Maybe Dark Knight is the base class and a job that hasn't been revealed is there. Ooor, maybe its all stand alone. And you can be a dark knight ICly without too much of a stretch of the imagination; Thaumaturge who uses melee as a focus and channels their aether through that instead of casting spells, they augment their fighting abilities. It is possible.

I will permadeath once they implement a name change/race change potion that way I can have a different character without losing progress. In its current state? No, because other than story implications; a long lasted character > permadeath due to no way to use what you've gained. A way to get past this I suspect is to make a throw-away character.

I tried on my thread to at least give the news, its why I put it in the headlines section... but sadly it devolved into housing all over again. Sorry for that Wizard, I didn't intend a news section to turn into it.

I'm excited for the new emotes, the item compare, and such. The housing is a debacle that can be fixed; but, the new content? Yes. Yes please.

Its a terrible thing, yes, but it doesn't mean it cannot be properly implemented in the future. Remember, FFXIV 1.0 was a travesty compared to 2.0. So, all we can do is wait, honestly.

GameStop sells the codes via digital at the register, just need to inform the employee (they might not know), WalMart sells them physically, Best Buy does as well. So many options. <3

And I'm back officially on FFXIV. It is earlier than anticipated, but seeing as I stumbled upon a FFXIV time card, I'm back to play! Also, yes, I still play Wildstar, its paid off until Feb of next year. Just 600 hours into it, I need a short break.

Awesome as always Foxberry! Also, do you still play Wildstar too? Or at least do their artwork still? Or is it only FFXIV? OOOH! FFXIV x Wildstar art!

Remember, I am taking a break from FFXIV (not leaving it entirely); I'm still here! I've just been playing WildStar in the meantime. I might come back for this new patch or come back at 2.4 like originally planned. I'm still on the fence about it.

Sorry to all wondering where the hell I am. My account is frozen due to the lack of me having funds to play the game; sorry about it. Whenever I catch a break, hopefully next month, I'll be playing again; so I guess I could consider this a break from the game. Sorry for all those I had a story with, but no money = no play.

The game still looks awesome; but sadly, idiots (of this MMO generation) tend to ruin PvP open games due to "lolfag, die" and such.

I'm taking a break from FFXIV for now; I got burned out on it. And the game is far from just brown, its far more vibrant than you think; yes, even the desert is vibrant. But if you want to go for vibrancy, Wildstar beats both FFXIV AND ESO. Its so vibrant its almost literally puking colors. Myself, I'm enjoying the game quite a lot, it takes a bit to learn, but I love learning new things; I find it a nice blend of a MMO and the TES series without sacrificing too much. Some things I understand due to the issues with latency and trappings of an MMO. As for the MMO server type thing; there is no servers but two. NA and EU. And the NA megaserver has a lot of RPers on it. So, I wouldn't push it to the side after all. Remember, FFXIV doesn't even have RP servers either; just ones the fanbase have declared to be it.

From what I've seen, most of those of their RPC for the game tend to be on both Daggerfall and Ebonheart the most. The Dominion tends to have all the evil people. (obviously), even though this is before they became Nazi elves.

Wow, with how this system works, it feels as if its trying to mimic Korean games of late. Whoa. Grindtacular.

I'm looking forward to TESO due to RL friends to play with. Yay friendship! As for Wildstar, that'll be my next big game. I want Archeage but that is a whenever. I also want to try Blade & Soul, but that is also whenever it comes. I don't care much for Wildstar's art style, but after playing it for a while; it ends up growing on you, it also contrasts with the world's dark setting; yep, Wildstar's setting is quite dark, almost Warhammer 40K style dark; to be so vivid and in your face to have such a horrible background; it excites me! Sure, it has no body sliders, but I can survive with that. So far, aside from Second Life, Aion, and Perfect World International, no MMORPG gave I've played had detailed character creation than those games; of course if APB wasn't garbage (fixed, but still terrible now that its FTP with the new cash shop grabs), I'd mess with that. I spent hundreds of hours on that game's creation system in just its short month's span before it went away.
