I. Basic Info Characters:Val Nunh, Cyrus Mulano, Melfice Vainchelon Primary character:Val Nunh II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): The amount that I RP really depends on my mood. Sometimes, I'll log into the game and do nothing but RP. There are other times when I'll go a week or so without doing or desiring to RP. That being said, I do consider myself a heavy RPer when I do. I am a para-RPer and, generally, the more someone posts with me the more I feel that I can churn out as well. When in a public area or grouped with others, I try to limit my posts and make them as short and concise as possible. Views on RP combat and injuries: I've always followed a golden rule: IC actions = IC consequences. If any of my characters do things that would get them hurt, maimed, or killed--then I suppose that's simply what happens. I'm not against characters being brought back, but I'm certainly against it being an immediate thing. If my characters get injured, they will respond as such until fully healed. Lost limbs, broken bones, cuts, scrapes, bruises, etc. As far as actual combat is concerned, I prefer para-freeform combat RP. My characters will certainly not win all of their battles (they've already lost a fair share) and I've been RPing combat-based fighting for many years now. I actually started in Ayenee (Yahoo! chat rooms) and Nerima (also located there), and have since been in various MMOs doing such. Views on IC romance: None of my characters actively walk the streets looking for anything. It just sort've happens. I'm not opposed. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): As far as that goes, pretty much anything is welcome. I try to stick within the lore when it comes to certain things, however. I'm not too keen on RPing with Loki, Thor, Jesus, Sephiroth, any million people that apparently make up the Strife/Highwind family tree, any demons from Dante's Inferno (yeah, that really happened), or anything like it. I am, however, open minded so long as it exists within the lore of the game. Views on lore: I know very little of the lore itself aside from what I've read up on. With my hectic schedule, I tend to get little time to myself and will generally look things up as the questions come. Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): Using the /say and /em channels are always preferred. My character is not psychic, and therefore cannot RP during whispers. I can do linkshell RP, but only to an extent since there's actually a system for pearls. As far as RPing in private chats, I'd rather not. I don't like the idea of limiting other people's interaction with what's going on by hopping in an instance/party/whatever and excluding any possible walk-ups. [*] III. I have to pretty much agree with what's said It looks like a wonderful idea! I can't really say that Val'll always be around, but I'd be more than happy to offer his services as a bouncer of some sort when he IS available. I.. don't think he'd do very well as a tender or anything >_>; That being said, either way, I'd be more than happy to join this little group!

Hey there! I'm not sure if you've seen Val around, but lately I think he could CERTAINLY use a nice drinking buddy and someone to talk with! He's a Seeker Nunh and, while he absolutely loves hitting on women with the best, recent events have had him a tad confused about his culture and all that good stuff. To cut to the chase, I've built him to be a nice accent to anyone's story as a side character and help them find themselves the best way he can (although it is a little unorthodox). If you wanna RP, toss me a message in game sometime

Like what most people say, so long as you have a reason I don't think it should matter. Val's Seeker name is actually W'Val, but he goes by Val for IC reasons I'm not sure if that was something you were really looking for, but it's what I do for him.

Val has a very large social weakness in that he has little in the way of social grace. He's been known to tell someone they're ignorant for grieving a loved one's death because "it happens," along with many other things. He also has a huge ego which, unfortunately, is coupled with a large sense of pride for who and what he is. This means that he thinks of himself as invincible and has landed him in trouble on more than one occasion. When he fails, his pride is greatly wounded and that can be more devastating for him than anything else.

Category A: You, OOCLY 1. Are there any any races you particularly love the opposite (or same) gender of? The models, the history, the lore, anything. I think a lot of them are pretty neat in their own way. I don't think I have any one particular that I'm fond of over the others. 2. How do you view interracial couples in -game-? Specifically, let's not get into a debate about whether or not it's 'gross' to you as a person or if there are too many people doing it. If they like it, go for it. I have no problems. 3. Do your OOC feelings towards a particular race make you more open or affect what your character is looking for when they're either flirting around, pursuing romance, or just, in general, acting differently towards those individuals. Not really. My main character is... well. He doesn't necessarily care enough to let my own personal opinions get in the way =p Category B: Your character 1. Does your character seek friends or partners based predominantly on race? Val'll hang out with anyone that's willing to have a good time. It generally depends more on who can stand him long enough =) 2. How does your character view interracial pairings and are their feelings different from your own? Val wouldn't really care, either. Well, now that I think about it, I suppose it depends. If he manages to spot a Hyur/Elezen with a Lalafell, he'll make some pretty rude comments just to get a laugh.

Good evening! I've been hovering here in the forums and decided, after some time of searching, that I would make a post to try and find some sort of active RP group/community. First, allow me to give some background on myself as an individual and Val as a character. I am currently a college student and work a part time job, so I'm not able to get online at exact times on certain days. I have been an active role player for some time, originating in the old Yahoo chats (Ayenee/Nerima) and extending from there to various MMOs. As for Val Nunh, he is a male Miqo'te Seeker. He is a mercenary that works for the Immortal Flames. His background information and as to how he ended up there will be left to detail should anyone converse with him. =) To be quite honest, he's.. rude. He doesn't necessarily mean to be so, but the character lacks many social graces that most have come to know. He is rough, rugged, and (for the most part) means well and often fails at such. He can be a comedic character, depending on one's sense of humor--or he can be incredibly annoying. He loves two things: women and money. He is not shy about calling out to or hitting on a lady he finds attractive, and he'll take most contract jobs so long as it puts enough coin in his pocket. He is not my only character, but he is my main. If anyone would be interested in meeting him, feel free to send me a message in game. Some of you may have seen me in the Ul'dah Adventurer's Guild.
