> Oh well. I've progressed quite a bit so I'm satisfied. I'll likely play other games if I can't get in tomorrow.

Finally made my Xeala, Xanadu Noire. Once a member of the now destroyed Hotgo tribe, she wanders around Eorzea to find her purpose.

My alt is also from Hotgo! She'd probably be excited to know of another survivor.

I probably won't make it because not only is that Independence Day but it's also my grandmother's birthday. We'll see though.

About freaking time, Square. It's a good thing I gave my alt a Mongolian first name just before maintenance. >_> Edit: Wow, the Xaela lore is really interesting compared to Miqo'te lore imo. This might be useful for my head-canon.

Is there any lore on the whole Grease Lightning thing? Or is it just a game mechanic?

It depends on the plot and the character. If it's suppose to involved my characters being raped, painfully tortured or killed, then I will be reluctant about it, if not refuse. And I don't see Chiyo being the damsel type anyway (if anything, she'd probably rather die). Although if it's some kind of joke storyline or if it's foreplay involved in the end, I'm not entirely against it... If I make a character that isn't naturally a fighter, I can have them get napped as will. In regards to kidnapping themselves, unless they are evil or sadistic, my current characters would need a valid reason to do it.

Chiyo may not want anything to do with Minfilia or even the elezan lad (I forgot his name) after this. As much as she wants to do good, she's through being their errand girl and would resent the WoL title, especially after Also, Telluride brought up a good point on another thread:
