Had a lot of fun at the festival though I ended up leaving fairly early due to my brain not being capable of handeling the crowds at times though I did return later on to take a look at some of the later contests. Was glad JH-RP was there to serve drinks and food for the usual seaside bar event that got moved to the Silver Bazaar. On that note I was glad to provide some roleplay to Jancis that didn't kill her head.

If there's a spot open for this I wouldn't mind one.

It's pretty much as Arik goes about it for myself. Initially before FFXIV I roleplayed elsewhere and never used " " in like the counterpart of /s in that game, but then I met a person that did it and I started doing it aswell because it looked more 'proper' I suppose? Just like Graeham, it just started to feel right and became a habit to keep doing it and now it's a constant and always.

Gonna be honest here I'm thinking ESO would be more your cup of tea, Celestial Mage. Atleast that game has direct lore on werewolves & vampires and what not and you won't be met with alot of 'EGH not this...' type of responses as you will here. But as other people gave you suggestions to make your character more 'believable' in origins, I wish you the best of luck in whatever you decide.

I've always used " " before & after my words in /say, mostly because at one point or another I don't use /em as my character starts with talking and then follows up with a physical motion. Ex. /say "Well you do know how quotation marks are always used. Right?" Character questions, his hands making a slight wave gesture as he leaned back against whatever. If anything it just provides an easier way of reading in that regard.

I think something like this is mostly just left up to the mind of the person you're roleplaying with and their in-character idea of 'is the person pretty or not because I think they are.' You can roleplay your character with a description, mentality that defines them as your personal ideal of handsome to a point where they have the attitude that matches them knowing something like that but to the next person you might aswell be some mediocre peasant while to another you're an arabian prince riding a white steed that attracts women like a brand new lamborgini.
