Kage was such a good mentor to Ruru that he went on to mentor Kenny from South Park soon after.

Osric's Mod Hard Hat is his sleepwear.

Nebbs says hugs are for a positive interaction, but reality she uses hugs as an excuse to cop a feel of everyone in the server.

Kage? Keep the fantasias away from this one! Damn I am slow. Franz! I never met him ICly but I recall a time he should have drank his five hour energy drink with Edda. *giggles*

Hi! Glad to see your post. Like Jancis above I am not on west coast and am usually in a sleep coma by their dinner time LOL. But, plenty of folks for sure. And don't worry...I struggle with anxiety all the time.....wasn't until the other day when I tried walk up rp with folks and loved it. Now I force myself each day to get out there and meet more and get more involved. People here will gladly help. Best of luck!

Simple. I think Warren is awesome in all respects. Grindstone folks! Look it up! -
*Please note this story is told entirely from Melodia's POV. The words and views expressed are not my own as the player. Sunrise - The light intruded upon her sleep and her dark red eyes blinked open slowly, a soft wincing moan slipping from her lips, her hair strewn to the side. She was naked save for the arm of the other woman draped over her back. She was passed out, that one. An Elezen and for the life of her, Melodia couldn't recall her name. She always struggled with that part. The intimacy, lust and sex came easy.....was the names she had a tough time with. She could see this same woman a week from now and she'd look the part of a fool trying to recall her name. Gently slipping out of the bed she fixed the blankets over the Elezen and quietly slipped her clothing on, her camise top and a skirt that was far too short. She looked every part the woman she'd become over time: a whore. Though to be fair, she thought to herself. Those ones charge money. She did the act simply out of the enjoyment. At least that's what she told herself as she slipped her boots on. Glancing back at the sleeping woman she sighed. She'd been a beautiful partner and maybe they'd run into one another again. She never forgot a face. Names maybe. But never a face. She walked to the mirror and fixed her hair with her hands and her eyes looked almost sad as she looked at the woman in the glass looking back at her. She shook her head at the stranger their and reapplied her lipstick before turning to gather her belongings in her handbag. She paused at the door and blew the sleeping woman a kiss, a soft whisper, "Ye were amazin' love..." She opened the door quietly slipping out into the Quicksand and heading to the Chocobo porter outside. She needed to get home quickly to make breakfast. Her wife was to wake soon and she enjoyed being there for the start of the day. And it was a busy day ahead of her.

I want to express kudos to the following folks, as for the past two days I did what I thought was not possible and engaged in walk up rp and it was a ton of fun. 1) Valirelia Ferox - Loved meeting your character! Was a good way to get introduced to the Quicksand crowd. 2) Sorora Everen - Was awesome to meet you ICly finally. Loved playing along with your matchmaking scheme and getting to know you a bit more. 3) Floria Raine - Nya! So cute! I loved having Melodia pick the literal most random character walking in the door as Floria's "date". Made for some awkward hilarity and you were such a good sport. 4) Ninifae Nira - On the second day I just approached your character who I had never met and we had a fun rp. Taught me a good lesson about easy hooks to rp with. Thank you all and look forward to meeting more folks as I wade into the rp further.

This work is awesome! Jellllllly of those who have pics nya! -
As someone who has forum rp'd here I will echo Nebbs and Alothia. Forum rp almost requires a partner, someone who is willing to dedicate time to that delicate dance that is forum rp. There are pacing issues, setting, etc. and the reason I bring this up is because Alothia is very correct in her assessment. The players here take lore seriously. Even the ones that aren't as rigid may struggle with a moogle using guns and being a rogue. I will say a lien that will turn people off is: "I've never player FFXIV and don't really care about that kind of rp.." That is something folks take seriously, so best not to undermine your potential rp partners right off the bat. Best of luck.

Thiiiiis. When all else fails, make friends. I believe we even have some linkshells showcased here on the RPC specifically for helping folks clear content. "make friends" I'm sure that's easy and simple for all you social butterflies out there, but for someone like me you may as well ask me to climb the friggin' moon. You may then (rightfully) ask me why I am playing an MMORPG, but then I would have to retort that this is the closest thing to a modern remix of the original Final Fantasy games we've had in close to a decade now and there are many reasons to play an MMORPG besides social interaction. And also, what Melodia said. I wouldn't class myself as a 'social butterfly'. So no, it's not easy. If people are shy then that's something people can sympathise with but if they want to do group content then...they're going to have to interact with other people. Especially if they don't want to rely on the duty finder. I think you'll be hard pressed to find a player that doesn't have issues to deal with. At the end of the day, though, there's plenty of routes to go down when it comes to finding groups to tackle content. It might take time, effort and more than a few failures but that applies to most aspects of life. I do interact with people. Daily. So my question for you and the community maybe is, when PF groups repeatedly fail or fail to form, and friends won't help, and DF is impossible (I am looking at you FCoB)....what does someone in my shoes do? Just suck it up and accept that I won't get a clear?

as someone without a static or a group, usually doing content alone, I will say this is not as easy as it seems. When I have asked LSs and friends for help with content I know they have cleared, the answer I usually get aside from silence is a resounding, "Ah can't sorry. Busy. Maybe some other time." Every time. Just offering my experience. Have you tried using this site? Or setting up something through the party finder? Granted it may not be a success every time but if the duty finder isn't working out then it's wise to pursue alternative options. Oh I utilize PF a lot....and after a couple hours of waiting and me shouting in each zone for help, only to have three members join who subsequently drop....it's been a resounding failure as well.
