1. Feel free to hit up either of my alts - Llaine Tetheros, zealous Holy Knight of Halone and leader of the Knights of the Spiral Eye, or K'hane Tariq, Journeyman Wizard of the Ivory Tower and professional klutz. Either lady would make a fine RP partner for you ^^
2. Bored, grinding FATEs in Coerthas. Whisper me for RP. Someone. Please.
3. Well aren't you just full to bursting with wit?
4. Just added: Llaine is sick of Sal's shit. Also seriously, fuck spoiler tags and how temperamental they are on this website.
5. I think a strong case for an alliance between Stormforged and the Knights of the Spiral Eye could be made, if you would like to work with us. Let me know through here or in-game (Llaine Tetheros) if you would like to talk
6. Is there a way you would like for our toons to reserve a spot for this? Or do we just need to show up on the date of the event? I'm sure my toon (daughter of a wealthy Ul'dah merchant) would fit in quite well there.
7. I'm going to utilize the D&D alignment system, flawed and constrictive though it may be, and say my favorite types of characters to play are "Chaotic Good" characters. Llaine, for instance, fights against what she perceives as those guilty of crimes against the citizens of Eorzea. She and her company only pursue murderers, rapists, bandits, etc., and their means of dealing with said criminals is often brutal and bloody. She lusts for battle and blood and is quick to draw her blade against a foe, but she is not a fan of wanton destruction, nor will she ever go berserker against an innocent. When I played SWTOR, though, I did enjoy playing as a Chaotic Neutral smuggler. Mukah never stepped over the line into Sith-style villainy, and she refused to outright work for the Empire, but she often and willingly engaged in smuggling, drug running, weapons running, assassinations, and the like. She was a criminal, but a halfway honorable criminal, and she was one of the most fun characters I've ever played.
8. Woah woah woah woah woah woah woah... woah... ... woah. There are "gritty" Belfs?
9. If nothing else, adding behind-the-scenes political proceedings would increase the realism and imersiveness of war games, making them more fun (to me, anyway). And like someone pointed out earlier, it's not like many countries that engage in combat actions often actually follow their own rules of engagement anyway.
10. Meet the command: Llaine Tetheros. Llaine is a member of the house Tetheros of Ul'dah, a wealthy merchant family. She gave up her cushy life in Ul'dah to pursue being a Holy Knight of Halone, and sought to reform the Order of the Spiral Eye, which her great-grandfather was the last surviving member of. Though she is a stern commander and a fierce fighter, she cares for the Spiral Eyes under her command greatly, and would gladly aid them in whatever way she can.
11. "No mercy for the guilty, bring down their lying sun, blood so silver black by night, upon their faces pale white." The wind blew cold in the chill night of the Coerthas Highlands. Fresh snow fell, beginning to cover the now-crimson stained powder that had fallen previously. A hooded and cloaked figure sheathed it's blade as a second cloaked figure worked to retrieve it's axe from the skull of one of the dead brigands. It finally yielded with a sickening squelch and the figure nodded to the first hooded one, slinging the great axe over it's back. The duo moved through the great oaken doors of the stone building they had fought to enter, it's spires and pikes speaking greatly of Ishgardian architecture. Moving stealthily through the musty, old corridors, the two finally came upon a great round room, with nine elegant seats arrayed across the far wall. The fifth chair, arrayed in the middle, was the grandest, and most elaborate, sporting two dragons that snaked their way up each riser on the back, and came together at the top upon which sat an intricate symbol that resembled an eye spiraling inward. All along the walls, interspersed by wrought iron windows, were banners bearing a similar symbol, regaled in green and gold. The hooded figure stepped forward slowly, analyzing the room. Behind it, the second figure entered, and in the candlelight it was revealed to be a male Duskwight, his face a stern stone gaze. The hooded one's breath was bated, as if suppressing great excitement with great discipline and temperance. Kneeling near the center, the figure removed it's hood. The face of a young woman, bordered by shock blonde hair, emerged from the shadow, her odd blue and green eyes alight with excitement and wonder. She brushed aside some dust and cobwebs that intruded on a shallow depression in the middle of the chamber, revealing once again the same spiral eye insignia. She stood and looked back at the Duskwight. "Gather the others, and make ready our forces, Salvius. The Spiral Eye has awakened, and must stand ready to judge Eorzea's sinners." -------------------------------------------------------------------- OOC Info: The Knights of the Spiral Eye is a RPPvE FC that engages in mostly RP content (like 90%) with plenty of members willing to aid others in instances and primal battles. They are a band of vigilantes that hunt incontrovertibly guilty criminals and bring them to justice when the law fails to do so. As such they have no regard for due process and the court system and can sometimes be seen as brutal vigilantes and thugs, but the Spiral Eyes engage in NO acts of a dishonorable nature and seek only to punish those who do. Don't think they are a simple band of vigilantes, however. The Spiral Eyes look after and protect one another as if they were all of the same blood. They believe in the tenets of honor, nobility, and chivalry, and take very seriously crimes within their own ranks, as well as betrayals between Shield-Brothers and Sisters. If you are looking for a friendly, active, eventful RP guild with a mature twist, then look no further! Recruitment officers: Llaine Tetheros, Salvius Dunois, and Rinria Eldred. PM any of us in game for an interview and invite! And don't forget to register an application on the FC forums!
12. I do listen to music while I draw. I find instrumental pieces on YouTube, some that last up to 2 or 3 hours, and listen to that while I draw. Mainstream music with lyrics distracts me while I draw.
13. Added another half-assed one lol Maybe someday I'll post one I actually finish to some degree.
14. I have three alts, all of them on different FC's. Figure out which type of RP you want to engage in first, then decide what FC sounds right for you. Just because it's small doesn't mean it won't still be quite active.
15. By the Void, Scarlet Blade. So bad
16. AhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA*snort*HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... hoo oh boy... ... ...pfffftHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!! Whew. But in all seriousness, the cutoff for shrugging and re-rolling is different for everyone. Me personally, sometimes I'll make a RP character, decide after 30 levels or so that I just don't like him/her, and roll a new one, but if I like the OOC play style of that character's class I might keep them around and still play them from time to time anyway. I have a Death Knight in WoW that was started as a RP toon and is now used for just playing a Death Knight because they're fun to play. TL;DR Do what feels right, man. It's your character, and your story.
17. I must be the only halfway otaku on Earth not watching Attack on Titan. I've been busying myself with Fate/Stay Night and Sword Art Online.
18. My alt Arianys is technically a pirate, I guess. She's part of a pirate/privateer crew, anyway. Send me a friend request or a PM in game and maybe her and Bhara can exchange pirate stories lol
19. So... people pay because it's other high-level players that can aid them in beating the primal? Like paying for the spot means they can get past the fight easier? I guess I don't understand why someone would pay 200k gil for a spot in a party unless they got some extreme benefit from it, and the only benefit I can think of is being helped by elite players.
20. WTF why is that even in the EULA? On Balmung alone I've seen more violations of that addendum than can be counted on human digits. Seems SE is making NO effort to police that one.
