Driving home from work, you always get songs that fit your mood! I've personally been a lover of Paramour but this brought me a whole new level of respect. B1o2UCLvD38

"Ugh I need to update my character's Wiki"
Lottie replied to Berrod Armstrong's topic in RP Discussion
I change my mind too often when I'm editing the damn thing. Everything that needs to be on there is saved on a wordpad but I'm conflicted as to how much to add and whatever else to leave out. I'm not a fan of giving everything about Lottie as a character up for reading but at the same time, it'll all be in a convenient place for me. Still deciding how I want to place her pictures and relationships, too. Between meeting a lot of people and her relationship changing between others very quickly, I find it taxing to constantly rewrite previously written descriptions. /dead -
I LOVED the wardrobes in Bravely Default and it still had this old school Final Fantasy/Breath of Fire feel to it.

Let's stay on subject, shall we? Anyway! I heard that during a few months after FFXIV's release, that Holy took a nerf but maybe it was just a rumor? It'd be odd for the skill to take two nerf hits but I'm not terribly fond of using Holy anyway lest it was to stun a bunch of monsters from smacking the tank for a moment. Still, I love the class and wouldn't be anything else so I'm hopeful the new skills will be that more useful.

It looks like the regular gang, or at least I'm hoping it is. Crystal is okay and all but I just love Falco's sarcasm and his rival/friend relationship with Fox. Not sure how I feel about the arwing being able to walk but hearing 'DO A BARREL ROWL' just made me forget all about it. I hope they bring Bill and Kat back. ;.;
-
Him and the Turks, too. I felt like they needed more screen time than what they were given between 7 and Advent Children. I guess they appeared in Before Crisis but ... eh? -Shrug.-

I'm not sure if you're messing with me and if I'm ruining the joke by explaining, but in this context it's short for extended universe. Usually born from the creative process of "aww shit how long can we cash in on ?" also, FFVII is a Cool Game Oh my god, yes. I hope they relive each moment of this and my other favorite scenes like Scarlet's slap fight, Sephiroth staking the bajillion foot snake on a tree and Cloud's flashback playthrough (aka Sephy slaughters while you try not to die with your 50 hp).

Found it! Thank god for Slacker Backers. <3 Thanks so much for letting me know, decided to go with the Alchemist's Treasure.

Blast, it's already closed! Ah well - here's to waiting eagerly for it to come out. I love Castlevania and appreciate the old retro style they're honouring because I just don't really like the new LoS game. A shame that Ayami was too busy to be involved though, was hoping to see her Castlevania art again.

Welcome back and congrats on wanting to come back with a new start! Don't worry about people being blatantly rude and tactless - you can't control how they feel and what they want to do about grudges but I think coming back with intentions of starting anew is brave if not a great place to begin. If you need any help catching up by aid of a white mage, feel free to poke me and GET EXCITED! :cactuar:

you're welcome :3 Your attempt at guilt won't... Awww. Dangit, Clio. *purrs* x3 has a lottie Aww, I love it. And Nathan's look disturbingly accurate - even the cut up eyebrow!

And not even just running into a brick wall but flat out refusing to perform any mechanics at all after being explained. I'd have to be relieved for it being nerfed too because the arguments caused with random people in DF for this possible eight minute run isn't worth it. Do I still like it? Of course I do. I found it different than a regular dungeon and had a fun time overall. I failed, a bunch. Especially with his feet. But I kept at it with my guildies and we tore through it in under eight minutes - now it's just a thing of the past for me which I hope that SE provides more in the future. It's something different. But it's as Caleb said, there's mehanics involved in this trial as there is in any other dungeon- whether we're talking about FFXIV or any other MMO. If you need help; just ask. There are plenty of people out there who would have it previewed in Party Finder and even more so people you may know personally who wouldn't mind having you around. What I don't condone though, and had to tell some who wanted mine or friends help, is carrying people. I'll help you run through this thing, walk you through how to do it and make sure your screen isn't full of dragon butt while doing it - but I won't carry you and let you walk away from SoF without learning something of the fight.

LOL.

Nathan has been tugging her along and few of the members convinced her to help assist with some as well! It's an awesome idea and I'm glad to have been able to help with everyone; Xenedra, Calico and Ojune being faces she's worked with more than once over the span of these day days. Gotta say, watching the characters genuine surprise was probably the most fun out of it all. :3

You already know Lottie and him have grown to be close friends, but I'd love if he'd involve her in more of those adventures we spoke about and help her get out of that shy shell! :3 But that goes for other folks too! She can be a tad distant with strangers but don't feel discouraged! She's just naturally derp when it comes to new people. She usually gets stopped to heal others or recognize her as one of the healers for the Grindstone events, so don't feel afraid to approach, even when she's running around and being stressed out for no reason.

We've already met on my Miqo'te but I've yet to run into you but I'm pretty amped for that to happen soon! Your character looks ~*fabulous*~.

*whistles* I've heard mention that you might have some one you fancy.. but if you ever decide to try an play for the other team.. Teveriel, stop stealing lady clothes! Don't worry, Lottie will take good care of him.

balmung The Grindstone - Saturdays at 10 PM EST (9 PM Central)
Lottie replied to YesGood's topic in Roleplay Events
You expect Sio to be gentle? *eyebrow lift* Nope, not at all. OHAI THERE. :tonberry: Also - Wednesdays are best for me. I work on Saturday until 11 pm and usually the events are in mid-swing or nearly done by the time I'm home and in my jammies. And I have no problem being one of the Healing leaders; it's fun to make sure all the healers have their respectful groups and having a chance to get some roleplay in between them all. So if you need anything of me beyond the matches to organise anything, just poke me! -
I. Basic Info Characters: Lottie Forsaidh & R'sonjha Seht. Primary character: Lottie Forsaidh. Linkshells: AGENTS, and a bit of other linkshells. Primary RP linkshell: AGENTS but she's generally well known to be an able conjurer and seeks to help anyone who asks for it.. II. RP Style Amount of RP (light, medium, heavy): Heavy, bb. Now there are times where I just want to (have fuuuu-ahhnnn, oh gurls jas - ) level with the RP partner or finish a dungeon in order to get some vanity items; so I'm prone to doing one half leveling and the other half roleplaying. My days are usually spent at work until the very late evening, so unless it's my weekend, you'll find me RPing already. Views on RP combat and injuries: Roleplay combat is a little tricky for me because sometimes, how someone writes can be taken in many different ways and I like people who are literal as possible - someone who can give me the basic idea of what they're doing and allow my imagination to do the rest. I like watching but combat is rather tricky for me to act out unless it's been pre-determined already or at least executed in privacy, where there is a few people watching who aren't constantly spamming walls of text about how their day has been! Injuries are a given, of course I'll represent what damage she has taken but if it involves anything heavy such as dismembered body parts or death, you'll have to let me know ahead of time. But never will I fight to win and in fact, favor losing. Views on IC romance: "She's taken at the moment and it's adorbs and such, I'm open to it but it can't take over everything that I do." - this statement is super old but I still stand by it! Currently she's involved with someone and though it's known that people can roleplay infidelity, it's not something that Lottie would do. But even without mentioning the roleplay partner I have, Lottie isn't very easy to approach with romance. She's been in love and has had her heart broken, so it's become difficult for her to learn how to trust another with her heart. Not to mention she's very strict when it comes to her work ethic; she will enjoy spending time with them but there needs to an understanding that her duty as a conjurer is important and cannot bare to neglect that fact. Some peeps usually like to completely stay IC with no connections, others like to build something of an OOC/trust friendship! I'm down with both though given the choices, I'd like to feel comfortable and also my partner. Views on non-romantic RP (family ties, etc): I would be greatly touched if anyone wished to play an actual relative of Lottie so it's something that I'd definitely try out. Her mother and father sort of exist in my image, so it's not likely I'm interested in someone roleplaying them but she's had many childhood friends who have been there for her! So if you'd like to contribute, let me know. Views on lore: I stick to the lore as much possible, even if it involves dealing with a little bit of grim and tears. If people don't and have their own idea of how things work, good for you! Just bear in mind that it may make roleplaying a little harder for us to accomplish because Lottie has a few traits that otherwise wouldn't be there, had she not been raised in Gridania. But the city is certainly one of my favorite of the starter places so far! Views on chat functions (/say, /linkshell, etc): I talk OOC and IC all the flippin' time, I don't mind it all because I think OOC bonds make the RP just -that- much stronger. I've made a lot of precious new friends because of going into an OOC discussion. For roleplay, I appreciate using /says and /emotes since I enjoy detail - though I did notice a certain tend people tend to do. So and so is a superhero sexyfaise, so I'm immune to what you just did thar. I have no idea that you're a superhero sexyfaise and neither does Lottie. Bear in mind what post as an emote, is something that I'm or Lottie isn't going to realise unless there are legit hints left! I also enjoy emotes that aren't very exaggerated, people who bear in mind to detail (when people are RPing but 'whispering' to each other, you need to realise that if you're not a Miqo'te or an Elezen- you'll probably not hear much) and are considerate of other people and company. A lot of people don't think that there's much to gain out of emoting 'scuse me and walking around someone/crowds of people but it really does put in some detail to your character that they get to know! Do they shove? Do they pardon and slither through? Or do they yell and threaten until there's a clear path for them? III. Other Info Country:'murika! Timezone: central. Contact info: Just leave me a message on here, I check them religiously! [glow=blue]~Special announcements can be found in the posts below~[/glow]
