    Most of the hosted events I see around here are bar and beach stuff... not exactly snooty We get the balls as a fun alternative, they're rare enough that I haven't been able to attend one yet. As for social events.. well.. yeah. MMORP is a social thing. There's a sidebar discussion somewhere about action/adventure RP and how to find it, and generally speaking, big events are not the place for it.

    They're just as much in the dark as everyone else. I'm not worried about them, really, I think its a nice opportunity for drama and character development. Sometimes these things are unwelcome.. but they're usually interesting

    We are really derailing this.. but my goodness I really wish I had known about this. My favorite change when we moved servers a while back was suddenly having a lot more PM space, but I still can't avoid deleting a bunch periodically. Its nice to know there's a feature to save copies

    I was going to say that Wawarren is just too adorable... but I get Zhavi instead! Terrific, inspired, creative, and fun! Zhavi's writings are both entertaining and flavorful, and gave life to a Limsa Lominsa that hadn't seemed quite right until I read some of her stories long ago She's inspired my own writing as well, and my only complaint is that we've never RPed! I mean, come on Zhavi! :-D

    That's the whole point Graeham. Its meant to be based off of in-game RP.

    I'm not sure if the Ascians are controlling Ishgard's people, or.. government even. But the religion? I believe that. I think the pope is a puppet to 'em. Or one himself. They run the gamut from agent/puppet, through willing dupes, through ignorant zealots, all the way down to the virtual chattel of the lower classes.

    And that gun could very well have started a general Eorzean war. The Admiral knows that she will have to deal with whoever winds up in power in Ul'dah. She cannot determine that outcome (and were she to try she would be met with immense resistance in both her city-state, and the one she were meddling in). She made the prudent decision in staying her hand
