I think thats fine having a group you're comfortable with - but having massive events in public places and making others feel they aren't welcome are two separate issues. I mean - Certainly, you need a stage for your roleplay like that and if its personal plot that is happening somewhere off the map, then sure, party chat it up. But a gathering of 10-20 people in one area, roleplaying their event with no regard of others who could happen to just walk into a city state is another.

*looks at super long Verbose posts and assumes that they could of just used bullet points to make things easier to read for us dyslexic members of the RPC, it took me 30 minutes to read one post.* As a social scientist, I disagree. Cliques in my opinion -are- bad. They are blatant examples of social stratification and inequality of the others. However I also think that being part of a clique is also damaging to ones reputation. Cliques for -anyone- are hard to approach and give a very stand-offish feeling to the members involved. They often have their own plots and ideas and when theya re together it is hard to veen be noticed with a post or not. Not to mention half the roleplay in 'cliques' are not publically accessible for those who might want to join in. For instance. I saw a few events going on by HoD in Ul'dah and Gridania involving massive fights. However it felt very very inclusive of only HoD members and felt that they had 'claimed' the area for their scene. Be this the intention or not, by only having guild members it felt like it was a 'cool kids only club' event.

I am starting a very small tribe, I have a thread on it in the making connections thread. However - If others want in we will be deciding what shared traits our 'clan' will have and why they migrated to Eorzea. I'm pretty bad at long detailed posts but we have around 4 members now - and I'd love a small rivalry going on or more members. There will he a patriarch a cheifdom but no gender differences in importance in each member. Hunter gatherer system with maybe a wise-woman and such.

I'll be re-purposing the work I put into this into a smaller private event. >_< Sorry to those who were looking forward to it, just events like this do require obligatory organisation.

So far I am leaning towards male. The girls just seem too.. Well. I kinda have the same problem miqote females. Like almost too cutesy - though they did say that their creation will be very detailed. The children of the Tumet, upon seeing their tenth summer, are tied to a sacred tree while the remainder of the tribe packs up and moves to their next location. Those children who manage to break free from their bonds and catch up with the tribe at that next location, are given a name and allowed into the tribe. Updates:~ 1. The tribe will have a 'leader' senior hunter/chief or whatever you wanna call it just for lores sake. We were sent to scout Eorzea for rival tribes and safe lands to migrate to from Western Othard. 2. We are hunter gatherers and will be making sure there is some genetic relevance between all our characters so we -look- like we're related in some way or another.
