Val

...Well. As far as Val's looks and personality is concerned, I never really considered anyone to inspire him. I'd just been playing a lot of super good characters and wanted a change. The personality stuck and I really liked him. If I had to pick who he closely resembled, however, it'd be these guys: auTMp87gcqk I think he has a bit of Spike in him simply because he's incredibly cocky and likes to talk trash during fights/whatever. I choose young Ezio because Val prides himself on the number of ladies he's able to get, even if it's only a mild interest. Young Ezio is also quite fond of talking trash during fights. Especially when he was confronted with "What's wrong? Afraid to handle things yourself?" and responded with, "Your sister seemed quite satisfied with the handling I gave her earlier." I also think there's a point where, before a fight, he calls out something along the lines of "Let's make this quick. I've got a lady friend to meet after this."

I'm not a villain, but I thoroughly second this! Good villains/antagonists are fun to have around =) Good luck!

Yep. I had the naga epic. The first one broke, took me six months for a replacement. This next one is working fine but the cord is frayed to hell and back and they aren't responding to me. Again.

I can't really speak on SE's support, but I haven't heard too many good things. I can say, however, that NOTHING is as bad as Razer. Their support is horrendous and, honestly, I'd tell pretty much anyone to avoid buying products from them. The first issue I had with one, the agent stopped responding to me in the middle of our conversation (e-mails). I sent several more and nothing. Called and was told that the information I gave was wrong (read the case number directly from the e-mail) and.. well. It was a horrid experience. Took me six months to get a replacement.

It happened cawz u awsum. In all honestly, I'm glad I found you guys. It's opened up a lot of great RP and a good part of my day is spent looking forward to logging in and spending time with you fine individuals. It's a much needed reprieve from the stresses of class work and all that good stuff. Keep it up =) And likewise if I'm needed for anything, don't hesitate to ask.

Dat Berserk remake tho! Haven't watched the Eva. remakes. Hell, never really watched the first series either. Apparently the original had like three different endings that were somehow canon or some shit? So I was like...yeah I'm good. I'm a huuuuuge fan of Eva. And yeah it's confusing as hell to watch. It took me a few sessions to figure the whole thing out =p

I've heard nothing but good things about Attack on Titan, and yet I've never seen it. ..Though, to be honest, I haven't had much time to watch a lot of anime. The last things I've seen were the Berserk remakes and the Evangelion remakes. Oh. And Sword Art Online, but I really didn't like it at all.

I rolled Balmung for multiple reasons, but honestly the fact that it was legacy did not bother me at all. Truth be told, I like the idea of the economy and player base already being set. As most people have already said, it's going to happen with every game you play. Eventually, a few months from now, it won't matter which server was legacy because everyone will be at about the same place.

Very recently, I was standing in the Ul'dah Adventure's Guild and watching a guy stand on the table and cast spells in everyone's face. I had a very in-depth conversation with him, asking him if he had anything better to do with his day than to try and kill someone else's enjoyment of the game. The response I got? "I'm bored and I don't get RP or people that pretend. Why pay for this game if you aren't going to play it?" I informed him that being bored isn't necessarily a good reason to bother other people that aren't, and that you don't necessarily have to get something in order to have respect for it. I also told him that it was horrid to assume someone is playing a game wrong. I used the recent GTA V as an analogy, stating that some choose to play the missions while some never do one and just run around--and challenged him to tell me who was playing the game wrong. He said, "I guess you're right" and left the people alone. Either because he was tired of me harassing them or because he really got an answer. TL;DR Talking to people helps, sometimes.

As much as I'd love to be there, unfortunately Saturday is the worst possible time for me to do anything. It's the night I set aside to be with my lady =) Sorry, but I won't be able to make it.

Val Nunh is a mercenary for hire! His current job, of course, is bodyguard for a noble lady. So long as his job doesn't interfere with that, he's more than willing to pick something up and make a little extra money on the side. Val, the character, doesn't have much respect for many things outside of what he enjoys. Therefore, he never really named his chocobo. He generally curses at it, calls it "Bird," threatens to eat it, and the like.

Oh god. She was SO good in Dishonored. I didn't expect it out of her, honestly.

Definitely the acting. The accents/dialects aren't great, but they aren't horrid. All in all, I'd say it feels like I'm playing a medium-grade PS2 game again when it comes to the acting. ..Granted, I know that a lot of the PS2 games were MUCH more horrid than this.

....Yeah, Thancred's voice just didn't fit the model at all to me. Every time he spoke, it threw me off.

All of this, pretty much. As I played through the game, sometimes I thought it was pretty good. ...And sometimes, well. Sometimes it just made me shake my head and skip the cutscene entirely.
