I like it like it like it! Seriously. I understand the block, I hardly ever draw anymore, but you should really go on, or at least I hope you do because you have something there. And the persons who draw with pencil nowadays are damn rare, I myself can't use anything else though, it has all a special feeling.

This. Because, if you really count gameplay for roleplay, we're all heroes carrying relics and able to be a master in 8 fighting specialities. I think what makes a RPer special is the power of imagination. Being able to see behind game mechanics, which are clearly not made with RP in mind. I once I did an IC run as a healer. My character is an archer, but the run per se, oocly, needed a healer. I just told everyone I was in reality being an archer, descrbes my looks, and during the run reminded that with my actions. You'll say, we should be able to use what we can see since it's not pen & paper, but I find only using what we can see terribly restricting. My main OOCly is a white mage. A friend has the habit to always be IC, and since I've been caught once in whm robes, cause I was ooc, I've been ICly asked about them. I just replied it was a costume, but I might as well have said none of those clothes were there IC. Fact is, each of us has very different ideas, it's normal, that's how it always goes into communities, and what someone likes or accepts may not be valid for others. I don't think there can be a fanon about such big things, because we will never agree.

Fact is, she accepts to teach you only because Towa-A-Kant himself demanded that. And even then it takes her some moments to accept, and it's made clear you are the one and only exception (basically because you are the hero of light).

More then sad she looks scared and horrified to me! Either way she looks very expressive, I like it like it!! And that's a whole lot of braids indeed!

That's what I meant, how can you play a white mage while respecting the lore wholly? You have to bend it a bit, and saying that padjal have been going around for a while teaching this magic to people...would kinda defeat the whole lore imho, since the whole reason padjal are born is to serve in that role and if it was just something anyone could be taught...I'd guess padjal wouldn't need to exist anymore. So, for me, if anyone would roleplay as a white mage, should have to be as a very special individual who ended up being accepted as such because of very unique reasons. Still a bit of lorebending but quite acceptable, but the other case, for me personally, would be huge lorebending.

So basically this makes of Summoner, seemingly to Scholar, not as much an exclusive job as it would seem. So what's left that should be hardly RPed at all? White Mage and Black Mage? I don't know much about the second, I just go from what I heard, while white mage in theory is something only padjal can be and in the story you are one just because you are the hero...but clearly fandom must be more elastic. Oh and Paladin I guess?

I don't know, to me it looks like in this game glasses were given to intellectuals rather then aged people. K'lyhia, the girl from arcanist questline comes to my mind as an example. But might be both things? Sure they're all but good at showing signs of age and maybe we're hurting our head over something they didn't even think about when making the game/character models.

There is Gridanian Surveyors, an FC+LSs based on Adders here. Apart from that, I was short ago surveying for interest for forming an Adders LS and had a bunch of interested people, but like you I don't have the time to lead one. If we make it, an FC-detatched LS, I'm in it so, since it was already in my books.

I play with nameplates off. For OOC I have to click everybody unless I know them well and it's annoying yeah..most time people cross me and I don't know For IC, I'm not supposed to know a name until told, and if I RPed with someone before I can generally recognize them anyway.

I personally like tags the reconnect to the name of the guild, for easier mind association. And I like them kept the same in time so a guild can easily be recognized by the tag. Yes, it has no value in RP, but neither does the nametag over the head. I could name my character Dat Ass and introduce IC with a perfectly lore valid name, and no actual character would know. But still, I think the impression on other actual persons is important, and I'd say the tag is a sort of...business card? So yeah for me it matters, but not so much to do a fuss about it, everybody is free to do what they want. I also wouldn't mind if an RP guild was by nametag called "Minnie is hot", for the same reason.

Actually, we have yet to discover who worships Shiva, since the devs said it's a beastman race that will only be introduced with Shiva herself. So not Gigas. As for beastman resembling always more to their Primal...in reality Ixali are less and less so, since they lost their wings. So I guess it's a rule not valid for everyone.

There's such threads on official forums as well, but it seems no answer can be found. So far it seems they live more or less the standard human age...
