This is why I avoided the trials roulette. If there was a way to auto fail and restart it would have helped, but the time commitment involved only to fail so close each time...the reward was not worth it. Now....hopefully it's better.

I can finally maybe do my daily trials again. Haven't clicked that queue in a while.

Surprising...I would have though that it doesn't matter if they are more demonic, people's ignorance and prejudices don't favour the truth of something. But I imagine SE don't want players to feel disheartened by playing characters who are shunned by the NPCs you are the hero of. This is not fun at all, and it makes no sense anyway. Yugiri covered her face because Eorzeans don't know what an Au Ra is. I doubt Ishgard, always isolated Ishgard, knows better. If doesn't matter what Au Ra's real nature is; no one can figure that out at first sight, especially when the very explanation about their lore states how easy it is to mistake them as dragons. Just like I don't follow the whole "I'm the hero, watch me shine" part of the lore, I don't want to lose the chance to get interesting conflicts with Au Ras. Not doing so feels weird, forced, and sugar coated anyway. So are we just disregarding this because we don't like it? It's lore...I am sure there are plenty of rp'ers who would gladly disregard lore because it isn't fun, but to simply ignore it....doesn't feel right either? I'm just saying my thought is all. I don't have an Au Ra and don't have much horse in the game at all with them. Just saw the comment and wanted to offer my thought.

That would be great! Just send a tell, I get on around 4pm-ish usually, today will be around 3 pm. earlier is always better because Mel's spouse likes her time as well. And as someone who was alone for a long time, Mel does have thoughts oon it. As an aside! If anyone wants to meet with her about other issues, she's had a hell of a life...might be able to offer advice on a lot of things. So don't feel like it has to be limited to just relationships. :thumbsup:

Melodia stumbled into the doorframe of her small Free Company home. No one was there at this hour and she fumbled for her keys, eyes blurred and the poor lighting not helping at this hour. "Gods damn it....f'ckin' keys..." She slurred the words, drunk and clearly inebriated. She finally managed to get the key into the lock and entered, the well lit main floor causing her to wince as she stumbled to the hall where her lone room resided, the main door kicked closed behind her. She let the keys fall to the floor and as she entered her bedroom/office she let out a grunt that was a combination of mockery and exhaustion. Stripping down to her basic hempen camise and underwear she slid the partition door to the back side of the room open, mumbling. "Ha...ther'pist me arse...jus' a damn thief..an' ye know....it..." Melodia collapsed onto the bed, face first, passing out almost instantly, the last thing coming from her mouth a whispered, "..'lone..." The snore came next as she went into a deep alcohol induced sleep.

I want to express kudos to T'caska and Nebbs, for helping thus far with my endeavor to rp in the capacity of a therapist. It's been nerve wracking and still have a lot to learn but it's been fun. I still have an appointment with Bryn to hold and look forward to that. Again thank you. I'm happy to be finding a foot in a long term rp and getting to know people that way.
