If someone just "happens" to find out, then I usually have my protagonist just question their reasoning through logic--assuming my protagonist uses logic, and I'm quite fond of them doing so. Generally the metagaming is destroyed ICly because of that and that character ends up looking like a fool and has to apologize. If they don't, then I just try to avoid RP with that person. It's not that I don't like being caught/found out/whatever. In fact, I'm quite open to the death of all of my characters--including my main. However, I try to avoid people that meta-game knowing things. It just makes for a poisonous RP experience to keep those types around. That being said, I also have a guy that is purely in it for himself with Faye as his minion of sorts, as well as both of us having Garleans. If you'd like to meet up/RP with us sometime, I'd be more than happy to do so~

One suggestion you can do, assuming you just enjoy the character's back story, is play the same character but as one of the races here. Let him keep all that rich history/whatever, and just change what needs to be changed or omit what needs to be omitted to allow him to fit here.

I have a Garlean now as well! And several Eorzeans! I'd be more than happy to participate in this =D It could be great fun!

You COULD do it, but as the others stated, it'll likely be ill-received. Dimensional travel is possible, but I'm one of the players that just ignore Lightning's existence because I felt it was pretty dumb =) Do what you want, just be expected to meet resistance.

Well then! I would say those of us with like-minded interests should get together to discuss some things. We could end up with, at the very least, an FC of individuals and a nice group of people to finally RP with/get some things rolling IC for our less than savory characters =)

Like Miss Covington and others have stated, I also have an evil-aligned character and would be more than willing to jump in and do some things with people on him. I just require a group of people to do things WITH. Most of the things I've seen just don't work out or, as others have already said, disbanded due to lack of direction. I agree with all stated, though. The server needs more evil-aligned individuals or some antagonists to work against so that things can be kept interesting. If any of you want a pal, hit me up via PM or on here or in game or whatever, I'll be glad to help.

The only thing really holding my interest so far in XIV is the RP. I, like many others, am pretty bored with end game content at the moment and I just wish there was more in the game to actually DO. I've tried TESO, and it does little more than make me just want to play Skyrim =| If I try anything at all, it'll be WildStar. Honestly, I feel I'm beginning to fall out of the desire to actually play MMOs. EverQuest Next looks pretty good, though.

I am I've just been alting on Melfice and Cyrus a lot. I got both to 50 and have been doing things on them since I can't find a Coil group =( But yeah, I'd love to hang/RP with you again sometime =) I miss it.

I'm sorry I didn't respond to you sooner, Rinette! Work/school/life has been hectic the past few days =) I'm pretty willing to meet up with you on Cyrus anytime! Generally I'm on around 9PM CST, depending on whether or not I work that day. A lot of the time, I'm multi-tasking while I RP as it helps me to do my course work and such without actually feeling like I'm just focusing on homework, so if you don't mind that I'd be happy to do something sometime!

After looking over your profile, I think Cyrus would best fit your needs! We can certainly get together and hang/RP them sometime and see what happens =)

Sadly, I'm not on around those times =( I'm sorry. I probably should have said ahead of time that my schedule is pretty sporadic due to work, school, relationship, friends, etc. I do try to be on when I can, though! I'm mostly on during the evenings and such CST.

Greetings, everyone! I believe I've made a post like this before when the game first released and met some very interesting and amazing people through it. Sadly, a lot of those people have since left the game or busy themselves with other things and aren't readily available to RP. Therefore, I am apparently looking for other people to hang and spend time with! I have a few other characters now that I'd be more than willing to/happy to RP on, if anyone is interested! This also goes for RPing siblings, cousins, distant family, etc. I'll give a very, very brief back story of each character and some of their history.
