Mortuary science sounds really interesting...I guess you probably don't hear that often though x_x And you're so fully of hobbies, I'd die to be able to play even a single instrument - except maybe after being dead I wouldn't be able to play it but eh, risks of the job! I admire people who can play such characters with success. T'lamila, and so other chars of mine in the past, was supposed to be one, but my nature forced me to change her at some point of rp. I like making others feel welcome, involve everybody in rp, especially newcomers. I could just go on with my antisocial character and wait for someone else to achieve that, but the truth is between anti-social characters and characters who just don't care about strangers/not friends in general (or perhaps the person behind doesn't too) I always felt pretty much forced to turn my character into more interactive. Though, instead of making her someone who really cares about others/is friendly, which would be not fitting for her, I just made her suspicious enough about everybody to feel the need to inquire about them personally. But yes I wish antisocial characters would always find a way of being involved themselves without the need for someone to drag them! So many times I've seen people complaining that if they rp everybody ignores them etc...and even if you try to drag them in, give them all the attention, etc..they'll do no effort themselves and end up going away because they feel (ooc) lonely in that rp. Nice suggestions all over this thread!

Honestly, everytime I open the game i consider buying a kitchen, subliminary! But yeah now that i think about it, why it's most spam about kitchens? It's not really a product you buy in chain lol

Nice input! Someone else as well was telling me, when I created my Keeper, that to take inspiration from arabian names, though at the time I didn't realise it applied also for Seekers. But I think of Sheqa, eh, the sound is there. Or my Sihel Nelhan, I slightly modified it from generator and everytime reminds of the Temple of Abu Simbel. As for Roe, I think it's in naming coventions, or anyway should be something devs themselves said But honestly doesn't look gaelic at all too me, too much consonantic and strong, gaelic is really a soft language.

WHAT I believe they're only doing that to counterbalance the increase in NQ turn-ins since the HQ turn-in is multiplicative of the NQ turn-in. But I may very well be wrong about that. Uh I think so, but I'm honestly not that sad since...since I've always been bad at HQ Mh wondering if the same applies for supply missions? I have yet to read patch notes myself, but I didn't think they had touched all the classes and so much...and also some other things...everytime someone tells me about one these changes I stop breathing D:

They had said personal houses about 6months after this patch minimum...and only maybe. Besides, I don't think FC housing should be something restricted to the big ones, I'd even dare say a tiny one for the basic operative functions should come for free with rank (and maybe with credits?), and big fancy ones for who wants more. And put personal housing as big luxury. But this is just my opinion, and I'm not even part of the big revolt that's coming out of this info ehehe.

Eh...yes. Suddenly I don't feel so much urge to buy one anymore. <.< Sad thing is, most of the guilds that are big/rich enough are sure not of RPers, most likely of endgame raiders....whom I doubt have any use for housing. I mean, those who want to fiddle with housing are those who like hanging around RPing and chatting, sure not those who spend their time farming money...

Welcome! I played on Phoenix for a bit, made an alt there because a friend and his guild had established there. I ended up transferring that alt as well to Balmung. Despite my short experience there, my friend himself told me it was seemingly impossible to find RP on that server, and he ended up quitting the game. And that was still very close to launch, when the population was big and active. So if you want to play on Phoenix regardless, I make you the best wishes, who knows maybe you can build a community there yourself! Otherway you should know that if you move you'll be able to find a good number of europeans also on Balmung *is one* ^^

Oh its all in character, The Ossuary is frequently left open, so when i'm not wandering Thanalan with the few of them, we like to speak there. Its not just smacking though, with the breadth of most libraries, the projectile method seems to serve well. Theres also using them as traps around tight corners, stacking the heavier tomes on the edges of shelves so they fall in the others hunt ect. I'll admit, sometimes my teaching gets a bit dull and I know working my students too hard can make them stir crazy so once a moon or so to let them wind down is handy. Uhm should really organize survival sessions with this method you know...I mean in RP, out of game it looks like you do already

The game absolutely charmed me! The graphics were beautiful, the areas were vast and filled with wonders, the NPCs spoke in Mandirin, and for some reason my wings bugged so I could fly about infinitely and explore for as long as I wanted haha. Aah I sure didn't get that far ahaha. I loved the graphics and the world in general, also the pet system and all...but the grind ugh! I played during that neverending beta, then it stopped working and support was never able to help me...after like an year I was able to play again, when it changed from Online to Odyssey. Made a new char to try the new race, but then I logged my main (gourd weapon <3) and seen they were gifting me 20lvls and a load of items for having played during beta so...I got to more or less 40, but when the kill 10rats got too intense I stopped I also guess it's not a game to play alone.

I can sure understand that. My problem is for some reason I can't get myself to play races with weird proportions, so in the end I only play Miq and Hyur. I RPed a lala for a bit, was fun at the start but after a while I just couldn't take her seriously. And while elezen are not that abnormal there's something about head-body proportion that makes me cringe And roes are wonderful rare individuals but again...too big for me! This a million times. When I first replied my understandig was a canon had been established in the community. But since that seems far from being the case, everybody will have preferences, and should be free to do as they wish as long as there's ooc communication to avoid misunderstandings and awkward situations.

I think it's normal, I've always seen them in each and every forum. But they're all disappeared as soon as a moderator logs, so I don't see much of a problem with it myself. Plus, my characters kinda need some jewels, maybe I should have contacted them
